On the rooftop, Stark stood at the edge of the building, incessantly firing shells at the Lizard, who disregarded the ever-harassing Spider Man and charged directly at Stark.

Stark feigned a lapse, lowering his flight altitude. As expected, the Lizard lunged, grabbing onto Iron Man's cha. Iron Man, due to inertia, blasted off the rooftop with Lizard in tow, both of them began to freefall.

Initially, Stark had planned to lure him, encouraging him to leap over the edge, and then ram into him with another cha, but the monster was too fast. He took hold of the cha Iron Man was piloting in a blink.

The Lizard's strength was imnse. The cha quickly started to fu. Stark shouted from the inside, "Jarvis! Discharge!"

"Sir, discharging now will render the cha unusable due to this height, you will be killed from the fall,"

The two were falling at high speed, the howling wind sounded in Stark's ears. Stark voiced, "Discharge imdiately! Scrap the cha! Blast out! Soone will catch !"

Jarvis paused for a second, the entire cha started to emit violent electricity. The Lizard let go due to the pain of the electric shock. The cha exploded amid flashes of electricity. The cockpit was ejected, and Stark disembarked in mid-air and started to fall.

Instead of it being too risky to fall from such height, it was more the ti taken to fall from such height that saved Stark. As a Spider Silk swung by, Spider Man managed to catch the falling Stark.

Soon, the explosion debris of the cha and the Lizard fell to the ground together.

Amidst the flying dust, Spider Man placed Stark down. It was a close shave. If he had fallen from such a height, not even God could have rescued him.

Soon, as the dust and smoke cleared, the gigantic monster lied in a pit. It seed to have all four limbs broken, and its organs should have turned into a pulp.

However, his superhuman recovery ability was relentlessly at work. Within a few breaths, the deford skeletons slowly returned to their normal position. Spider Man said: "Oh, my God! He can even recover from this! Is this a miracle of dicine?"

Stark squinted and said, "Indeed, it's a miracle of dicine..."

"We should quickly overpower him. If he recovers, it would be terrible."

As Spider Man prepared to advance, another cha flew over. Stark, after getting ard, stopped him. Stark said: "This kind of self-healing consus energy. His power should be running out soon. Let's see his true self."

Stark seed to have insinuated sothing. Spider Man was sowhat puzzled. What was the real face of the Lizard Man? A giant lizard?

Peter said, "A few days ago, I found soone conducting an experint in the sewer. This monster must be the product of that experint. We capture him and then go find the real culprit."

As Peter was explaining how he had discovered the traces in the sewer to Stark and then encountered this monster, he glanced at the pit and noticed that the monster's body was shrinking rapidly. In a while, it has reduced to nearly the size of a normal person.

Then the green color on his body and the unique features of a lizard started to fade. His eyes widened, and there in the pit was a gray-haired middle-aged man.

"Doctor Connors!"

Peter was utterly astonished. He stuttered, "How co...how...why...How can this monster be Doctor Connors?"

"I knew this super-speed recovery capability was familiar," Stark raised his face guard. He walked into the pit, Peter following behind him.

Peter was having difficulty articulating, "There might be so misunderstanding... Was he frad? How could he be a monster? Doctor Connors is a wonderful teacher. He helped a lot. I..."

Stark remained silent, his cheeks pale, appearing as if he had just awoken from a hangover.

The man on the ground stirred a bit. Without any hesitation, Peter rushed forward to help him.

Luckily, even though the Lizard fell from such a great height, the ultra-speed recovery ability allowed his bodily injuries to be nearly fully healed before he returned to his human form.

Doctor Connors turned over with his strength. His head covered in fresh blood, with almost all of his clothes soaked. He turned his head to look at Stark, and with a low voice said, "I was... I was so close... so close...cough... to passing judgnt on you, the devil.."

Stark, instead of mocking his enemy as usual, silently gazed at Connors.

Peter couldn't really make sense of the situation. He was on the verge of a breakdown, "What the hell is going on? What happened between you two? Doctor Connors, why... There must be so misunderstanding, right?"

"Peter, Peter Parker," Doctor Connors closed his eyes, his voice filled with exhaustion, "Spider Man, you have spoiled..."

He stopped speaking, either due to lack of strength or an unwillingness to speak further.

"Yes, I'm Peter...Doctor, can you tell what really happened?"
