Capítulo 1498: Chapter 1185: Black Market (First Update)

Not long after, Su Mo returned to the command room of the Star Destroyer, Grey Fin.

Salile saluted and asked Su Mo, “Commander, should we set sail now?”

Su Mo took a deep breath and asked, “Salile, have you heard of Black Wogri?”

“Yes, it’s not a good place.”

“Tell more.”

“It’s a special gathering area located in the Dostan Star Sea. Simply put, it’s a black market, teeming with all kinds of shady characters. It includes wanted criminals, refugees, vagabonds, rebel army mbers, and people from the Fallen God Sect, among others…”

“Such a place, shouldn’t it have been eradicated by Star Ring City long ago?”

After hearing this, Su Mo showed a slightly surprised expression.

“Commander, you may not be aware, but normal black markets were indeed eliminated by Star Ring City long ago. However, this black market is backed by the Third Legion; it’s a place for them to gather intelligence and accumulate funds.”

“So it’s the Third Legion’s doing all along.”

“Commander, are you planning to go there?”

Salile asked.

“Yes, the person we’re looking for has slipped into that place.”

Su Mo nodded in response.

“Commander, if you’re going there, it’s best not to wear your uniform?”

“Isn’t it the Third Legion’s place?”

“It is, but the Third Legion doesn’t have much control there, and it strongly resists officials from Star Ring City.”

Salile explained seriously.

“Alright, I understand, head to Black Wogri imdiately.”

Su Mo didn’t waste words and imdiately ordered Salile.

“Yes!”

Salile promptly began to maneuver the ship to set sail.

…..

Three days later, the Star Destroyer, Grey Fin, arrived at the Dostan Star Sea, where asteroids road everywhere.

Occasionally, wandering asteroids would crash into the energy shield of the Star Destroyer, Grey Fin.

“Commander Su Mo, Black Wogri is just ahead. I’ll have soone pilot a Class 3 light starship to take you there,”

Salile said to Su Mo.

“Alright!”

Su Mo nodded in agreent.

Before long, a small light starship detached from the Star Destroyer and flew towards the starry sky ahead.

Not long after, Su Mo saw a small planetary fortress made up of various chaotic tals, looking quite dilapidated.

Su Mo’s first impression was that this small planetary fortress seed like an old relic, giving off a rather fragile feeling.

However, he didn’t pay much attention to it, as it had nothing to do with him. He would leave after finding the person.

Before long, Su Mo’s ship reached the designated port, unexpectedly bustling with more ships than he had imagined.

After paying so Star Coins, Su Mo, dressed in black linen clothing, smoothly passed through customs and entered Black Wogri.

However, after entering the gate of Black Wogri, Su Mo distinctly felt several different gazes fixed on him. He couldn’t help but glance sideways to secretly observe the situation.

He saw people dressed in tattered clothing sitting on either side of the pathway to the floating elevator. These people didn’t look like ordinary refugees.

Su Mo didn’t pay much attention and continued walking forward.

At this ti, a person dressed shabbily approached from the opposite direction, mysteriously asking,

“Brother, looking for goods? I have so top-quality stuff here.”

As he spoke, he didn’t forget to open his coat, revealing bags of white powdery substances.

The creator, Swallower, reminded Su Mo in a deep voice, “Low-quality Miluo Flower powder, a Class 3 controlled psychotropic drug.”

Su Mo ignored him, brushing past him directly.

After a few steps, a short, nimble person approached, revealing yellowed teeth, and said,

“Brother, looking for ladies? Freshly arrived? Guaranteed to be lively and vibrant, discounts for bulk purchases.”

Su Mo squinted at the person.

The man ahead shuddered involuntarily, stepping back instinctively.

Su Mo continued walking forward, and after Su Mo left, the guy spat on the ground behind him and cursed harshly,

“Damn, acting all high and mighty.”

Soon after, Su Mo entered a rusty floating elevator.

The elevator was crowded, and soon the elevator doors began to close, emitting creaking, harsh sounds, swaying as it ascended.

At this mont, a dirty hand stealthily reached over from behind.

Just as it was about to reach Su Mo’s pocket, Su Mo firmly grasped the wrist.

“What are you doing, let go!”

A youth with a scarred face shouted in pain.

At this point, in the elevator, several accomplices took out daggers, their eyes revealing malicious intent.

Others seed unimpressed, stepping aside.

Su Mo’s eyes narrowed.

A few minutes later, the elevator doors opened.

Su Mo walked out nonchalantly, leaving a few figures lying on the floor of the elevator.

Others who were watching hurriedly left as well.

In his mind, Su Mo communicated with the creator, Swallower, saying, “It’s quite chaotic.”

“They probably just want to see if they can take advantage of soone unfamiliar,”

replied.

“True,”

Su Mo thought for a mont and nodded.

Soon after, Su Mo arrived on the street. The houses on either side weren’t uniformly constructed; many were makeshift, with a dley of goods being sold and people in strange outfits along the way.

“High price for various second-hand and new weapons, low-cost wholesale of all ships and weapons.”

“Fresh pig tickets, anyone want so?”

“Selling, top-grade stone tablets.”

Su Mo walked past them, seeing all sorts of random things.

There were portable weapons, blueprints, even models of starships and chas, alongside potions in an array of colors.

He even saw so special cages, with no creatures inside, but each had a tag hanging inside.

These tags were so-called pig tickets, cheap labor.

He could see people wearing cloaks or masks negotiating in low voices with those selling pig tickets.

Just by observing for a mont, Su Mo attracted the vigilance of so individuals, who glared at him fiercely.

Their violent eyes were full of warning.

Uninterested in ddling, Su Mo continued walking and found that many stalls along the way had slabs for sale.

“So many people selling slabs?”

He said in surprise.

“What’s so strange, they’re all fakes,”

the creator, Swallower, scanned and replied in a deep voice.

“Even fakes, people still want them?”

“That’s because the forgers also inscribe valuable things on the slabs, like chaotic technologies or ambiguous information.”

“Such tactics in play too.”

Su Mo stopped in front of a slab-selling stall, squatted down to carefully examine the slabs. He found that the material of these slabs was synthetic, with a peculiar texture. They also appeared to hold historical significance, the forgery was well-done.
