Rifindio flew leisurely in the midst of the crowds, everyone paying close attention to him. By now, everyone already knew about Rifindio’s past in the Palace, and there were so elders and other Camazotz Bats of the sa generation who knew him personally. Most of them, obviously, treated him like shit back then. One can imagine the terror they had been feeling ever since Rifindio appeared.
Of course, considering the number of Camazotz Bats in the Supre Palace, only a very tiny percentage truly knew Rifindio back then, not even 0.01%. So, for the rest, Rifindio’s past didn’t matter much as they did nothing to him. Instead, other than the fear that Rifindio might try to replace the Camazotz Bats, most were actually curious about this new Universe Owner.
This exact mont was one of such curious things. Triaglia was seen as a goddess in the Supre Palace. But, above all, she almost never appeared. It wasn’t anything rare for Triaglia to stay secluded for hundreds of thousands of years. When she did appear, she only talked with the highest elders or important figures, so most of the Supre Palace only knew her through images on the network, never personally.
Rifindio, on the other hand, had been moving everywhere. He did what Triaglia did, leaving pretty much all of the managing part of the palace to the elders. Nonetheless, he didn’t stay hidden away like Triaglia did. He often ca out and even talked to so of the normal Camazotz Bats. Probably it was because of Roan, but he even visited so tea houses in the Supre Palace. He was busy as hell, but he always found ti for that. The guy was a Celestial Realm Expert, had no need for food, and yet, he seed to enjoy those monts very much.
As they made their way to Rifindio’s place, Rean also asked out of curiosity. ’So, how has your life been since you got back?’
Rifindio looked at Rean. ’I thought the first thing you were going to ask was about how I reached the Celestial Realm so fast.’
Rean shrugged in response. ’There isn’t much of a secret there, right? You stayed out for only 910 years. That is nowhere near enough ti for you to comprehend the necessary laws. That said, you must have used a Ti Accelerating Formation.’
Rifindio laughed in response. ’Hahaha! I should have guessed you would say that. You are still an amazing Formations Master, after all. Yes, I did indeed use a ti-accelerating formation... or so Victor said I did. It might look like I stayed out for 910 years, but I actually experienced almost ten thousand!’
Rean was surprised to hear that. ’Almost? You managed to reach the Peak Stage of the Divinity Realm in just that? The Werdlem Empire truly has so crazy resources...’
’Just that?’ Rifindio didn’t think like how Rean saw it. ’Ten thousand was several tis the amount I had lived on until that mont, you know? Well, Master Victor made sure I didn’t get a single second of freedom, so I guess I didn’t exactly have a boring ti.’
’There is one thing I’m curious, though.’ Rean was a Formations Master, so he had to ask the obvious. ’Ti accelerating formations also ss with the laws. It is like you are driving on a road at a thousand kiloters per hour and trying to read the tiny letters by the roadside. It is incredibly difficulty, close to impossible. How were you able to comprehend the laws inside a Ti Accelerating Formation?’
’This...’ Rifindio scratched the back of his head. ’I’m not really sure what they did, but the laws acted normally inside the place I was training. I’ll tell you a little secret. I haven’t really seen anything there that looked like a formation. Victor said I was inside one, but was I truly? Yet, almost ten thousand years had gone by, so I must have been inside one, right?’
Rean pondered a bit. ’I believe so. If not, I’m very interested in learning how to maintain the laws in their normal state within such a place. Anyway, it doesn’t matter now. I’m still impressed it took you less than ten thousand years to go from the Initial Stage of the Space-Ti Realm to the Peak Stage of the Divinity Realm. After all, you can’t attempt a breakthrough into the Celestial Realm before that.’
Rifindio understood it. ’Master Victor prepared everything, including pills capable of temporarily increasing my comprehension of laws. I almost let it slip that Roan told he could make laws pills with effects that lasted forever.’
’Good thing you didn’t,’ Rean sighed in relief. ’Although I wouldn’t be surprised if the Werdlem Empire could also make such pills.’
Finally, Rean and Rifindio arrived at his residence. Well, this was actually truly a Palace this ti, and as one might guess, it was gigantic. Rifindio landed at the front gate, which imdiately opened for him. Inside, hundreds of Camazotz Bats paid their respects.
"Welco back, Master."
Rifindio waved his hand, dismissing them all and walking ahead with Rean.
Rean looked around and easily noticed sothing, this ti speaking normally. "You seem to be having so fun. How have your nights been so fa-"
"Shut up!" Rifindio glared at him. "It is not , alright?! They fucking insisted on this bullshit, and it was the only way of making them believe that I wasn’t going to remove the Camazotz Bats from power. I feel a headache every ti I see this."
"Hahaha!" Rean laughed out loud while slapping Rifindio’s back hard. What was so different here? The Camazotz Bats, that is. There were hundreds of Camazotz Bats waiting for Rifindio in his Palace... all female, young, vigorous, and in the pri age for reproduction! "You say that, but it is not like you don’t entertain the idea, right?"
"I an, this is for the good of your own new race. You are the only Camakawa Bat, so you must bring up so descendants to spread the bloodline. Look, aren’t all of them beauties? Well, they look weird to since they all have the Camazotz Bats’ Features, but they certainly look amazing to you. Say it to your good friend here, how many little Camakawas are on the way already?"
A vein popped on Rifindio’s head while he tried to hold his anger. "Now that I think about it, I haven’t had much of a chance to test my Celestial Realm Powers. Wanna give it a try?"
Rean laughed even more, but he didn’t touch on that topic again. Soon, Rean and Rifindio disappeared in Rifindio’s private quarters.
As for the female Camazotz Bats, they all looked at each other, surprise and shock on their faces. That puny Space-Ti Realm human was the first being they had seen who dared to treat Rifindio, the Universe Owner, in such a way. "Just who is that guy...?"
