"Buy our way into the sect...?" No one expected such a test to be present. So even wondered if a test like that had happened before. Too bad Kyan didn’t give them any explanation. Once he finished his world, he and his two subordinates flashed away, leaving the participants on their own.

However, a big tir began to count down right above where those elders were a mont ago. A total of 80 hours, to be more precise. Anyone could tell that was the ti limit to ’buy’ your way into the sect or fail... probably.

Roan took a look at his token, obviously a circuitry device, as it showed a holographic number.

-1287-

"What is this test even trying to test? Our Bargain abilities?" Kentucky asked out of curiosity.

Rean shrugged, not entirely sure. He also checked his own token, and the number was quite similar, showing 1259 performance points. "How much do the rest of you have?"

Zangeshu checked his own.

-854-

Rifindio, Ridia, and Kentucky did the sa. They had 1057, 1165, and 641 respectively. Ridia helped Zangeshu prevent sneak attacks on the way to the mountain, but it was also true she perford the least between the two of them. Thus, she had the lowest amount of points.

"Let’s go to the stalls to take a look," Roan comnted, walking to the border of the field.

Everyone followed, and they reached one of the stalls where there weren’t many participants. There, a disciple sat behind the counter, smiling at the participants. "Co, co, co! Do you want to join the sect, then I have the lowest prices! You won’t regret!"

The twins’ group checked the prices, still finding that test weird. All stalls had so holographic panels in front of them, displaying many prices regarding the passes into the sect.

Sure enough, it wasn’t as simple as simply paying points to enter the sect. There were other requirents, and depending on what requirent it had, the number of points necessary would be higher or lower. You had to complete all the requirents if you wanted to pay to enter the sect.

Yet, there was an exception. At the very top of those panels, there was a pass into the sect that could be bought with points alone, no requirents necessary. It’s just that those passes were by far the most expensive ones.

-Free Sect Pass: 10000 Points-

Naturally, no one there had that many points. The participants with the highest point weren’t the first ones to arrive, though. Instead, they were the ones to display the best prospects. That was one other use for that room where Silveria and everyone watched the test. Rean, Roan, Kentucky, and Rifindio, even though they were far from being the first ones to arrive, definitely had so of the highest points in their tokens.

"Let’s see..." Rean checked the other options. "Hum? Provide the answer to fix this gravitational dual string talisman plus 4213 points."

Rean then pressed his finger on that option, and a holographic image of said talisman quickly appeared in front of his eyes. Rean didn’t know much about talismans, but he did know more than most at his level. "Hum... this is a little similar to so of the runes I used in the past. If I’m not wrong..."

Rean began to move his fingers over the holographic image, and as if knowing what he wanted, the talisman being shown there was being rebuilt. However...

-Incorrect Answer-

A big red ssage appeared in front of Rean, closing the holographic image of that talisman a mont later. Not only that, even though Rean pressed that option on the table again, he couldn’t bring it up again. "Seems like we only have one chance..."

Kentucky couldn’t help but ask. "I understand the logic, but even if you manage to fulfill the requirents, the price in points you need to add on top is more than what anyone has. How do you earn the points necessary to buy the pass?"

*Bang!*

Not far from them, a burst of Divine Energy spread, and a cultivator was sent flying back into the field. He fell to the ground, vomited blood, and quickly lost consciousness. Following that, a demon beast ca forward, taking the token away from the guy.

How could the others not understand? That demon beast was obviously trying to earn more points by simply taking down other participants.

Yet, Roan snorted after seeing that. "Hmph! What an idiot."

No one understood why Roan said that before the next event happened. As if the Demon Beast broke so kind of rule, a bolt of lightning fell from the skies, splitting that Demon Beast’s body into two halves! They imdiately fell to the ground, and the sll of burnt flesh spread. That took everyone aback, and the idea of attacking anyone else for their points quickly disappeared from everyone’s minds.

"You knew it was going to happen?" Ridia asked Roan, curiosity all over her face.

Roan glanced at her for a mont before nodding slightly. "We have participants between the Elental Transformation and Void Tempering Realms here. If stealing soone else’s point was possible, then why would they send anyone below the Void Tempering Realm into this place? It would be the sa as telling them to co and die. What’s the point of such a test? It would have been better to separate the participants by cultivation level instead."

The demon beast earlier almost killed a cultivator at a lower realm than it, and it died because of that.

"Does that an we can’t attack anyone in this place?" Kentucky was also curious.

"Probably," Roan nodded.

Rean pondered about it. If they couldn’t steal points to make up for the prices, then how would they accumulate points? Even the cheapest options on those stalls still required over 2000 points plus the requirent to fulfill before paying those points.

It was then that he had an idea. He pulled his token, approaching Kentucky. "Daffy, try to pass so of your points to ," he said while touching Kentucky’s token with his own.

Kentucky understood and nodded, quickly sending his Divine Sense inside. A mont later, 100 of Kentucky’s points disappeared, and Rean gained those sa 100 points.

"As I thought," Rean spoke. "We can get more points. We just need to convince others to give them to us... without using brute force."
