When Tangze Asuka woke up, the trick that Hooked Kiss played on her had mostly worn off. Yet, she continued to sit dazed, clutching her knees in the corner of the cage, occasionally pinching her knuckles hard until every joint turned red.
She remained in this dazed state for several long minutes, only then realizing she had traveled through ti and space, no longer in school, not even in Japan or on Earth, but all alone in another world.
In these quiet minutes, an overwhelming sense of loneliness and helplessness engulfed her, and she began to silently cry, her mind blank with no idea of what to do next.
Though her sobs were soft, neither Fisher nor Hooked Kiss were ordinary beings; they both sensed her distress but neither spoke. Fisher kept his eyes closed, ditating, while Hooked Kiss rested his chin, staring at the ceiling lost in thought.
Ti passed undetermined until the sudden sound of the prison door opening broke the atmosphere in the small cage. With the "clank, clank" that ca with it, Tangze Asuka hugged her legs tighter, and Fisher’s eyes snapped open, both he and Hooked Kiss turned to look at the entrance.
"Hello, did you sleep well last night? I brought you so food... Hmm? When did a little kitty appear here?"
The figure at the door was the golden-haired Angel from yesterday, whom Fisher rembered was addressed as "Helair" by another Angel.
Her beautiful face wore a lazy yet enchanting smile. She spoke with a warm attitude, but even hearing her playful tone, Tangze Asuka shrank like a chick, not daring to look at her after seeing the vast, real expanse of space and the pairs of blue and gold wings hovering behind her, which prompted the Angel to cover her mouth, laughing more amusingly.
She gestured with her hand, sending several fruits and foods flying into the cage. Hooked Kiss thanked her with a smile and casually picked one up to eat, while Fisher wasn’t very hungry and didn’t move. Tangze Asuka, likely too scared, made no attempt to eat either.
"Don’t be so stubborn. I brought these from far away... Besides, if you don’t eat now, you might not get another chance later."
Fisher noticed the Angel had no intention of closing the door, imdiately realizing that the Angels were about to deliberate on how to handle them as prisoners.
Based on what he heard from Emhardt and Elliog, these Angel Species weren’t considered friendly. As Mythical Species, they wouldn’t have any sympathy for Humans, making this journey potentially very dangerous...
Still, the Angel before them was undoubtedly from the Mythical Species, her Rank terrifyingly high, surpassing even the aura of those he’d encountered at the base. This was not a being lacking intelligence; neither he nor Hooked Kiss were at the Mythical Rank. Together, they couldn’t match her strength with one hand, and Emhardt was still in their grasp. Even if he could escape, he couldn’t leave him behind.
Thinking this through, Fisher no longer hesitated, lowered his head, and began to devour the food she tossed over. While eating, he set so aside forcefully tossing it to Tangze Asuka next to him, saying,
"Hurry up and eat, don’t just stay curled up there."
"Mm... Mm, thank you."
Tangze Asuka slowly reached for the fruit Fisher passed, a large green fruit she had never seen or eaten before. After hesitating for a mont, she brought it to her face, nibbling the soft pulp bit by bit.
"Good, good, eat up quickly. Once you’re done, we will depart; I’m taking you to the Seventh Heaven. The Angel Leaders await your arrival there."
Hooked Kiss, after eating several fruits, raised his hand with a bitter smile and spoke to the gleaming Angel before him,
"Excuse , Angel, I just wanted to witness how Angels practice healing. This shouldn’t be a serious cri, right? Can’t you release us?"
Helair maintained her charming smile, tapping her chin as she responded,
"Sorry, releasing you isn’t up to . But to my knowledge of the Holy Land’s Law, intruding into the Holy Land is a serious cri, and Lord Raguel and Lord Uriel seed quite upset. What’s wrong, missing your ho in the Ocean?"
Hooked Kiss’s smile grew more wretched, but he sighed, replying,
"It’s just that I didn’t tell my wife I’d be gone for so long before leaving, she will worry about my safety."
Helair said no more as she stepped back outside the cage, making it so Fisher could no longer see her. They only heard her speak,
"Finish eating and co out, I’ll take you up. Hurry now."
As Fisher chewed on the sweet fruit in his mouth, he constantly pondered solutions, yet every path led to death. Escape was impossible; to the Mythical Species, a hundred of him were no match for them, so he had to approach it from another angle.
