Shiller leaped to the rooftop on the right and descended the stairs of the building to reach the ground level. His target is a Samurai Squad.

If traps were to be set up in the Cathedral, Batman would only need to contact Death Angel. But now, the Samurai Squad is also moving here, proving he has contacted Lady Siwa too.

Even if he wanted to quickly get rid of Tone and preserve his own life, there’s no need to have people from both sides co to receive him. After all, Tone is just a normal person, with injuries to his legs and arms; there’s no need to make a big fuss over him.

Therefore, the reason the Samurai Squad appears here is most likely because Batman is eager to retrieve the nano-equipnt.

They most likely have already discovered that Shiller is not Batman. To be precise, he’s just not a good person. Moral coercion and psychological stimulation have no effect on him. There’s no need to stage so drama about "personally rescuing The Destroyer," nor is it necessary to hand over the nano-equipnt to Shiller for him to rescue Batman. Batman can simply retrieve the equipnt himself.

Hence, Shiller speculates that these Samurai Squads are supposed to deliver equipnt to Batman. And his target is the nano-equipnt in Lady Siwa’s possession.

A Samurai Squad usually consists of about 3 to 5 people. The one Shiller is eyeing has only three individuals. Their attire is notably different from the sect mbers, making them easy to recognize even in the dim lighting of the city.

Shiller lays in ambush at the street corner. As they turn the corner, Shiller fires five shots with a silenced pistol. All three are taken down. The muffled sound doesn’t carry far and hasn’t alard any surrounding sect mbers.

Shiller searches them as quickly as possible but does not find the lantern-like device containing the nano-equipnt that is described in the comics. He then heads towards the second squad.

Bullets are limited, so he must conserve them carefully. This ti, he fires only one shot, taking down the leader. The remaining two are dealt with using the Fist Blade, yet they have nothing on them either.

Shiller steps into a secluded alley and begins to ponder. At that mont, he spots a figure in a purple hoodie flash by the street corner—it is Lady Siwa.

Shiller hesitates briefly and decides not to attack directly. He instead circles out from the other side of the alley, just in ti to see two sect mbers patrol out of a building. This ti, he opts not to use a gun; he flashes from behind them, strangles one by the throat, and stabs him in the back. As the other turns in response, Shiller punches him in the eye socket to fend him off, then kicks him in the abdon. After knocking him down, he drives the Fist Blade into his throat.

Right after, Shiller strips the red robe off the sect mber he killed with a backstab and wears it himself. The robe conveniently has a hood, which he pulls over his head. Due to the extrely dim lighting in the city, the hood obscures everything.

Shiller drags both bodies into the hallway and then pretends to finish patrolling, erging from the hallway and heading towards Lady Siwa with a lantern in hand. He passes the street corner where she appeared without a change in expression and sees Lady Siwa standing between two Samurai, conversing about sothing.

The two Samurai don’t even glance at him. This confirms Shiller’s earlier suspicion: they’re all in cahoots; those so-called fights are staged.

Precisely because of this, Shiller can approach them. He walks briskly past them with his head down. At the closest mont to them, he pulls out the pistol from his cloak.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Because the distance is so close, the two Samurai are directly shot in the head. Lady Siwa is shot once in the lung, blood instantly choking into her trachea. As she gasps for air, Shiller slams a fist into her face. After knocking her down, he seizes the lantern containing the nano-equipnt from her hands.

After snatching the item, Shiller promptly turns around and leaves, ensuring no one sees his face. He knows that the shot won’t be fatal to Lady Siwa but could mortally wound the collaboration between the Assassin’s Union and the Saints Order.

Shiller quickly departs with the nano-equipnt, returning to the building where Batman was. He observes sect mbers carrying so kind of device into the building.

Very soon, sect mbers leave the building with Batman and Tone, and others are uninterested in lingering there. Shiller takes advantage of blending into the shadows and enters, returning to the room where Batman originally was.

The room is sowhat chaotic. Although the specific course can’t be discerned, Shiller knows Tone must have attempted to attack Batman. He possibly aid to kill Batman but ended up being swayed by his smooth talk, eventually delaying until sect mbers arrived to take both away.

From the traces, Tone seed to want to smash a glass jar at the back of Batman’s head. But unsurprisingly, the quality of that thing is excellent—a chair couldn’t break it.

Shiller begins to wonder what condition Batman used to persuade Tone; this is crucial. If Nanobatman has ever killed Tone, ordinary terms wouldn’t suffice. It must have been sothing crucial, an offer striking directly at Tone’s heart.

In the original plot, Tone is Bane’s son, and he witnessed Death Angel Paul kill his father firsthand. This is why he wants to rescue Batman, hoping Batman will kill Death Angel. Perhaps Batman promised to help him avenge his father?
