Adrian watched Annie crying herself back to sleep. Morning ca, she showered, ate and went to school.
He was following her watching over her to see if the leprechaun was nearby. Adrian blad himself.
He believed the only threat were vampires and the leprechaun was just a coincidence but he certainly did not expect this.
Leprechaun were known as tricksters but that was not entirely true, in actuality they stole luck from people.
They can also give luck to others which is where the myth of them granting wishes ca from.
Adrian had initially thought it had just stolen a bit of Annie’s luck but instead that bastard did this.
Annie was like a ghost, even when she spent ti with her friends it was like she was not even there.
The night of that day, a group of vampires appeared around her house but Adrian was so terrified of leaving her he didn’t move even an inch.
They turned and walked off but didn’t try anything after seeing him there. He waited for a more powerful vampire but none ca.
-------------------------------
On the top floor of the organisation building sat a group of people around a table. There were four separate groups.
Three mbers from the organisation, two from the church, two from the vampires and four led by ggie.
" Morgana, you know as well we do if that creature lives, everybody will be at risk. Not even counting those monsters.
If the Axions resurface, war and death is all that will follow, so why do you insist on protecting it so much?"
Sevana asked with a voice filled with justice. ggie didn’t respond to her, she watched the reactions of the others.
ggie knew this so called intervention eting was a farce, what she wanted to see was who were her enemies.
’ I did not expect to find her here.’ her eyes darted towards Chang’e who noticed and smiled softly.
" Ke ke ke, be careful little blood girl, sister here is not as kind as you might have been told."
The dark witch with long hair warned Sevana in a chilling voice but Sevana knew that was not a warning but a threat.
In truth she was also terrified of ggie, the last ti they fought, it took both her and her partner to push ggie back.
If they had to face her while she had the help of those two other witches and a warlock, they were bound to lose.
" He he he." Chang’e giggled, " You lot are more foolish than I thought you were, you’re asking a mother to abandon her own child.
What parent would do such a thing, knowing little Morgana here, she would kill all of you for much much less."
ggie still didn’t say anything, she watched the then arguing amongst each other. The church was also quiet.
She did need them to say anything, their stance had been clear a long long ti ago, she knew they would consider Adrian an evil to be erased.
Of course she couldn’t bla them, Adrian’s existence was a ticking bomb waiting to explode.
He was a magnet of destruction itself but love was very powerful. Even knowing all of that.
ggie would let the world burn to ashes than let him die. She would even slaughter the entire witch covenants if she had to.
’ I need to retrieve the other fragnts and regain so of my strength, then I can to go to hell to find the demon.’
She ignored the discussion and planned her next moves. After nearly an entire hour of this facade she finally stood up.
" If you’re all done then I have only one thing to say, any who tries to lay their dirty hands in him, will die."
As soon as she said that she turned around and walked off. Her three comrades followed after her.
The dark witch looked at Sevana and made a slitting throat motion then jogged out of the room in a very cute and feminine run.
The two high priests stood up, " Well then, we shall take out leave, we will pray for all of your safety."
The vampires followed suit and left after the church, leaving the agents alone. " She has regained so of her mories."
An old man leaning on a sheathed sword spoke. The old man looked like he was sound asleep.
His na was Deva, an old agent who had been alive for a very long ti. He was a very mysterious figure within the organisation.
" That was always bound to happen, she was foolish to try and cheat fate in the way she did.
And now, she will lead them to her precious child like a compass, how pitiful."
" You sound like you pity her lady Chang’e, do not forget, a war may co because of her selfishness."
The last agent in the room spoke, he was a giant man in a massive suit of armour with a red cape behind.
This was lord Belvord of Belvord clan of the round table. A powerful man with imnse physical strength.
He was also rigid and unyielding in his beliefs. If he believes you were a threat, he would kill you without question.
The only reason he didn’t attack ggie was because the other two warned him not to or a battle would’ve broken out.
" She is pitiful, to go so far only to go nowhere, she had sacrificed so much and yet she’s destroying all of that herself."
Chang’e sighed again when she rembered what Morgana had done. The old man hiccuped.
" I believe she will also seek out the naless demon to retrieve the last fragnt."
The old man’s words made Chang’e even more sad, she was a mother herself and understood Morgana.
" She will go out to seek more power to protect what she holds dear not knowing that is the very sword that will take it.
How could that not be pitiful? It’s quite a tragic tale if you ask ." Her words made Belvord shift uncomfortably.
" I do not agree, it should be an honour to sacrifice yourself to save many, yet she would risk the entire world for one.
She is no different from the demons to my lady, she deserves no sympathy." He growled.
