They escaped so fast, they soon vanished from Anna’s sight.
Anna lay on the ground; without even wiping off the dust from her clothes, she got up, clenching her teeth as she looked at the ss-strewn street, unwillingly watching the direction of their escape, unable to choke out a single word.
A subordinate ran over and inquired with a bowed head,
“Lady Anna, should we pursue them…”
“Pursue what?
Do you want to blow the lid off our search for the demi-human?
Nobody cares inside Snake Head Street and nobody cares outside on Saint Nali Street either?
Get the hell out and lift the carriage, clean up and let’s head back!”
“Yes…”

Her lips curled slightly, revealing a faint, secretive smile.
Once the subordinates had retrieved the horses and set the carriage upright, her expression instantly returned to the cold indifference of before, silently climbing into the carriage, visibly fuming.
