Rean shrugged. "We were also lucky that the Corrupted System’s Sentience was there to give a little bit of our powers back. Well, he wanted to take our system over, though."
Roan wasn’t interested in any of that. "Seems like it has started again. At least we don’t need to hear the idiot orb while it."
Everyone turned in the Control Orb direction, which was shining with Light and Black lights. Sister Orb was once again suppressed, and that only happened while the system was going through a transformation.
Of course, they all expected that. The quest made it very clear. They had to acquire a different system if they wanted their own Celestial Soul System to gain any new abilities. They just got the Emotional System, so their own system was changing as a result. They even wondered if the new upgrades and skills of the system would have sothing to do with emotions.

While the twins’ group waited, things outside went crazy. As they had predicted, the Werdlem Empire was imdiately contacted by the Semi-Celestials, who said Kunprio had been killed.
However, the twins’ group didn’t know about the Level Four Umbra. They left before they could have t the guy.
The Level Four Umbra didn’t just lie down and wait for the Werdlem Empire to send so other Celestial Realm Expert. That said, he made his move, destroying the Great Void Shifter Formation in D33, preventing any help from arriving straight away.
After that... he disappeared.
The Light of the Provider Religion asked the Werdlem Empire what to do, and they were given the blueprints necessary to fix at least one of the older and inactive Great Void Shifters. But even so, that would probably take weeks, and that’s because many High Level Formations Masters joined hands to work on that. They didn’t have Rean’s System to help with all the most ti-consuming processing power, after all.
Those who were not helping with fixing the formation or protecting it were sent everywhere in the Universe to help kill the Mindless Umbras.
Even if the Corrupted System wasn’t there to purge all bad emotions anymore, it wasn’t like everyone would wake up in an instant. It would take a considerable amount of ti, likely several years. Those thoughts and emotions would need to accumulate, and slowly, doubts would appear in everyone’s minds.
At least for the mont, the Light of the Provider still had a firm grasp over the Universe. Thus, they issued a Universal Order to all experts capable of fighting, instructing them to destroy the Umbras. The Light of the Provider gave them whatever excuses while they were still at work.
This was truly a difficult situation for the Empire. After all... Umbras had no need for Werdlem Stones, so it was impossible to block their powers!
