The mission they took was aid at Void Tempering Realm disciples, which was the lowest they could apply for. Otherwise, they might have taken so Energy Gathering Realm mission in the neighboring city just to make it faster.
Three days... That was all that it took for Rean, Roan, and Kentucky to return from the Crifidew Country. They went to the Missions Hall, passing their report of the accomplishnt of the mission.
"Do we really need to co here to take the missions and report them? Seems like a waste of ti. Why can’t we take and report them through the sect’s system?" Rean couldn’t help but complain.
The disciple sighed, having heard that sa question countless tis. He then turned his holographic screen in Rean, Roan, and Kentucky’s direction. It had several images of them while they were fulfilling their mission to get rid of the wasps. "To make sure no one is cheating, we need to check your identities and your appearance face to face. I know you probably will say that there are better thods that don’t require you to co here, but these are the sect’s rules. Anyway, give your IDs so I can match them with the mission in my system."
The trio did as they were asked, and soon, all the information regarding the mission appeared on the screen for the disciple to check. "Hum? That doesn’t make sense. It says here you guys took this mission three days ago."
"So?" Rean, Roan, and Kentucky asked at the sa ti.
"Are you kidding ?!" The disciple didn’t buy it. "There is no way you can eliminate the entire swarm of Fire Stinger Wasps in just three days! You three are only in the Initial Stage of the Void Tempering Realm! Did you hire outside help? I must warn you! Using outsiders to complete the disciple’s mandatory mission will result in a heavy punishnt. Especially for you, Rick Sanchez. You are Elder Rean Lotan’s Direct Disciple."
Roan narrowed his eyes, not afraid at all. "If you don’t believe it, then send soone to verify. The point is, we got rid of them, and we didn’t receive anyone’s help, got it? Now, just mark it as complete so we don’t need to see your face for the next half year."
’Savage as always...’ Rean and Kentucky thought.
"Hmph!" The disciple imdiately made a report by the side of the mission’s details before marking it as completed. "Don’t think I will let it slide. Now that I marked it as a potential break of rules, there will definitely be an investigation to make sure you completed this mission with your own strength. You ju-"
Too bad he wasn’t able to finish his words. When his eyes turned back to where the twins and Kentucky were staying, they had already left. He only had ti to see those three disappearing through the exit. "Fuck!"
Following that, they returned to their residence, entered the Dinsional Realm, and continued their cultivation.
Things followed that sa pattern for the next few years. The mandatory mission arrived, and then Rean, Roan, and Kentucky would co out. They completed whatever they had to do in record ti, never taking more than a week, quickly disappearing once again in their residence. As for the investigations? All of them turned out fruitless. There was no proof of cheating. In one of those tis, an elder even followed them, just to return and shake his head. He saw with his own eyes that the twins and Kentucky were just too ridiculously strong and smart. Well, Rean was Lotan’s direct disciple, so he attributed their capabilities to Lotan’s guidance in the end.
Even though years passed that easily, no one there considered it anything special. Cultivators don’t care about such small lengths of ti. Still, cultivation wasn’t the only thing the twins did.
Once in a while, they would co out to help their disciples. Rean obviously helped Zangeshu in his training and revised his schedule. Kentucky checked on Rifindio, although Rifindio seed to be doing great by himself. He was already very diligent to start with... actually a lot more diligent than Kentucky himself.
Roan didn’t have a disciple anymore, so he spent his ti in the Dinsional Realm while Rean and Kentucky checked on their guys.
There was also the Parasol Tree. Ridia’s cultivation improved by leaps and bounds, and she easily broke through into the Void Tempering Realm. Not only that, with the unlimited number of Divine Stones she got from her father, she already reached the Peak Stage of the Void Tempering Realm. In just a little bit over ten years, the girl’s cultivation went up by an entire Realm! For the sect, she beca quite an exciting prospect, on par with the top geniuses there.
She even received a proposal to beco a direct disciple of Elder Kalahan, a Divine Demon Sequoia, which she accepted by Roan and Kentucky’s orders. In the end, they weren’t Demon Plants, so there were things only another Demon Tree could teach her. She only had to be careful to not speak about them too much. Fortunately, the girl knew what to do and benefited even more from her status as a direct disciple, just like Rean did.
After checking on Rifindio and giving him a few drops of his Celestial Bloodline, Kentucky went to check on Ridia. He was also responsible for the girl. "Hum? This is becoming quite ridiculous..."
Ridia only left her location when she had to take the mandatory mission from the sect. Zangeshu always accompanied her during such missions, and they also had Rifindio tagging along so of those tis. That way, they could complete them together. Of course, they weren’t as fast as the twins’ group, but they still managed to finish them quite fast.
That wasn’t what surprised Kentucky, though. Once Ridia’s group finished their mission, Ridia always returned to the sa place in the Forest. Back then, Kentucky selected this specific location because there weren’t many Demon Plants around. This ti, however, the area transford and was by far the most crowded by them. Spirits and Cultivators who had Earth and Wood Elent Affinity also seed to flock in this place.
Why? Obviously, it was Roan’s cultivation technique! The pure Earth and Wood Elents that ca out of her as a result of that technique were very beneficial to all those who cultivated in those elents. At the mont, you could say that no other part of the Divine Snow Forest was as green as the area Ridia cultivated. That was quite the sight...
Kentucky’s voice imdiately reached Roan in the Dinsional Realm. ’And you complain that I catch too much attention. Look at what your cultivation technique did...’
Roan opened his eyes, seeing all the greenery where before was a forest covered in ice. "Not too bad. She is making good use of my cultivation technique. Tell her to continue like that."
Kentucky’s mouth twitched. ’Aren’t you coming out to whine about the attention that SHE is taking?’
"She isn’t as annoying as you, so let her be," to which Roan didn’t give a damn! He knew Ridia was Elder Kalahan’s direct disciple, and that was enough to guarantee her status in the sect.
’So unfair...’ Kentucky could only cry in the end.
