Ploto-U quickly recovered. "Frife-Ni, who is this Minokawa?"
Frife-Ni didn’t look very happy. "Well, I was hoping you could recognize him sohow. I made the bloodline test, and it seems like he is my brother."
Ploto-U knew that, he understood that, he saw that, he felt that. He just asked because he found it hard to believe. However, before he could say sothing else...
"Don’t even think about it, idiot father!" Frife-Ni burst out. Seeing his father’s expression and lack of denial, it was a confirmation that he did indeed have an older brother. "What’s the aning of this?! I have an old brother?! Why have you never told ?! Uh?! Where the hell did you hide him all this ti?!"
Ploto-U swallowed the words he was about to tell Kentucky, focusing on Frife-Ni. "You never treated like that."
"I don’t care!" Since Ploto didn’t deny it, now there was no doubt anymore. Kentucky is indeed his brother. "I also never thought you would hide such a thing from , but here we are!"
"Ahem..." Kentucky intervened. "This was supposed to be a touching mont, a reunion of father and son, don’t you think?"
Frife-Ni glared at him. "Would you really act like that?"
"Not really..." Kentucky shrugged. Then, he returned his attention to Ploto-U. "Ploto, Dad, whatever, I found your feather back in Lisan. It helped a lot back then."
Ploto imdiately understood what Kentucky was talking about. "So you got that, uh? Seems like it was worth leaving those preparations behind. Frife-Ni, is anyone hearing us?"
Frife-Ni shook his head. Then, Rean and Roan approached before Rean spoke. "Well, hello there! I’m Rean, and this here is my brother, Roan. We were the ones who found Kentucky’s egg back in Sunkan Planet."
"Ken...tucky?" Ploto obviously didn’t recognize that na. "Was that the na you gave him?"
Rean pointed at Roan. "It’s just that he wanted so fried chicken."
Indeed, Kentucky was a na Roan ca up with at that ti, and that’s because he didn’t want to care about the egg or Kentucky. Thus, he nad the Minokawa like that. In the end, it simply stuck.
"What do you an?" Ploto was as lost as ever.
"Nothing, nothing..." Kentucky didn’t let Rean explain the reasons. "Anyway, Ploto, how did you end up in this Universe? Also... shouldn’t you tell Frife-Ni about where you truly ca from?"
Ploto didn’t know what to say, though. "This is because..."
"Out of the way!" Yet, Ploto didn’t have ti to say anything before his face was pushed aside. The image of a middle-aged woman with Minokawa features appeared right away. "It’s truly you, my baby!"
Kentucky had seen what his father looked like back then, but not his mother, so this was the first ti he was seeing the woman. "Ratria-Ket, I presu?"
"What presu?!" Ratria complained. "I’m absolutely your mother!"
Frife-Ni looked even more unhappy. "Mom, you also hid him from !"
"Oh, right, there is that..." Ratria bitterly smiled. "Ahem... Frife-Ni, this is... err.... your big brother, Ken... sothing."
"Kentucky!" Kentucky didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
"Right, Kentucky..." Ratria looked at Rean and Roan. "I’ll make you pay for selecting such a terrible na."
Rean approached Kentucky, putting his arm around Kentucky’s shoulder. "Ehhh? Is that how you treat the people who took Kentucky’s egg in, trained him, watched him grow, and made him the amazing Minokawa he is today? Such a disappointnt."
Kentucky’s mouth twitched as he asked through Divine Sense. ’What the hell are you talking about? After I grew old enough, you basically bullied to no end! Well, Roan did, to be more specific.’
Rean smiled. ’But that’s also why today you are a Celestial Minokawa, is it not? Roan and I made you so strong that you can easily trash another Minokawa of the sa level. And don’t tell you don’t like this. How many tis have you talked about your own strength with pride, uh?’
Kentucky looked away. ’Well... being stronger does feel good...’
Ratria narrowed her eyes. "What do you want? Why did you bring him here?"
"Nothing really," Rean shrugged. "He said he wanted to co and see his parents, so we decided to pass by this Universe, that’s all. We will be leaving soon. Don’t worry, we won’t ask you a single Divine Stone, you have my word."
"On the other hand," Roan finally spoke, "we t Reliance, and discovered you were brought to this place through the sa thod. We were also in the capsules when we woke up, just in another Universe."
Ploto spoke from there. "Do you know soone called-"
"Soul Gem?" Rean, Roan, and Kentucky completed Ploto-U’s words for him.
"So you do know him..." Ploto nodded as that was obvious sothing only soone from Lisan would know about. "He was the one who brought us here."
"Enough!" Frife-Ni was feeling his discontent build up. "No one is telling anything! What the hell are you talking about? I now understand you didn’t co from this Universe, so start talking!"
Kentucky patted his back. "I told you before, didn’t I. They probably didn’t tell you about their origins, and mine, for a reason. But hey! There is no ti like the present! Am I right, Ratria, Ploto?"
Ratria’s expression went sad. "Won’t you call mom?"
Kentucky shook his head in response. "I an, this is the first ti we are even seeing each other. It just feels weird."
"Don’t be like that," Ploto continued. "We did that to-"
"To save , I know," Kentucky was aware of that. "After all, it is complicated when you lay an egg of a Regal Demon Beast."
Frife-Ni’s eyes opened wide. "So that’s why your bloodline felt so ridiculously strong! You are a Regal Demon Beast!"
"Hahaha!" Kentucky stuffed his chest with pride. "In fact, I surpassed that already. Now I’m- mmmhhmhmmmhm..."
"Yes, stop there," Rean covered Kentucky’s mouth. "That’s not sothing you should talk about in the open, rember? Even a Regal Demon Beast’s presence is already a huge thing, after all."
Kentucky took Rean’s hand away. "Okay, okay, just get away from ."
Ploto, Ratria, and Frife looked at that, puzzled. With the little they heard, it was obvious that Kentucky probably wasn’t a Regal Minokawa anymore. But why was that? "Did you lose your bloodline?" Ploto couldn’t help but ask.
"Hmph!" Frife-Ni didn’t believe it for a second. "There is no way he lost it after what I felt."
