The Universe Foundation Fragnt was put on the machine, which imdiately recognized the item. On the several screens around the equipnt, way too much information for just a single person to understand appeared nonstop, being watched by various experts. "Start!" Rean gave the order.
Imdiately, a huge amount of Light and Dark Elents began to concentrate on the crystal above the Fragnt. Half of the crystal shone with white light, while the other half was pitch black. Finally, a ray of dark and white light shot in the direction of the fragnt below it.
The Fragnt was indestructible for them. Naturally, trying to change its shape was out of the question with conventional thods. However, there was one mont when the Fragnt did change its shape, the mont it tried to fuse with other Fragnts!
Using this knowledge, Rean and the other experts went in and out of the Soul Gem Dinsional Realm countless tis during these eight months, bringing several pieces of equipnt in and out as well. What they created here at the mont was nothing more than a copy, an energy copy!
This equipnt generated a type of energy extrely similar to the Fragnt the twins have in the Soul Gem Dinsional Realm. If their fake energy could fool the Fragnt for just a mont, it should liquify, just like when it tries to rge with other Fragnts.
Ti passed slowly, and seconds turned into minutes. Yet, the Fragnt seed to show no reaction whatsoever. In Rean's experience, the Fragnts changed into their liquid forms almost instantly as soon as they touched each other. Yet, several minutes went by, and nothing happened at all.
"Could it be we were wrong?" Rean couldn't help but comnt.
"Perhaps the similarities aren't close enough," Samira added.
Howard, on the other hand, had other ideas. "Maybe it is not the energy, but the fact that it can detect whether the physical form of another fragnt is present or not."
Droman pondered about it. "Maybe it is the Extinction Sphere's Energy that is getting in the way, too."
Several other theories were ntioned as the equipnt continued its work. The experts also changed the paraters of the laser many tis, trying to achieve sothing. Yet, the sa thing continued. The Fragnt continued in its physical form without showing and changes.
"Sigh... turn it off. Let's go over the data and see if we can learn sothing from this test," Rean said, a little dejected.
"Wait!"
However, just as they were about to turn off the machine, Droman called their attention. "Look!"
Everyone paid close attention and didn't see anything. However, judging by Droman's expression, there had to be sothing there. They paid even closer attention and finally noticed. It was very little, almost imperceptible, but the outer layer of the Fragnt did seem to be lting, just a little.
"This..." Rean's eyes lit up before he ran to the front of a screen near the machine. "What paraters are we using here?"
Everyone followed and checked the information. It only took a few seconds, and most of those who understood the information on that specific screen imdiately understood. "It's the space between Elents!"
At this mont, they were using a configuration that tried to keep both Light and Dark Elents slightly further away from each other than when they started. First of all, the fact the machine could make these two energies work together was only possible because Rean and Roan were there. They had the best knowledge and feeling possible toward these two elents. Otherwise, this machine would have never been created.
"I see!" Rean then felt enlighted. "The Fragnt usually has both elents as well as Yin and Yang working together. They are like Roan and I, who can use these two opposite elents to suplent each other. However, during the fusion with other Fragnts, these two elents, also Yin and Yang, must separate from each other. They only co back together once the Fragnts finish the fusion."
"So... the fact we separated both elents and Yin and Yang a little made the Fragnt think another Fragnt was starting a rging process?" Frincan asked.
Everyone, including Rean, nodded. "That has to be the case!"
"Julia," Rean turned to a woman on the side, a chemist from Europe back on Earth. "You know what to do."
Julia quickly nodded. "Leave it to ."
The woman quickly operated her equipnt, and the light coming from the crystal changed instantly. Now, both Light and Dark Elents, as well as the fake aura they gave, were two distinct phenona, both hitting the Fragnt at the sa ti.
*Glug!*
Sure enough, the mont Julia made that chance, the Fragnt turned into a liquid form. It tried to fuse with whatever was trying to fuse with it, thinking it was another fragnt. Of course, there was no other Fragnt nearby, so it just kept its liquid form.
Rean faintly smiled and then turned to a floating ball of colored energy in the room. "Senior Huban, we have exposed the Extinction Sphere's Energy. Please, destroy it!"
Huban was shocked to see the Fragnt go through such a transformation. But above all, he could clearly feel the Extinction Sphere's Energy apart from the Fragnt's. Rean had called him earlier, telling him that he needed soone capable of at least moving it away from the Fragnt.
Huban told him that he could even destroy the energy if necessary. The problem was that the source of that remnant energy of the Extinction Sphere was inside the Fragnt, and he was powerless against the Fragnt. Now, however, it was there for him to deal with. "Great job!"
Suddenly, the world seed to change, and Rean, the only Space-Ti Realm expert present, felt the laws going through a movent he had never seen. "This is... changing of laws!"
The ability only Semi-Celestials have, the power to change the laws, even if just for a small amount of ti! Huban was sacrificing so of his comprehension towards the laws to get it done.
All that transformation then enveloped the Extinction Sphere's Energy completely. "Hmph!"
With a snort, Huban pulled that isolated energy away. Following that, a crack in space appeared, which Huban used to send the Extinction Sphere's Energy inside.
Finally, those changed laws compressed and then ignited behind the fabric of space.
*BOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!!!!*
An explosion of proportions Rean had never seen before followed, and it ca straight at them. However, Huban imdiately closed that crack. Rean felt the space power around him going completely chaotic for a few minutes. But other than that, nothing else happened.
