Two months went by...

Today, Rean finally left the Array Guild’s testing facility. Naturally, Araujo and Dristan were accompanying him. What those two had gained in the past three months since eting Rean could no longer be asured in simple terms.

At the end of the day, Rean was simply far too skilled with Arrays due to his experience with Formations. That wasn’t to say there weren’t others just as talented. There were ascenders who had dedicated their entire lives to formations and arrays back in their respective Great Voids as well. It was just that the majority of cultivators usually didn’t pursue side occupations.

That said, Array Masters willing to teach others were incredibly rare. Most had to prioritize their own growth first, and honestly, no one could really bla them for that. Cultivation in the Celestial Plane was simply too difficult, so experts normally held tightly onto whatever advantages they possessed at the initial stages. Rean himself only taught these two because doing so benefited him greatly.

"So, where are we going?" Araujo asked curiously. He was practically overflowing with confidence at this point. He even felt capable of creating so of the most intricate Level Two Arrays available in the Guild’s Network.

Dristan glanced at him. "Have you already forgotten why he recruited us?"

"Of course not!" Araujo imdiately shook his head. "We are building a new airplane. He needs us because many runes require the manipulation of energy outside one’s body. He can’t do that because he is only an Anchor God. That’s where we co in."

Rean gave a slight nod. "Precisely. That’s why we are leaving. The Guild’s Testing Facility only provides those large rooms for free as long as we work openly without hiding anything. The concepts we are going to use in this airplane of mine are not sothing I want to make public just yet."

He continued, "More importantly, we need space, and those rooms simply aren’t big enough. I’m not building so run-of-the-mill airplane where only I can ride. It needs enough room for at least ten humanoid-sized occupants. Well, first, I will give you the blueprints for all the runes I need you to learn. After that, I’ll leave you two on your own for a while, since we still need more volunteers."

"We do?" Dristan and Araujo hadn’t expected that. "Are you planning to recruit more Array Masters?"

Rean stopped for a mont before pointing behind them. Dristan and Araujo turned around and saw quite a few masters stopping in their tracks, so attempting to hide while others remained completely out in the open. Every single one of them had been following Rean’s group. "If I needed more Array Masters, I could have simply picked a few of those guys."

What had initially started as little more than a joke quickly proved itself to be reality. Dristan’s improvent, but especially Araujo’s, was almost unheard of. Naturally, that attracted countless Array Masters to the front wall of Rean’s testing room. After all, the walls of those rooms had to remain transparent if one wished to use them for free.

Over the past two months, the Array Masters had closely observed Rean’s group working together, especially Rean’s rather ’painful’ teaching thods. Regardless of how ridiculous the process looked, they witnessed firsthand how Araujo’s proficiency with Arrays soared at an absurd pace. It didn’t take long for those sa masters to realize that when Rean struck Araujo and Dristan, he wasn’t rely inflicting pain, but actually correcting their internal mistakes directly.

Before long, many of them began pestering Rean nonstop. They all wanted to be taught as well, but Rean refused every single one of them. He didn’t want too many of his secrets spreading before he finished the airplane first. Only after that would he consider sharing his findings. Naturally, Rean rejected everyone without exception.

Now, all of them were following Rean to see where he was going and what exactly he intended to do next. This was the first ti he had left the Array Guild’s Testing Facility together with both Dristan and Araujo. On previous occasions, he had only gone out with one of them at a ti to purchase materials using the discounts Araujo or Dristan could access as Level Two Array Masters.

Dristan and Araujo nodded in understanding. Rean truly had no shortage of options. Among the people following them, there were quite a few Array Masters who had already been more skilled than Dristan before he began receiving Rean’s ’lovely’ tutelage.

The trio walked through the city, eventually heading toward an estate Rean had rented in one of the cheaper districts. The residence itself wasn’t particularly special, but the enormous yard behind it definitely was. Rean needed a vast amount of open space to work on that airplane.

The other Array Masters naturally tried to sneak a look inside by climbing trees, entering taller buildings nearby, and using similar thods. Too bad for them, though. The mont Rean entered the estate together with Dristan and Araujo, an Array he had prepared over the past few days activated itself.

To those watching from outside, nothing appeared to change. They could still see the yard, the residence, the walls, and everything else. However, all of it was rely an illusion. The Array Masters recognized that fact imdiately. Unfortunately for them, there was nothing they could do about it. Rean had rented the estate legally, and trespassing was naturally forbidden under the laws of the Besgol Region.

Inside, Dristan suddenly noticed sothing. "Oh! So that’s why you asked to make those runes..."

He imdiately recognized so concealing-type runes Rean had asked him to work on during the previous two weeks. Although he had still learned a great deal from the process, it had been obvious that Rean intended to use those runes for sothing else as well. Now he finally understood why.

"Yep!" Rean confird proudly. "It’s a three-layer Array focused on Senses, Sight, and Detection. No one will be able to see anything happening inside, and if soone attempts to invade, we’ll know imdiately. Of course, this is only a temporary asure. If everything goes according to plan, I will eventually make all the blueprints for this airplane public for anyone to use however they want."

"You will?" Dristan and Araujo were genuinely surprised. "Why? You could earn a huge amount of crystals by selling them to the Array Guild."

"The Guilds also exist for the benefit of the Besgol Region. As long as it isn’t sothing harmful, all knowledge acquired by the Guilds is eventually shared throughout their networks. Simply put, selling it would go against my own beliefs," Rean explained. "I also want to help keep this region safe."

Inside his mind, however, Rean silently added, ’Especially now that we know the region might not survive for much longer...’

*Clap!*

Rean clapped his hands before taking several Array Rune Blueprints out of his Spatial Ring. These were the blueprints he still didn’t want to reveal publicly. "Alright, Araujo, you take these. Dristan, the rest are yours. I want both of you to spend the next month practicing these runes. Don’t worry about failures or wasted materials. Just focus on learning how to make them properly. As for , I have sowhere else to be."

Araujo and Dristan were both confident they could now work on new runes even without Rean directly guiding them. Naturally, it would still take longer for them to learn by themselves, but that was also part of the training process. They obviously couldn’t depend on Rean forever.

"That’s fine. But where are you going?" Dristan asked.

"I told you already, didn’t I?" Rean replied with a smile. "I’m going after so new friends."

So ti later, Rean arrived at the Blacksmith Guild.
