"What if we ignore the lake and leave this area?" Soone asked. "The palace is enormous, and we don’t really need to stay near this lake. We could totally leave this place, wait until we are very far, and only then start going around again."
He wasn’t wrong. After the experts entered the palace, they soon noticed how the palace extended thousands of kiloters around. However, soone else imdiately refuted that idea. "Not gonna work. I wasn’t even supposed to be here. I can see a few groups that moved in the opposite direction from and my companions back at the entrance. And yet, we t again in this place, even though we should have gone separate ways."
He wasn’t the only one who noticed this phenonon, that’s why he didn’t bother hiding this fact. He was correct. Even though various other groups went in different directions, little by little, they began to converge at this lake, which seed unlikely due to the direction each one took at the start.
"Well, I’m going to give it a try anyway," the sa guy from before then guided his group back out of the lake area. Perhaps everyone was fixated way too much on this lake and the waterfalls, and there was so other trick.
Since everyone noticed that the later groups were indeed converging here, so of them decided to leave as well. That was especially so for groups with lower numbers of high-level experts.
But then again, what about those who stayed? Trying to go around the lake obviously wasn’t working, and with their cultivations suppressed to the transition realm, they didn’t have access to Spatial Power at the mont. They were lucky enough that they still had their Natural Spatial Perceptions, which were obviously affected due to their cultivations, too, but that was all.
"Kentucky," Rean looked at the Minokawa. Just like the twins, Kentucky was also able to use his Spatial Powers at the Transition Realm, and his race always had a higher affinity towards that. "Can you feel anything? Is space really being manipulated?"
Kentucky closed his eyes for a mont and nodded. "Yes, it is hard to notice because of my suppressed cultivation, but there is indeed Spatial Manipulation going on."
Elsie looked at them. "Do you think you can find a way past this manipulation?"
Kentucky concentrated. Then, his eyes turned in the lake’s direction. "I can’t find any flaws on the sides, but the lake itself seems to be devoid of this Spatial Manipulation."
"Hmph!" Roan expected that. "This place was obviously made so anyone wanting to go through it would have to cross the lake."
"I’m absolutely not flying over it," Kentucky insisted once again.
"If just our Dinsional Realm was available..." Rean couldn’t help but sigh. If that were possible, they could send Kentucky flying on his own. Even if he felt he would fall for whatever reason, he could simply enter the Dinsional Realm to save himself and then co out by the twins’ or Celis’s side. ’Sister Orb, can’t you find a way to unlock?’
[Out of the question,] Sister Orb extinguished that idea. [What is locked here isn’t our Dinsional Realm. Instead, the space in this palace was built so that the Spatial Type of Power necessary to enter a Dinsional Realm isn’t even available. Forget about entering the Dinsional Realm. You won’t be able to teleport, open spatial gates, or anything like that. I have to say, whoever built this has paid a very, very high price. I doubt sothing like this could have been built back in Lisan Universe, for example.]
It was different from when the Seals locked their Dinsional Realms. Zangeshu, who was inside the Dinsional Realm, didn’t have anything to work with to make access to the Dinsional Realm possible again.
Rifindio thought about it like the twins did, and the sa did Celis and Kentucky, trying to find a solution. Still, everyone kept a very close eye on the lake. If things really took much longer without a solution, you would definitely see so flying demon beasts or any other type of flying beings attempting to cross it sooner or later, even with the increased gravity. If that happened, and they fell into the lake, everyone would have to turn around and run as fast as possible.
Suddenly, Rifindio noticed the group of Camazotz Bats from the Supre Palace. Since everyone was converging here, it was only a question of ti until they appeared as well. That also proved another point. They didn’t receive any special information from the Universe Owner, as they were trapped at the lake shore as well.
Rifindio only glanced at them slightly, trying to keep his distance. There were around two hundred of them here on the left side of the lake, also unable to continue. The other Camazotz Bats should probably have gone sowhere else, or are on the right side of the lake. Well, the side didn’t matter since the sa spatial manipulation was happening there too.
Suddenly, he noticed Rafa in the middle of that group. Rafa was an Elder in the Space-Ti Realm, so she stayed on the back, obviously here only to follow the orders of the Divinity Realm Camazotz Bats. Rifindio was sure the Camazotz Bats’ Palace issued a mission with quite big rewards for those in the Space-Ti Realm to have co.
The Camazotz Bats then spread around the area, all joining the many other experts who were trying to find a solution to the Spatial Manipulation. Then, Rifindio noticed Rafa sneaking out, using that mont to disappear from sight.
’Hum?’ Rifindio wondered why Rafa would go sowhere else. Moving alone in this place while in the Space-Ti Realm was the sa as asking for trouble. The twins’ group, because of their cultivation, had experienced it a few tis already.
Curiosity took the best of Rifindio, and he decided to follow Rafa, moving in the sa direction she disappeared.
Yet, even though he walked a few kiloters away, he didn’t find Rafa anymore, which left him puzzled. The area was open, and there wasn’t anywhere to hide. Still, she was nowhere.
"Sigh... forget it." He decided to return to the twins’ group, but stopped for a mont.
"Hum?" Just now, he felt sothing not far from him, just a few hundred ters, even though there was nothing there. In the end, he decided to check it, just in case.
