Godly Creatures clashed against the battalions throughout the twins’ group’s sector nonstop. However, considering the third defensive line had managed to hold for two entire hours, the fourth line was naturally expected to last even longer.
After all, this defensive line was composed mostly of Late and Peak Stage Anchor Gods, while the number of Aura Gods within each battalion was significantly higher as well.
For the first hour, Sudo didn’t issue a single command.
His elite group also remained still, simply observing the battlefield from behind the fourth defensive line. Their role was to reinforce struggling battalions, and despite the pressure building up steadily, none had reached that point yet.
It took another full hour before the first true signs of collapse finally began to appear.
"Move out!"
The elite group imdiately sprang into action.
Since they were moving behind the fourth defensive line itself, no Godly Creatures managed to obstruct their path. Thanks to that, they quickly arrived at the first battalion requiring support.
The situation there was already quite dangerous.
An unusually large concentration of Godly Beasts had broken through the front ranks, causing heavy casualties among the defenders. Several cultivators had already died, while the entire battalion was being steadily pushed backward.
"Move through the gaps, work together, and kill every Godly Beast that entered the formation!" Sudo ordered imdiately.
However, despite leading the operation, Sudo himself remained behind.
Even as a Zone God assigned to this special contingency unit, he still prioritized conserving his energy as much as possible. Unless the situation beca truly disastrous, he had no intention of intervening personally.
Rean, Roan, and Celis also didn’t rush to the front imdiately.
In Rean and Roan’s case, it wasn’t because they hesitated. Rather, the Aura Gods of the elite group moved ahead of them first. It was obvious many still doubted the twins due to their cultivation level.
As for Celis, he intentionally remained behind because that was where he could support everyone most effectively.
Without hesitation, he returned to his real form once more, though he carefully controlled his size so he wouldn’t interfere with the battlefield itself.
Soon, roots began spreading rapidly through the ground wherever the elite group advanced.
The roots wrapped around the legs of the Godly Creatures just as the Aura Gods launched their attacks. Naturally, the roots themselves weren’t powerful enough to truly restrain Godly Beasts. Most creatures snapped them apart almost instantly.
Still, those brief interruptions were more than enough.
Even the slightest delay during battle created openings, and the Aura Gods took full advantage of them to land killing blows.
Only then did Rean and Roan finally join the fight as well.
Their Crystal Void Intent Weapons flashed through the battlefield, piercing and slashing through the charging Godly Beasts with terrifying precision. Naturally, Celis prioritized supporting the twins above everyone else.
As for the Aura Gods’ opinions?
The twins couldn’t care less.
They simply fought the sa way they always had.
Kill as many Godly Beasts as possible.
For them, every battlefield was another opportunity to accumulate Orb Points.
’Retract!’
Kentucky’s voice suddenly echoed through the minds of Rean, Roan, and Celis while simultaneously reaching every mber of the elite group through their RCs.
Earlier, Sudo had already made one thing absolutely clear: The mont Kentucky gave a warning, everyone was to retract their Celestial Senses imdiately.
No hesitation.
No questioning.
It was a direct order.
Regardless of whether so still doubted Kentucky or not, none dared ignore the command.
The elite group wasn’t the only one reacting, either. Sudo had already arranged for Kentucky’s warnings to be relayed directly into whichever battalion they were supporting at the ti.
As a result, the entire battalion instantly retracted their Celestial Senses as well.
*CAW! CAW!*
A dark mist cloud shot across the battlefield like a black teor. The Three-Eyed Raven remained visible for only a few seconds before disappearing into the distance once again.
’Release!’
Kentucky’s second warning followed imdiately afterward, and countless Celestial Senses spread back across the battlefield.
Naturally, those few seconds without sensory perception placed the battalion at a disadvantage temporarily. However, that was infinitely preferable to suffering soul backlash from touching the Raven directly.
The defenders quickly stabilized their formation once more while the elite group resud slaughtering the invading Godly Beasts.
As for the Godly Spawns, the elite group mostly ignored them unless they happened to stand directly in the way. Godly Beasts remained the priority targets at all tis.
The support operation lasted barely a minute.
Yet by the end of it, the abnormal concentration of Godly Beasts had been completely wiped out.
Aside from a few light injuries, all seventy mbers of Sudo’s elite group remained unhard. The battalion’s defensive gaps were restored, and the frontline stabilized once more.
"We are done here. Retreat!"
Sudo didn’t waste a second.
"Move! Another battalion already needs support!"
The elite group imdiately withdrew and resud traveling behind the fourth defensive line. Thanks to that, they reached the next endangered battalion less than ten minutes later.
The slaughter began again almost instantly.
[Godly Beast Kills: 939... 951... 974...]
"We are done here! Move out!" The mont the situation stabilized once more, Sudo pulled everyone away again.
*Zush! Zush! Zush!*
Slightly golden, blood-covered Godly Crystals began flying nonstop into the hands of the elite group mbers. The Aura Gods imdiately absorbed the crystals to recover their energies while moving.
By now, everyone understood exactly where those crystals were coming from.
Throughout the battles, they had repeatedly seen Celis’ roots piercing through the heads of dead Godly Beasts before pulling the crystals back toward their allies.
As a result, many cultivators couldn’t help glancing at Celis from ti to ti. He distributed the crystals with remarkable precision, ensuring those expending the most energy recovered the fastest.
However, the support provided by his roots remained the most shocking part. After all, Celis couldn’t control external energy yet due to his cultivation realm. Everything he achieved ca purely from physical manipulation and timing.
Yet despite that limitation, the impact he created on the battlefield was enormous. Anyone with eyes could tell he had already beco one of the central pillars of the elite group after only two battles.
Sudo observed everything with a faint smile.
When he claid every mber had been selected for a reason, he truly ant it. Kentucky’s warning ability was undoubtedly the most important role strategically. However, Celis’ support wasn’t far behind at all.
anwhile, the Aura Gods were also slowly beginning to change their opinions regarding Rean and Roan.
At first, they had mostly dismissed the twins due to their cultivation.
Now?
That was no longer possible.
The re fact the twins could use Intent Weapons at the Anchor God Realm already bordered on the absurd. But more importantly, their actual combat power wasn’t inferior to the Aura Gods around them in the slightest.
Whether that strength ca from their Intent Weapons or not no longer mattered.
The twins weren’t holding the group back.
If anything, when fighting together, they had already beco so of the deadliest killers within the entire elite unit.
[Godly Beast Kills: 993... 1006... 1029...]
Another two-hundred-kill threshold had been crossed.
Another Orb Point was added to the system.
Now the twins’ group possessed twenty-seven Orb Points in total, and that number would continue growing steadily as the elite unit moved from battalion to battalion across the battlefield.
