’Stay here?’ Xyrath wasn’t very happy with the idea. ’This is not a place where I can recover well. I cultivate ti, you know? The best places for to recover are places where great ti shifts happen. Once I’m set free, the first thing I’ll do is leave the Divine Realm and look for a Black Hole.’
Celis understood that. ’Yes, but if you do that straight away, you will be pursued. If you are truly as weak as you say, then the Tombassin Sect definitely has the experts to take you down.’
’Hmph!’ Xyrath was confident. ’Even if my overall strength has fallen to this level, capturing is another thing altogether. I can just select a different future and pull it into our ti branch. No one will be able to capture anymore.’
’From what Laiana said, to capture you, one would need to exhaust all escaping possibilities displayed by your Ti Plates, correct?’ Celis asked back.
’So?’ Xyrath didn’t deny that.
’After this long, I refuse to believe the Werdlem Empire and the Tobassin Sect in A1 don’t have a contingency plan for that,’ Celis explained. ’They definitely know that you lost most of your combat power, that all you can do is prevent yourself from being captured. Do you see the problem here?’
’How can preventing myself from being captured be a problem?’ Xyrath still didn’t understand.
Roan knew where Celis was coming from, though. ’Simply put, you can escape, but not hide. They will pursue you nonstop. As long as they pin down your location, you will spend your life bringing different futures into our ti branch just so you don’t get caught.’
’Exactly,’ Celis confird Roan’s words. ’So, Xyrath, do you have a way to escape from that?’
’This...’ Xyrath would be lying if he said he did. ’It would ultimately be a test of resistance. To see who would last longer. Either my different futures would be all used up, or they would give up. But...’
Xyrath said that, but he already knew which one would happen first. The reason was the fact that the Primordial Beasts were imprisoned even though they were already inside the Bubble. There has to be a reason for the Primordial Beasts not to be allowed to roam free.
Besides, if it cos down to resources and personnel, how could Xyrath rival the entire Werdlem Empire? It would be one thing if he had his full power, but that obviously wouldn’t be the case here. Much stronger experts would be on his tail nonstop. Eventually and certainly, Xyrath’s Ti Plates would run out of possible futures where he could escape. At that point, he would be imprisoned again since he couldn’t be killed.
’However, staying here won’t be of any use for ,’ Xyrath insisted. ’I will never recover my strength in this place. Well, there is still ti power here, so it can be used. It’s just that it would take countless years before I could do anything.’
’For that, I have a plan.’ Celis didn’t bring this topic up without a reason. ’Outside, the Future Realm only stays open for a hundred years. After that, the formation of the Werdlem Empire teleports everyone out, and it only opens again nine hundred years later. So, the Future Realm only opens every one thousand years.’
Xyrath imdiately understood. ’I see... I should use the ti when the Future Realm is closed to leave and then co back when it is about to open.’
’Yes,’ Celis confird. ’There is only one problem, your Ti Plates.’
Once Xyrath is put back together, the Ti Plates spread all over the Future Realm will not be spread anymore. They will gather together to make Xyrath’s Chronoblade Serpent’s body. The next batch of experts that enter the Future Realm would obviously notice the disappearance of the Ti Plates, even if the Future Realm were still here.
Xyrath could see the problem with it, but he wasn’t worried. ’There is a way to counter this problem. The reason I can’t put my Ti Plates back together is that they are showing different starting points in the future. So, if I don’t want to be caught by the Werdlem Formation anymore, I can’t allow my Ti Plates to show futures that start at different points in ti. That’s why I’m using your Dinsional Realm to catch up to those different tis.’
’Simply put, as long as I keep all the futures that are displayed in my Ti Plates starting from the sa point in ti, aka the present, the formation will have no effect on . I can spread my Ti Plates all over my Future Realm just before the next opening. Then I wait for the Future Realm to close and leave for another nine hundred years. Repeat, repeat, repeat until I get strong enough. If I find a nice Black Hole, I reckon I can recover to sothing equivalent to a Peak Stage Celestial Realm in three thousand years, tops.’
Celis and the others were happy to hear that. The formation prevented Xyrath from synchronizing the plates, but if the plates are already synchronized, there was nothing to fear. Xyrath only had to be careful after spreading them.
Still, Kentucky thought of sothing. ’Guys... this plan looks good and all. However, if Xyrath leaves, the Future Realm disappears with him, doesn’t it? Various pieces of equipnt at Riquicious Capital use Xyrath’s Future Realm Power to function. Without him, those pieces of equipnt would stop working, too. Not to ntion, I find it hard to believe the Werdlem Empire and the Tombassin Sect haven’t left so thods to warn them of Xyrath’s exit.’
[That’s where I jump in,] Sister Orb finally had a chance to talk. [How long have we been inside the Future Realm? Over five thousand years! I have long since hacked into all the formations here. The only ones I can’t do anything about are the ones that keep Xyrath’s Ti Plates out of sync and that Storm Wall. Those have cores elsewhere outside the Future Realm, so I’m powerless against them. Anyway, there is nothing in the Future Realm capable of warning the Tombassin Sect of Xyrath’s exit.]
’Oh!’ Kentucky nodded. ’I almost forgot Sister Orb existed again.’
[First, fuck you! Second, I can only prevent others from knowing about Xyrath’s escapades. However, I can’t emulate his power with the formations. For this plan to work, Xyrath needs so way of keeping his power from disappearing from this place. Otherwise, even if the formations say he is still inside, the things that rely on his Future Realm’s power outside still won’t work anymore.]
-Ti-soul link?- Laiana suddenly asked through the CD.
And Xyrath nodded. ’What else? It has to be.’
Seeing everyone’s confused expressions, Xyrath explained. ’Why do you think I can detach and spread my Ti Plates? That’s because it allows to create more possible futures from different locations that I can use. Still, I’m always connected to my Ti Plates.’
’Simply put, I can leave a single Ti Plate in this place, which would keep the Future Realm going and wouldn’t cause any changes in its power. The Future Realm uses a very tiny amount of my innate ability’s power, so a single Ti Plate is more than enough. I’m connected to all my Ti Plates through my soul and ti. As long as I’m not too far away, like outside the Universe, I can control it remotely.’
[Then that’s it! We have a plan set to fool the Tombassin Sect and the Werdlem Empire while Xyrath can focus on recovering his power. It’s all thanks to your beloved Sister Orb. No need to ntion it. I’m just that good.]
That was actually the system’s power she was using, but Rean and Roan didn’t ntion that.
Well, no one knows if this plan will work anyway.
