"The Tahiti Project? Explain it in detail," Ross furrowed his brow and walked up to the agent, "From what I rember, S.H.I.E.L.D still had plenty of manpower. The records of all the projects initiated by S.H.I.E.L.D need to be preserved as much as possible."

"Alright sir, first let explain the Tahiti Project. When the news of Nick Fury's death arrived, our personnel concentrated on storming S.H.I.E.L.D's top-secret project records room. After using considerable resources, we finally got our hands on the detailed paperwork of this project."

"The Tahiti Project, a.k.a, T.A.H.I.T.I, stands for 'Terrestrial Application of Alien Humanoid's Innards for Trauma Injury'. Essentially, it was a top-secret body experint plan led by Nick Fury. The main objective of the plan was to devise a thod to resurrect humans without side effects."

"The reason Nick Fury initiated this plan was because S.H.I.E.L.D once obtained a special object, which led to the discovery of a unique alien race."

"A mysterious item called 'Obelisk', docunted by the Departnt of Special Item Managent, was confird to be associated with the Kree aliens. At the sa ti, Nick Fury discovered that a certain tissue inside a Kree's body could be used as an ingredient for resurrection dicine."

"By the ti we got hold of this record, the project had already made so preliminary progress. A formula known as GH325 had been put into developnt."

"So far, we haven't found the research log. But according to the records we have, this formula had reached a stage where it could revive any human that had died within a few minutes."

Ross frowned, "So, you're saying that Nick Fury conducted a top-secret experint to revive humans, but why would they do that?"

"Based on what's recorded in the docunts, Nick Fury was pessimistic about the Avengers' future. He believed the cosmos contained too many unknown dangers, so once humanity stepped into the universe, sacrifices were unavoidable. As the vanguard, the Avengers will be targeted first."

"However, we cannot afford to lose these valuable resources. So, the best course of action would be to have a ans to resurrect them when there are losses."

There was a mont of silence in the room before a general spoke: "I have to admit, Nick Fury didn't get his title of King of Special Agents for nothing. One might even say it was a waste to have him work only as a special agent considering his foresight."

"Perhaps he had seen it coming, that despite all the extraordinary abilities possessed by the Avengers, it was still not enough to resist dangers from within and outside the group. Therefore, he poignantly proposed the plan," the general shook his head, "There won't be another S.H.I.E.L.D Director as good as him."

"You said that the main ingredient of this resurrection dicine cos from alien tissue, but where did Nick Fury get aliens from?" Ross asked with confusion, "He doesn't happen to have so Kree stashed away on Earth, does he?"

"This is not ntioned in the docunt. All sources of the ingredients are unknown. However, the raw material for human testing... according to records, is Hydra mbers captured by S.H.I.E.L.D."

The agent was slightly hesitant to say this, but no one in the room seed to mind. One general even waved his hand and said, "I didn't think that trash could be useful in any way."

"Get to the point," Ross emphasized. "Where is the so-called GH325 formula? Has its capability been tested?"

"We have only found a small sample. None of the docunts had written any usage quantity or thod. After receiving the news of Nick Fury's death, our team imdiately seized his heavily-guarded office and storage room."

"Nevertheless, Nick Fury had set up a system where important docunts would auto-destruct if it lost contact for a certain period. We suspect that crucial docunts might have been destroyed."

Ross slamd on the wall forcefully, "Professor X can only hold off that madman. Also, our previous policies towards mutants have made them completely distrust us. Charles Xavier is probably not willing to help us; he'd like to take the benefits and disappear."

"We only have three days. We must find a solution within these three days; otherwise, there'll be no other Professor X to save us."

"And if the mutants can't help us, we only have one option left. That is to find a way to resurrect the lost Avengers, especially Iron Man, Captain Arica, and Spider Man. Shiller's friends and family. Have them convince Shiller."

"But how could we, within three days and based on a tiny sample, develop a formula that can resurrect them? What's more important is that we haven't even found their bodies."

The general cleared his throat lightly, causing Ross to reluctantly step back. The general then spoke solemnly, "Originally, resurrection was nothing more than a pipe dream; we couldn't consider that option. But now, Nick Fury's past research has given us a spark of hope. We have the world's most exceptional researchers; we have to try."

"Let's dispatch a part of our team to find the bodies, and have another segnt assemble all the docunts and sample. Have them gather the experts in the fields of dicine, pharmacology, biology... No, we can't afford to make a big fuss. Gathers only the most top-tier experts."

"Tell them, if they can't synthesize a resurrection formula within three days, they might want to start praying to God for their own resurrection."

"So, you're saying that I have three days to develop a dication for resurrecting humans?" Doctor Connors closed his eyes and sighed at the agent, "Do you need to teach you how to phrase 'daydreaming'?"

"I'm a biologist, not God. Even if you sought God, He would only find your ideas ludicrous."

"Doctor Connors, we're not asking you to start from scratch. We've given you all the data from the Tahiti project. Of all the researchers we've found, you're the most likely to complete this mission." The agent took a step forward, speaking earnestly.

"All the data? What did you give other than a simple explanation of the purpose of the project?"

"Where are the experintal logs? The compositional analysis? The subject behavior records? What kind of data is this? You might as well give a biology textbook!" Connors shrugged off his hand, speaking in an absurd tone.

"Doctor." Another female agent moved forward and pleaded, "You have invented a limb regeneration drug that benefits humanity, just one of many great accomplishnts. We're begging you, use your talent and wisdom to save humanity. You must...".

"You know what? The more you talk, the more disgusted I feel. Everything about you screams about where you co from."

Pressing his lips together, Connors', eyes behind his glasses were a pair of vertical pupils flickering with a chilling coldness, he said, "You all know that I invented the limb regeneration drug. But did anyone ever tell you why I created it?"

"Many years ago, you told the sa thing. You said I could save humanity. If I joined the military and went to the battlefields, I could maintain world peace. Young people like , full of such dreams, moved into the military and took part in those unjust wars you started."

Connors's tone was extrely intense, he continued, "I didn't see any hope of human progress in the battlefield, surrounded by gunfire and mourning. So, I returned to this country with my mutilated body, thinking there would be my family waiting for ."

"I never needed my family for material support, I just wanted them to comfort ."

"But after I lost an arm, people from the sa place as you ca to and said, you better get out of here because you're useless."

"Others who went through the sa ordeal as didn't have my education, so they could only crawl into their dark corners, barely surviving."

"And you, other than turning a blind eye, keep using this rhetoric, deceiving even more unsuspecting victims."

"You taught them too little knowledge, but stirred up too many emotions in them so that they ended up having to beco tools and sacrifices," Connors looked at the agents opposite him, "Just a few days ago, I received a death notice from my favorite student, Peter Parker. I bet you tricked him with the sa talk of responsibility, having him beco the S.H.I.E.L.D Director. He was not capable of this."

"Like all the people you deceive, he died in a scam, and none of you want to take responsibility for it, thinking he was troubleso," Connors lifted his hand, holding the file he was previously handed, "I know you will say, this can be used to revive Peter Parker, but I know, if he were alive, he would not want to see his teacher, working for those who are his enemies."

"Doctor Connors!" The agent's face quickly turned cold., "We're just following orders. Neither we nor you can refuse."

"Look, this is your last resort..." Connors turned away, looking out at New York through the floor-to-ceiling windows, he said, "That's why I never wanted to be a superhero..."

As his words fell, he took a drug capsule from his pocket and ruthlessly stabbed himself in the neck with it. The next second, the sound of glass shattering echoed throughout the room, followed by the hissing of a lizard and a low voice:

"Superheroes can't go crazy whenever they want, but a lizard can."

Inside the conference room, General Ross looked at the giant lizard in the New York City skyline sounding exasperated, "What's going on? How did the lizard appear again? Why does he always show up just when we're most desperate?"

"It was your agent who provoked him!" A much younger officer stepped forward with folded arms and said: "General Ross, you really need to change your approach..."

"Bickering now, really?" The senior officer spoke with dissatisfaction, "At present, the leading biologist would rather turn himself into a monster than work with us. Who is to bla?"

anwhile, seated at the table, Old General Davis, after hearing Dr. Lizard's story, shook his head and sighed, "In the military, post-war comfort must be done properly. Whoever touched this fund, they're digging the nation's base."

"These young n who went onto the battlefields, ready to die for their country, are the most vivacious blood in this heart, supporting us to move forward. If you take them away, this country will be finished."

"We need to discuss the problem at hand!" The senior officer sighed, "Doctor Connors refuses to work with us, and we don't have the energy to deal with a monster of this magnitude. What about others?"

"We're trying to get in touch with Dr. Reed, Dr. Ethan, and Doctor Otto. I'm confident that with so many leading human scientists, we can find a way to create the dicine!"
