However, Tone, who had already been killed once by Nanobatman, would not easily trust Batman. Unless... Batman promised to give him the nano-equipnt.

Perhaps that is why Lady Siwa ca personally. After all, Tone is Bane’s son, and it might be difficult for an ordinary samurai to subdue him at first sight. If the nano-equipnt were really stolen by Tone, Batman would be inconsolable.

But now, Lady Siwa was knocked down by a shot from him, the nano-equipnt was taken by him, and only the sect mbers went. Batman’s plan to use the nano-equipnt as bait to stabilize Tone until Lady Siwa arrived to subdue him was basically ruined.

The sect mbers were unlikely to defeat Tone, and Batman was now just a head held by Tone, becoming a hostage with no power to resist. In this case, he could only continue to delay, like taking Tone sowhere else to retrieve the equipnt.

After checking the situation in the room, Shiller began to inspect the nano-equipnt in his hand. He opened the lid of that "lantern." Almost instantly, sothing completely invisible climbed onto his arm.

He could feel a very faint, icy touch, like being blown by a cold breeze. Imdiately following, he felt sothing attach to the surface of his skin, yet it was invisible to the naked eye.

Shiller had so guesses. He took out his daggers and lightly cut his finger. Before the blood could seep out, the wound had already healed. It seed this was the magic of the nano-equipnt.

Moreover, the hunger caused by the long absence of food and water disappeared in an instant. His body quickly returned to its optimal state. This made Shiller feel pretty good.

Without further experinting, Shiller chased after the direction where the sect mbers had left at the fastest speed. He found his steps light, his speed greatly improved, and he even gained night vision ability, with all senses further enhanced.

Therefore, he could easily see the marks on the ground. After all, Tone had an injured leg, and his gait was peculiar, leaving very noticeable traces. Following these traces, Shiller approached the Cathedral and turned into a small alley not far from it.

There was a governnt building here, but the part above the fifth floor was missing. Shiller heard noises inside the building. He climbed up to the second floor along the drainage pipes on the outer wall. In the office on this side, he saw Tone tied to a seat and the Death Angel soaking Batman’s spine into a nutrient liquid jar.

Shiller rushed in directly, firing continuously at the tallest figure in the room—the Death Angel. He didn’t care about the bullets, emptying the magazine as soon as they t, at least seven or eight bullets pierced into the Death Angel’s body.

The opponent turned around frantically. Shiller paid no attention to his roar, taking advantage of his speed, holding a fist blade, he thrust upwards into his jaw. The sharp twin-bladed dagger of the fist blade plunged straight into the brain. The Death Angel convulsed twice and then stopped moving.

Shiller chose not to look at the Death Angel lying on the ground, instead, he pulled Batman out of the nutrient liquid jar, grabbed the spine, and started smashing it to the ground.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

With the combined support of Shiller’s original power and the nano-equipnt, it took five hits to finally smash the glass jar open.

"No... No!!!" Batman let out a miserable howl, "You can’t do this to !! Otherwise, you’ll never complete the mission!!!"

Shiller neither responded to him nor questioned how he knew about the "mission." The fist blade slipped into the jar’s opening, stirring forcefully. Batman’s "genius brain" shattered completely. Shiller let go, throwing the head onto the ground. Brain matter and brain fragnts flooded out like a mudslide.

The bound Tone looked at Shiller with terrified eyes. Shiller walked over with the fist blade and said, "Don’t look at like that, I know you’re not innocent either. Goodbye."

With a wave of Shiller’s hand, Tone’s trachea was slit open, and soon he was quiet. He opened the interface to check the mission, and indeed it had not failed.

Upon learning that they were in cahoots, Shiller changed the plan: everyone could be Batman, so he had to save everyone. Conversely, as long as he killed everyone, then none of them could possibly be Batman.

The performance of the "Broken Bat" did not match that of Batman, the Death Angel Paul was also unfit, and Tone was obviously still too immature. These three had the potential to beco Batman, but there was a process needed to turn potential into reality.

Currently, none of the three t Batman’s standards. If they wanted to beco Batman, either the Broken Bat would have to nd his ways, the Death Angel would have to repent, or Tone would need to inherit the mantle—it would always require a change. But if all three were killed before they changed, they would never transform into Batman.

Shiller’s guess was correct. The mission did not directly fail, aning these three were not considered the real Batman at present. The subsequent Batman might erge among these three, but since they were already dead, they were removed from the list.

Shiller closed the mission interface, just in ti to see the pale-faced Lady Siwa rushing in. The black-haired woman was stunned, staring at the blood, brain matter, and bodies in the room.

"You, you killed them all?!"

In her mont of shock, Shiller had already lunged at her. Lady Siwa, worthy of being a martial arts master, instantly bent over to dodge Shiller’s swipe. The fist blade glinted coldly, and a lock of black hair fell. She flipped backward to put distance between herself and Shiller.

"Damn it!" she said as if realizing sothing, "So it was you who stole the nano-equipnt!"

Just as Shiller reached for his gun, a cold gleam flashed in Lady Siwa’s eyes, her fingertip lightly brushing the surface of her right-hand watch. Shiller’s motion instantly froze.

"Ha!" The woman, as venomous as a scorpion, let out a cold laugh, "Only I can control the nano-equipnt. You’ve been duped!"

Imdiately, glittering particles began to fly towards Lady Siwa. Not only were the nano factors departing, but the nanobots leaving the body were also taking away Shiller’s flesh. The arm that contacted the nanobots, even half of his body began to reveal ghastly white bones.

In the next second, Lady Siwa’s vision spun. She felt as if she was hit by a train. Before completely losing consciousness, she saw the scornful smile in Shiller’s eye on the still intact half of his face.

"Greed, arrogance, ti to work!"

After saying this, he slowly fell down as if his consciousness was being withdrawn.
