Rean and Kentucky left the city on the sa day, taking the teleport formation there to a bigger city. Two cities later, they finally arrived in Hinnra City, which had a Long-Distance Teleport Formation. Kentucky, obviously, returned to the Celestial Soul Dinsional Realm so there wouldn’t be a need for them to pay for two teleportations.
The journey didn’t play any more tricks after that. At least not dangerous ones. Sotis, Rean and Kentucky had to leave the cities where they arrived. That’s because you wouldn’t always find the necessary connections. Another reason was that it was a good thod to mislead any possible pursuers, not that they had anyone after them with their, once again, new identities and appearances.
Hours turned to days, days to weeks, and weeks to months. Rean and Kentucky continued on their journey without issues.
"Will we get to the Divine Snow Mountain in ti for the test?" Kentucky asked, flying past the border of another continent on his way to the Divine Snow Mountain.
Rean checked his CD, nodding his head. "We spent more ti than we expected in the Glacial Corridor, but the test to join the Divine Snow Sect was also quite far away to start with. From what I can see here, we still have three months before that happens."
"And how far are we from it?" Kentucky asked again.
"After we get to Zandew City ahead, we will only need to take another three Long-Distance Teleport Formations to get to the Divine Snow Mountain Continent." Rean got that information from the sect’s official website. "And before you ask, yes, that is the continent’s na. They literally nad it after the sect’s na. Or perhaps both the sect and the continent were nad after the mountain? I don’t know."
"Hey, that should be Zandew," Kentucky nodded before he noticed the city walls and buildings far in the distance.
Rean checked his CD, confirming that he was right. "That’s Zandew indeed. The Formations Guild in there should have the next teleport formation. Let’s not waste ti and go straight there."
A few minutes later, Kentucky landed near the city entrance, imdiately going back into the Celestial Soul Dinsional Realm. Rean just walked into the queue to enter the city, paid the fee when his ti arrived, and went straight to the Formations Guild.
The city was quite big, and there were Long-Distance Teleport Formations to various other locations. Rean noticed that the movent in the guild increased quite a lot too. After inquiring and paying for the teleport to the next continent, he moved to the right terminal, and joined the group that waited for the next teleport to happen, although it took a few days for it to happen.
Finally, he stepped on the teleport with everyone else, disappearing with a flash of silver light when the ti ca. From there, Rean didn’t even need to call Kentucky out anymore. Between short and long-distance teleportations, Rean managed to enter the Divine Snow Mountain Continent... or so he wished.
"Hum? I can’t teleport into the Divine Snow Mountain Continent? Why?" Rean asked, seeing that he couldn’t join the many groups waiting to be teleported there.
The Formations Master answered. "That’s because the sect’s recruitnt is about to start. You have no idea just how many cultivators, demon beasts, spirits, and even so rarer races co to try it out. So, to prevent the continent from becoming overcrowded, most are barred from entering when they arrive at the continents bordering the Divine Snow Mountain Continent."
The guy wasn’t lying. Ever since a few continents prior, Rean t enormous crowds, all of them seemingly teleporting in the Divine Snow Mountain Continent’s direction. Rean and the groups he teleported with had to wait several days in each Formations Guild since there were many other groups waiting for the sa teleportation.
Rean thought he could simply get in there and easily apply for the test. He didn’t really have much interest in the sect, though. He just wanted access to the Divine Snow Forest at the base of the Divine Snow Mountain. "There has to be a way to get inside, right? I also want to take part in the test."
"Obviously," the Formations Master confird. "There are two, in fact. You can either pay an extra fee, or you can go to one of the many Divine Snow Mountain Sect Branches in the surrounding continents to take a simpler test. If you pass it, you will be granted permission to enter the Divine Snow World Continent. Only then can you apply for the Sect’s test in there."
"I don’t have patience for another test. Tell how much this fee is." Rean had a lot of Divine Stones, anyway.
"For this year, the fee is 320 Rank Four Divine Stones," The Formations Master spoke with a knowing smile. Seeing Rean’s cultivation, he was certain Rean would apply for the test instead.
"Here, all yours," Yet, Rean didn’t think twice and threw a Spatial Ring at the guy. Even though it was expensive, he would save ti by paying.
The man took a look in the Spatial Ring, feeling surprised soone of Rean’s level would pay that amount. ’He probably is so young master from sowhere...’ the guy thought for a mont.
Regardless, with the paynt made, he quickly accepted Rean. "Well, then, please provide your ID."
Rean smiled and gave it forward.
"Well, Rick Sanchez, your ID is registered. You can pay for the teleportation now," the man spoke.
"I also have to pay for the teleportation?" Rean felt like crying already.
"Yes," the man nodded. "You paid for the permission, and these stones will go straight to the Divine Snow Mountain Sect. Our Formations Guild has nothing to do with it. We have to charge our own fee for those wishing to use our facilities, after all."
"Sigh... fine." Rean then paid for the teleportation... which he couldn’t take imdiately.
"Good," the guy quickly added Rean to the latest group at the end of the queue. "See you in a month and nineteen days."
Rean truly felt like simply barging into that continent now. Too bad he was certain it wouldn’t be easy. Such a power would have counterasures in place. In the end, that was the ti he had to wait until his group finally had the chance to use the Long-Distance Teleport Formation. By the ti he entered the Divine Snow Mountain Continent and reached the right city, there was only one week remaining for the test to start.
