Ashley’s teeth were clenched as she spoke, but before she could finish, Tangze Asuka smiled with satisfaction and then raised her Handcane towards the sky.
“Boom!”
In an instant, a powerful energy, capable of changing the colors of the heavens and the earth, burst forth from Tangze Asuka’s Handcane.
Ashley took a deep breath, feeling weightless, and embarrassingly landed on her backside.
The imnse impact swept away all the accumulated snow on the nearby ground, cracking the earth’s crust and the frozen rivers on the ice plains. At that mont, Ashley truly believed the words of Tangze Asuka.
Suddenly, she felt a little dizzy because, at this mont, the light erupting from Tangze Asuka’s Handcane seed to have form, stirring up auroras like waves in the cloudless sky.
Then, the stars and the Milky Way above seed to be gradually pulled by Tangze Asuka’s power, moving ever closer to the tiny earth below.
“Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!”
Ashley was terrified, nearly wetting herself, and kept retreating in fear that the sky would fall and crush her.
But amidst this dazzling display, she couldn’t tell if it was an illusion, she seed to see unreal knots made of golden light…
She didn’t know what those knots were, but she felt like they were calling to her, while constantly surfacing images she couldn’t clearly see…
But in her extre fear, she had no mind to study what the knots and images represented; she just trembled on the ground, screaming, shouting at Tangze Asuka,
“Ah! Damn it! Ah! Help! Help! We’re gonna die! Oh my god, Tangze Asuka! Ah! The sky is falling!”
And Tangze Asuka, who had been standing still all along, watched Ashley crawling on the ground like a caterpillar, even wanting to dig a hole to escape, and couldn’t help but cover her mouth to hold back her laughter.
In fact, she could have retracted the Handcane a long ti ago, and it wouldn’t have caused such a commotion.
But making this foul-mouthed Little Guy uncomfortable might be an amusing thing?
Seeing that she really couldn’t take it anymore, estimating that if it continued, she’d pass out or lose control.
Finally, with a face full of smiles, Tangze Asuka gently withdrew her hand, taking back the brilliantly shining Handcane.
“Gone!”
“Ha… ha… I… I can’t… the sky… oh my god…”
Beside her, Ashley was nearly passing out; the commotion was too overwhelming, almost causing her heart to leap out.
She still cautiously lay on the ground, like avoiding a school shooting, raising her head slightly to observe her surroundings, afraid that sothing more terrifying than bullets would appear…
But everything had cald down, except for Tangze Asuka, still standing in place, her cloak fluttering gracefully and elegantly.
“Ha… I… I…”
“Look up, Ashley, my friend has arrived. Would you like to say hello?”
“Fr… friend?”
Ashley hugged her head, rubbing in the snow for a mont, then, following Tangze Asuka’s amused suggestion, slowly lifted her head to gaze at the sky.
The next mont, an enormous Moon, both seemingly illusory and real, dominated all of her field of vision, gazing at her as if it was both a re step away and a world apart.
It was such a bright, enormous, yet chillingly cold Moon…
“Moon… Moon…”
Tangze Asuka smiled slightly, retracting her Handcane into her arms, also gazing at the sky, softly saying,
“Yes, that is indeed the Moon.”
