The curse entity was hit by this sudden attack, its entire black body spinning several tis in mid-air as it retreated a distance, enraged and roaring in the sky.
But this was not without a cost.
Death Light was produced by the intense burning of Helldor’s soul. At this mont, the soul of Helldor combined with the consciousness replicated by the Cardinal controlled the chanical body, thus controlling that body together, which led Fisher to say, "You are the true Helldor."
His mories, his consciousness, his unwavering commitnt to Valentina, were all gradually exhausted at this mont as his soul burned.
As Fisher had summarized when soul theory was initially proposed, a person’s mories and consciousness are all attached to the soul. When the soul is consud, isn’t the energy it released in so way the value of these imasurable, intangible things?
"Szzz..."
Steam crazily spurted from Helldor’s mouth, distinct from the white fog was its scorching temperature that blurred his mories as the steam dispersed.
He suddenly couldn’t rember his past experiences, what family he ca from, why he entered the Turand Family to study magic, the nas and faces of his long-deceased parents and family.
"Roar!"
The curse struck again from behind, Helldor’s chanical body was almost flipped over.
The power still wasn’t enough!
Bright Death Light burst forth from Helldor’s body again, smashing hard into the body of the curse, causing countless black feathers to fall from the curse entity in the Spirit Realm. Upon closer inspection, these feathers were not black but seed more like an uncountable amount of blood piled together, so dense that it solidified from blood-red to pitch black...
As the second wave of soul Death Light blood, Helldor suddenly couldn’t rember his na, couldn’t recall many of his known friends and acquaintances, couldn’t rember the magic knowledge he had studied and loved all his life, and could not recall the affections and emotions of his life.
It was as if a multi-colored paper had miraculously faded back to pale, with only the purpose and direction of the paper remaining.
He only rembered his perseverance and obsession, rembered his "granddaughter," who he treasured.
"Roar!"
Was the power still not enough?
Within the imaginary snowstorm, only this thin thought remained in the pure thoughts of Helldor, yet he didn’t know why the power was insufficient, unsure what the threat before him actually was.
"Szzz..."
But even so, his soul inadvertently began to burn again, striving to release one last Death Light.
This ti, it was only his final obsession that burned.
But right as it was about to ignite, in his line of sight suddenly appeared a completely unfamiliar back of a human male. The man had black hair and held a simple copper chain in his hand, sparkling with a faint light that Helldor could no longer understand.
Unfamiliar with magic and others, his faceless face only moved slightly because of a slightly opened photo in the necklace. The photo featured a young girl in a wheelchair with a poor complexion; beside her stood an amiable old man who was quite familiar yet unrecognizable.
"Valentina..."
Fisher didn’t respond. His silhouette protected the most precious part of Helldor’s soul as impenetrably as a chasm. The chain in his hand suddenly erupted with a deadly black light fluctuation, the intensely reactive magic power fiercely levered the World Resonance. In Fisher’s hand, a horrifyingly powerful force gathered.
In the next second, as this terrifying strength transmitted to a newly gained ring in Fisher’s palm, engraved with strange characters, the ring seed to awaken so function, rendering Helldor’s magic into waves of bizarre fluctuations that Fisher had never seen before.
"Baku! Woah! Spit it out!"
Fisher, incredulous, watched as the Eleven-Ring Magic "Erasure Light" in his hand suddenly magnified countless tis, filled with an ominous aura. He couldn’t understand what was happening now, but under the moonlight, those little eyes watching the show seed to sense sothing extrely terrifying, blinking and screaming as they fled from this spot, not allowing Fisher to sense them anymore.
They... those Chaos Species, were they scared?
But it was not fear of the Erasure Light in his hand, but rather, it seed, the aura on the ring in his hand?
"Roar!"
The Erasure Light had already ford in Fisher’s hands. His arm that held the magic felt as if it was being scorched, bringing intense pain, yet he bit down and didn’t move, just staring intently at the curse before him.
Suddenly, the surroundings beca quiet, except for the frenzied curse entity still lingering in mid-air.
Even the curse felt the threat from Fisher, its white eyes turned to him, transmitting a fierce pressure from the Spirit Realm.
This terrifying pressure, laden with the curse, could easily crush many living creatures existing in the snowstorm. Other people present clearly couldn’t withstand fighting against the curse for so long, yet Fisher still stood upright in front of it.
