At the edge of the Centaurus Arm of the Milky Way, near a dark planet on the fringe of a galaxy, a fleet of three escort ships was slowly traveling. In the main control room of the flagship, a blue-skinned captain was chatting with his first officer.
"It's really strange. How can there be thieves in such a remote place? I've heard that the only civilization in this vicinity is the human civilization on Earth. Could they have stolen our spaceship?" The First Officer asked in puzzlent.
"Impossible." The captain shook his head very firmly, saying, "You do not understand the human civilization. They are still a group of low-level civilizations that stay on the planet's surface. They simply happened to be born on a plentiful planet, which enabled them to survive in the cosmos. They do not even have the ability to travel in the cosmos. How could they possibly steal our spaceship?"
The First Officer nodded and said, "Indeed, then who could it be?"
"There are plenty of thieves in the cosmos. Have you forgotten the group of space pirates we encountered at the edge of the shattered dinsion? Maybe they did it."
The Captain's tone carried a hint of anger and disdain. He continued, "The perpetrator must have only wanted to ss with us. Their target might not be a small escort ship."
"After all, anyone who can accurately locate us in deep space, assess our spaceship's status, observe our patrol route, and then make a move against us, undoubtedly has the ability to navigate the deep spaces of interstellar civilizations."
"How could they get here if they didn't have their own spaceship? Since they have their own spaceship, why would they steal our escort ship? It's nothing more than seeing the poor condition of our fleet and wanting to provoke us."
The First Officer nodded in agreent. The Captain's logic made sense. This was a very remote galaxy, with no indigenous civilization, or editable resources. It was like a desert in the cosmos.
The Kree believed that the only reason other forces would appear here was to pursue the Kree fleet. Those forces who had the skill to navigate deep space and chase after Kree's fleet, even if they were lower tier than the Kree Empire, certainly had their own spaceships.
The Kree's highest-end technology was their planet warships. Most resources of their civilization were devoted to these gigantic warships, so their escort ships were relatively low-technology.
They had also lost a good number of escort ships in the past, and parts of these ships had been sold on the black market. However, most of those who bought those parts were usually low-tier civilizations that found interstellar navigation sowhat difficult. Higher-level civilizations found these basic spaceship parts useless.
However, he did not know that the magic tech developed by the mysterious side of humanity was unique in the cosmos.
Even though humans themselves did not possess the power to use magic, their strength was "borrowed" from the Cosmic Sorcerer. Be it mysticism or science, humans have an endless passion for developing technology and improving productivity.
The Captain rose from his chair and walked over to the window. The First Officer followed him. As he turned around, he saw a spaceship suddenly appearing outside the window on the other side.
"General! What is that? How did the spaceship on the flank get here?... Wait! No! That's an enemy! Alert! Quick, alert!"
However, before he could finish his sentence, golden thunder engulfed the entire spaceship. In an instant, all communication signals were cut off.
With a sizzle, a portal opened mid-air, and a woman with green hair flew out from it. With a wave of her hand, all the tal in the main control room shot up.
The Captain and First Officer started shooting the mont the incident occurred, but the floating tal blocked their sight. As Polaris landed slowly and clenched her fists, their tal helts imdiately crushed their heads into pulp.
Polaris did not even glance at their corpses. She turned, and with a "bang," the door in front of her opened, and more Kree guards rushed in.
Just as the weapon energy poured out, Polaris extended both her hands. As her movents paused, all energy condensed in mid-air. She then waved her hand forward, and the whirlwind brought about by the magnetic field swept back all energy. In an instant, pieces of Kree guards, like they were flushed down a sewer, were all swept back into the corridor.
The blinding alarm light in the spaceship shone on Polaris's face. She showed no emotions in the face of the bloody scene in front of her but walked out expressionlessly. More Kree guards appeared at the end of the corridor, but they were no match for Polaris.
The Kree were ordinary carbon-based life forms and didn't follow the path of physical enhancent, greatly contrasting with the semi-deities civilization of Asgard.
The Kree's individual combat abilities were not strong, they mainly relied on weapons. Their entire armor was made of special tal that could resist severe impacts. They mostly used laser beams and electromagnetic cannons. Given the words "tal," "laser," and "electromagnetic," it's clear why Polaris has a fourfold advantage against the Kree.
Similar events were also happening on the other two spaceships, with mutants like Polaris and Iceman leading the attack. These mutants could act quickly but did not cause much damage.
