It had been weeks since we had been in Bronix City, trying to play it safe on our mission to eliminate the underground network controlled by The Harlem. He caught whiff off and then my team, putting a target on our backs. Killing one of the commanding demons was one thing, then killing his second in command and another he wanted to kill us. Many of his n I had killed, and many others are going to lose their lives

Now we are prepping for an attack against him.

The others had mixed opinions on how we were doing it, and I suggested one thing. Go in and take down everyone he has and himself once and for all. "Are you crazy!" Dante shouted. He was uneasy with the idea, I looked at him intensely and asked, "Do you have a better idea, Dante?"

His face changed from surprise to thinking like an idiot, "Well, no," he said. I took a deep sigh and spoke to them. "We are going in for the attack," I paused to allow the realisation to settle in. "It's a matter of ti before he finds this place and tears it down. We had too many close calls already, it's ti to end this are you with !"

They looked very hesitant, but Marie gathered the courage and responded, "Yes sir!" The others followed her example.

In the Corporate Sector we stood in front of the tallest building in the whole city. It towered over seven hundred and eighty tres tall, scraping the clouds above.

Today was cloudy with a chance to rain, the team and I had looked over the schematics of the building and The Harlem's office is fairly high, – about twenty-four storeys – which ant a long climb up. But this building is very secured.

A team of security on each floor between ten to twenty of them. That made things cumberso for us, but it was nothing. As for the building inside of the building it was splendid from the looks of it outside.

Before arriving to the building, the team was split into three. Marie and Dante, Veronicah and Donny then by myself. Marie will be out looking for their weapons in the building itself; Dante would destroy them. Donny was to find their servers and clean everything leaving them with no files for the successor to follow. If anyone were to stop them, Veronicah would protect him until he was done.

The underground Network was going down. The final job was for to take down the mastermind off all this and make sure he doesn't live to see another day.

I looked up the tall building with windowpanes as the outer walls. 'No more holding back.' I spoke under my breath, clutching my fists.

Inside was grander to see than looking from outside. With intricate and beautiful chandeliers that dazzled the white ceiling. The floor was laid out with pearl white porcelain tiles that reflected the light from outside and from the chandeliers with little scattering of the tiles into our eyes. It was glossy as well, but the building was the breath-taker.

Millions may have been spent on its construction but then it was from The Harlem. He had the resources and we were limited with what we had. A stark contrast that seems familiar, but I make odds work in my favour.

There was a reception desk that stood before the elevators and to the right of the building were escalators to get up to the floors with ease. Many employees and visitors walked in and out of the building, past us not even paying attention to the world around them.

A sharply dressed woman looked at us and called for security without any provocation. No one ca. She received a call and hung up the phone. The woman who looked to be in their mid-thirties and still looked stunning called us over to the desk. She crossed her legs and arms in her formal suit stared us down with her brown eyes and ponytail. He lips parted, "He wants to see you on the twenty-fourth along with them," she spoke in an irritating tone.

I was thrown aback and thought this situation was amiss, The Harlem invited us in. The others were felt the sa way about the situation. The woman sighed and snapped her fingers rudely toward and said, "The boss doesn't like for his guests to make him wait. So, I appreciate it if you stop fucking around and get going."

Keeping my cool was difficult but manageable. The others had more self-control for such bitches, and my tolerance was nearing its limit before it split. 'I have enough patience to lust months, but she nearly drained it in a minute.' I thought to myself. I didn't want the sa interruption as before, so we went into the elevator.

"You better wash that fucking mouth, bitch!" Marie warned.

We took our discussions in the elevator to co up with sothing better, but it wasn't fruitful as we didn't co up with best-outco conclusions. "He has sothing up his sleeve. Letting us in without taking us out on spot is unlike him, unless he doesn't want to ruin his image." I told them.

Everyone had an idea that was plausible, but it still didn't make sense to us. It was only a matter of ti before we found out why.

Marie looked at each of us nervously. "Maybe he just wants to kill us in private," she spoke keeping her eyes on the elevator floor. "What if calling us up to his office is the only way to get rid of us and hide his cris?"

All eyes were on Marie; Dante had his head tilted to the right biting part of his inner lip. "She might be right on this one. We may know him as The Harlem and how bad he his but what about those who don't know that?" Dante paused to think. "Killing us in front of people could risk his status and his public view."

Ding! Sounded the elevator. We arrived at the floor and when the doors opened up, we were greeted by him and his goons with their guns pointed at us. He was dress in lavish brown suit with a polo-neck underneath. He smirked at our defeat. I saw on his eyes that he thought he had won this battle.

We slowly walked out of the elevator and followed him and his n, with a few lagging behind to keep an eye on us. I was just behind him with two n in military grade armour and guns. These were not ordinary security. However, he had genetically modified soldiers he can call upon at any ti. Why did he not have them with him?

Going around the floor, we went into an elevator only he and trusted n could access. We went down the elevator to sub-level ten, deep in the ground. Once the elevators opened, we walked in an area that looked familiar and then I rembered. It was when I was held captive and tortured here.

We left so tight corridors that had dim lighting. He led us into a lab in the sub-level floor, and it had pods in them. "What is this?" I asked after looking around the lab.

He stood still, looked down to the floor, sighed and chuckled. "You were never the most intelligent leader, Ravedos," he said casually. That was enough to feel an emotion invoked in and it was a fear for those around . He turned and grinned looking at my face in disbelief.

"Have you ever felt devastation of seeing your loved one and they don't even know who you are even after the hardship you went through?" he asked .

I only glared at him. "I guess you don't know. You never had to go through that. Your father, the Demon King, your brother Darius the second Prince of Hell didn't go through all of that. You had it easier than most of us." He spoke.

Placing his fingers against each other he snapped them. Then a reeking sll enveloped the room. The pods remained filled with an unknown liquid with specins growing inside of it. A demon ca into the lab badly equipped lab and snatched the armoured n away from us. Their screams filled the room as they were being eaten by other demons around the room.

The team jumped into fight mode waiting for sothing to jump us. My gaze focused on sothing I thought was human. "Demicus was like a brother to ," I said in caution. "Don't you utter his na, you traitor!" He shouted. "You took away my brother and gave a nobody in his body! That day I wanted to do what the pig couldn't take over this fucking world. But I had to do it smarter. Oh! Would you look that! The residents are starved for flesh. Kill them!"

The demons had surrounded the room and attacked. The Harlem was leaving the room, and I had a decision to make leave my team or go after him.
