Although Peter's previous communication wasn't answered by Stark, Jarvis was at least awake. Upon hearing of the monster's approach, Jarvis imdiately activated the security protocol, evacuating most of the staff and initiating all possible protective asures. This effectively delayed the Lizard's actions.

However, the full execution of the security protocol required Stark's personal authorization. Without this security protocol, many permanently sealed safety doors couldn't be closed, and many large-scale lethal weapons couldn't be used. Although the Lizard's progress was slowed, there was still no effective ans of dealing with him.

Spider Man also discovered his lack of powerful offensive ans. During his chase of the Lizard within the building, he several tis knocked the Lizard down, even using his spider silk to trip him a few tis. However, this big guy was extrely hard to take down. With each punch landing, all he did was shake his head.

This monster seed to have a recovery ability beyond that of an average human. Peter used fallen shards of glass to cut off a section of the Lizard's tail, intending to first sever one of his arms. Without his tail, the Lizard would have difficulty maintaining his balance.

Yet, before Peter could make his next move, the Lizard's tail rapidly regrew.

anwhile, Peter swung around the ceiling on his spider silk, attempting to distract the Lizard with his words and prevent him from climbing upward.

"Hey, big guy! Where did you get your rapid-healing potion? Look here, your Spider Daddy's going to give you a big kick, just like this!"

Peter swung down again, aiming to kick the Lizard squarely in the chest. Yet, the Lizard had learned. As Peter swung towards him, he swiftly dodged, caught Peter's foot, spun him around a few tis, and then flung Peter out.

Peter collided with several office desks before flying out through a window.

Luckily, he perford a mid-air sorsault, with a strand of a spider silk sticking to the wall, allowing him to swing back through a broken window. He then kicked the Lizard in the back.

Although Peter had learned significant combat skills from Steve, his fighting style remained rudintary at best - only sowhat better than flailing wildly. He learned to use his spider silk to increase his agility and to use gravity and inertia to strengthen his strikes.

Although such tactics couldn't completely subdue the Lizard, they were effective in slowing its pace. After all, Peter was strong. Each kick sent the Lizard stumbling, and each punch left the creature dizzy for a while.

The two pursued each other across multiple floors. Despite their mutual interference, the Lizard eventually climbed to the upper levels of Stark Building. Spider Man shouted in frustration, "Jarvis, how much longer does Mr. Stark need? Could he hurry up?"

"I am initiating ergency wake-up asures...."

"What ergency wake-...."

Before Peter could finish speaking, a thunderous sound emanated from inside the Stark Building.

A rock music player capable of producing a sound at least 100 decibels loud was blasting. Both Spider Man and the Lizard were thrown off by the huge sound wave.

"Is this your ergency wake-up asure?! Can't you just give him so headphones?! It's an indiscriminate attack!" Peter yelled at the top of his voice, but it was drowned out by the loud music.

Jarvis amplified his own volu and replied, "Mr. Stark extrely dislikes noise!!! This should effectively sober him up!!!"

Jarvis's words were followed by a cha suit flying in through one of the building's broken windows, with Stark screaming, "Enough!!! Shut it off!!! I'm awake now!!!"

When the music finally ended, Spider Man, Iron Man, and the Lizard were all left with ringing ears.

Spider Man was still recovering from the ear-splitting noise when he shouted, "Jarvis!!! I have to say!!! That was your most effective weapon yet!!!"

Stark didn't have ti for nonsense, as his ho was being destroyed. He instantly launched a full-power assault, sending the Lizard flying out of the Stark Building.

The building was incredibly tall. Unless the Lizard could sprout wings, he was bound to be smashed into a pulp.

However, this monster appeared to have great balance. In mid-air, his tail whipped Iron Man's cha suit. After an aerial roll, he grabbed the edge of the window and jumped back into the center of the battlefield.

Stark seed to have just sobered up and was still a little groggy. It took him a while to get up after being smacked by the Lizard.

With Spider Man continuously harassing the Lizard, Stark connected with Spider Man's communication system and began to formulate a combat plan.

"Listen, we push him to the roof, then I use another cha suit to ambush him, knocking him off the roof. He doesn't have the ability to fly, right?"

"He doesn't. If he did, he wouldn't be here. But his super fast recovery power is a problem. Even if he falls, he might not die."

"But he definitely won't be able to move."

Said and done, Peter and Stark darted in and out. Both were highly agile, and Stark had the firepower inside the Stark Building at his disposal. With his Palm Cannon, they chased the Lizard all the way to the roof.
