The twins’ group had two plans in mind. The first was to run away. That was the main plan by far. Back in the Divine Military Academy, Roan left behind another relay node in his room. As long as the twins’ group was in the sa Universe, they could enter the Dinsional Realm and use the system’s special teleport formation in there to co out by that relay node’s side. The only problem was that it also ant all their work would be done for, and they would have to start again sowhere else.

The second one, obviously, was to fight. However, for them to fight, Rean would have to be unable to enter the Celestial Soul Dinsional Realm. Such things happened in the past, so there was no guarantee that once Vuccu made a move, he could flee into the Dinsional Realm. The only thing they could do was have Roan, Kentucky, and Celis co out to help.

Rean was ready to defend himself, his intent accumulating on his hands and about to create his Elental Intent Swords. However, he couldn’t see the color of Killing Intent coming from Vuccu, even though the guy’s cold expression didn’t give him much assurance.

"Are you truly the only one who knows how to build and use this Device of yours?" Vuccu asked, still serious.

Rean nodded. "I can guarantee that I’m the only one who knows. If Senior Vuccu has any doubts, I’m willing to sign any Soul Binding Contracts that state I must tell the truth. I believe a sect like Tombassin might have sothing like that to test whether soone is telling the truth or not, even a Divinity Realm Expert like ."

Vuccu’s eyes narrowed. Of course, they did, and Rean obviously knew about it. Back then, Rean heard about the Soul Binding Contract of Second Stratum, so it was natural that there were higher levels of those contracts. It’s just that creating them would probably be quite difficult.

Finally, Vuccu’s expression went back to normal. "There is no need. At the end of the day, you haven’t broken any of the rules of the Future Realm, so eliminating you, the creator of that device, would go against those sa rules. We are not to intervene if no laws were broken, and that includes ."

"However," Vuccu opened his hand, showing the smashed pieces of Rean’s device. "I am allowed to give orders under the na of the Tombassin Sect. From now on, you are prohibited from passing information about this device’s creation thod outside. It won’t be a problem if others know it exists, as long as no one knows how to build one."

"Senior is looking out for the continuation of the Future Realm, correct?" Rean asked, seeing where Vuccu was getting to.

"Correct," and Vuccu confird. "If these devices are brought in masses during the next opening, the entire Future Realm will be wiped out of all the resources it accumulates in the ti space between openings. I’m not allowed to intervene if no rules were broken, but it is also my duty to protect its existence."

"The Future Realm’s formations won’t work anymore if that happens, which ans the Future Realm will have to be closed forever. Preferably, I wouldn’t let anyone know this device ever existed. But for that, you will have to convince your Qufis Alliance people to not open their mouths either."

Rean sighed in relief, the circulation of Light Elent and Red Lightning in his body stopping as well as the intent accumulated on his hands. It was now clear why there was no killing intent since Vuccu didn’t have any intention to kill Rean. His seriousness was about the gravity of Rean’s invention and his request.

Vuccu continued. "I will give you a warning. Your invention will be reported to my higher-ups, and they will keep an eye on the Future Realm next during the next few openings. If soone appears with the sa device you used here, you will be punished. I believe you know what kind of punishnt it is, one that is worse than death."

"Yes," Rean and everyone knew what it ant. "You will cut my connection with the energies of the world forever. It is indeed a fate worse than death for a cultivator like , as I will never be able to cultivate again."

"It is good that you understand." That’s why Vuccu was convinced that a warning was enough. It wouldn’t matter what Rean could gain by sharing the information regarding his device. If his cultivation path was cut forever, no amount of Divine Stones, Veins, or any other kind of resource would be enough to make up for it. In fact, they would all be useless to him. That’s Vuccu’s train of thought, and it indeed would be effective to pretty much the entire Werdlem Empire’s experts.

Well, Rean wasn’t really afraid of that, as he was never bound by the Werdlem Stones in the first place. Nonetheless, Rean was going to keep that promise. First, because his device didn’t really exist, how could he share anything about its crafting thod? Second, even if it did exist, antagonizing the Tombassin Sect would be nothing but stupidity.

Back in the Qufis Alliance, Roan and the others were also relieved that Vuccu did not choose to eliminate Rean. If he did, everything they had worked so hard for would crumble. They would have to show their real cards, and the idea of a new identity would die.

However, Vuccu didn’t stop there. "Let’s leave this aside. Fani, you and your companions have a talent that far surpasses the average experts of this side of the Universe. It is pretty rare for guys like you to appear in these more desolate locations. That said, I have an offer to make."

Rean’s attention was piqued again. "An offer? Considering my status, that is quite unexpected. What would it be, senior?"

Vuccu nodded. "Every fifty thousand years, the Tombassin Sect recruits outsiders to fill the various positions that appear during that ti. We are a sect, after all. Doing recruitnt is how things keep going. The next recruitnt will take place in the Rofus Continent, seventeen thousand years from now. I believe you and those three friends of yours have the ability to fight for those openings. Especially since you four already absorbed your necessary Celestial Laws. That’s a testant to your huge talents and luck."

Rean was taken aback, and so were Roan and the others, who were hearing everything.

Rean couldn’t help but swallow hard. "H-How did senior know?"

"Hahaha!" Vuccu laughed in response. "Now that I had the chance to check your group up close, I was able to detect the dormant Celestial Laws in your souls. One must pay very close attention and know what they are looking for. Otherwise, it is almost impossible to detect, even for . Anyway, I could tell that you all had your Celestial Laws. It beca very clear why the four of you are so close to each other, too."

Rean was a little apprehensive. Doesn’t that an any Celestial Realm Expert can feel them? "No, wait! You ntioned you had to pay very close attention and know exactly what you were looking for. Why did you think we had already absorbed the Celestial Laws?"

"This is the Future Realm," Vuccu explained. "Only the top and most exciting geniuses of the region it covers will end up here. Although the chances were very, very low, I knew I might find soone who had already absorbed their Celestial Laws. The fact that you four really had it was just a confirmation of this obvious fact. Of course, you should count yourselves lucky. Finding and absorbing your own Celestial Laws is still rare, highly dependent on luck and also talent. Do not take this for granted."

"So that’s how it is..." Rean and the others sighed in relief. "Seventeen thousand years, Rofus Continent, is it? Does senior truly think we have a chance?"

Vuccu shrugged. "Who knows? What I can say is that you already have a significant advantage that most don’t have: the fact that you have your Celestial Laws absorbed. There will be more experts in the sa situation as you over there, but the vast majority will still have to find theirs. Here’s a fun fact: Most participants try to join the sect just because of that. The sect is the place you would have the best chance to find information regarding the Celestial Laws that match your affinity."

Rean could only imagine just how many would be there just because of this. "I understand, senior. I’ll talk to my friends, and we will think about it."

Vuccu nodded. "You will not regret. Now then, I’m off."

Finally, Vuccu’s body flashed, and he disappeared without causing a single ripple in the environnt. Rean couldn’t help but feel a chill, though. Vuccu truly disappeared from his senses completely. How could he have fought soone like that?

Yet, he noticed a small blue card left floating behind. Actually, not only one, but four of them.

"Sigh..." Rean turned around. "Let’s go back."
