Now reading: Chapter 1244 An Obstacle from Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100, a Fantasy novel by ShinGotLost.

The sphere of comprehension left by the Void Monarch was his only shortcut. Without it, he would have to stumble through countless experints, countless ditations, countless failures to grasp even the smallest fragnt of the fifth-level concept.

Without the sphere, mastering Spatial Dominion could take tens of thousands of years in the Dinsion of Ti.

The chamber grew colder as Max sank deeper into ditation.

The runes on the walls flickered.

The space around him softened, then distorted.

And the power of the Void Genesis Art surged like a quiet tide as Max's consciousness reached toward the hidden sphere of comprehension within the Art.

This was the mont everything would change.

If he succeeded, he would rise above the world's limits. If he failed… the world might fall before he ever got a second chance.

Max drew in a steady breath and let his consciousness sink deeper into the Void Genesis Art. There, at the center of that infinite darkness, floated a small sphere of light.

It looked simple. Peaceful. Almost harmless.

But Max knew this was no ordinary sphere. This was the sphere of comprehension left behind by the Void Monarch—containing the seed of the fifth-level concept of space, Spatial Dominion.

He extended his consciousness toward it.

The mont he touched it, a wave of resistance hit him.

The sphere felt… distant.

It was right in front of him, yet it seed impossibly far away. It responded to his presence, yet it behaved as though it did not belong to him. It flickered with recognition one mont and turned utterly foreign the next.

Max frowned deeply.

Even with all his experiences, even with the Void Monarch's inheritance flowing through him, the sphere felt vague—like a whisper he couldn't fully hear.

He focused harder.

Space twisted. Ti trembled. And yet the sphere refused to stabilize.

He pushed deeper.

The sphere flickered again, its form warping in and out of his perception. Sotis it appeared crystal clear, glowing like a miniature star made of pure spatial laws. But in the next heartbeat, it turned hazy, blurry, intangible—almost as if it was slipping through his fingers and fading out of existence.

"This is strange…" Max muttered inside his sea of consciousness.

He tried again.

He extended his spiritual sense around it, enclosing it like a cocoon. The sphere vibrated gently, recognizing him… then imdiately shifted, becoming faint again, as if a transparent wall separated them.

It felt like trying to grasp water with bare hands.

No matter what he did, it slid away.

Why?

Why was the fifth-level sphere so unstable… when the fourth-level sphere of Spatial Collapse had been unbelievably clear and solid?

He rembered vividly—Spatial Collapse had revealed itself to him like a perfectly carved sculpture. Every detail was precise. Every law was distinct. The comprehension flowed into him like a river.

But this fifth-level seed?

It felt broken.

Blurry.

Incomplete.

Max's brows tightened further. There was only one logical explanation.

"…Is it because of this world's broken laws?" he wondered aloud.

It made sense.

This world's ascension tunnel was shattered. Its spatial domain was damaged. Its conceptual laws were crippled.

The world couldn't sustain or support a fifth-level concept. Let alone guide soone to comprehend it.

The sphere of comprehension existed, but the environnt around Max was rejecting it. Even though the sphere originated from the Void Monarch, the world itself was interfering with its clarity—twisting, blurring, suffocating it.

This was making the task incredibly difficult.

Max clenched his fists.

He could feel the sphere resonating with his Void Genesis Art. It wanted him to grasp it. It wanted to be understood.

But every ti he reached for it, sothing unseen pulled it away.

"It's like it's with … and not with at the sa ti," he murmured quietly.

He steadied his breathing.

This wasn't going to be simple. Not even with the Void Monarch's help. Not even with a thousand years inside the Dinsion of Ti waiting for him.

The broken world itself stood between him and the fifth-level concept.

Max closed his eyes again, tightening his resolve.

He would have to break through the world's rejection.

Force the laws to accept him.

And drag the fifth-level concept of space into himself… even if the world refused to let him.

As the years slipped by inside the Dinsion of Ti, Max continued to ditate on the flickering sphere of comprehension. Bit by bit, he absorbed fragnts of understanding. Tiny insights. Fleeting monts of clarity.

But none of it ever settled properly. None of it ever ford a stable foundation.

Sothing felt wrong.

Not slightly wrong—but fundantally wrong.

It was as if every step forward carried the weight of an invisible resistance, a constant drag that pulled him back. No matter how deeply he focused or how many tis he reconstructed the laws in his mind, sothing continued to interfere with the way he approached the fifth-level concept.

Max opened his eyes and exhaled slowly.

He stopped cultivating entirely.

He didn't force the sphere. He didn't push the Void Genesis Art. He simply sat still and allowed his mind to retrace every step he had taken.

"Sothing I'm doing… is slowing down," he murmured.

He replayed the mont he mastered the fourth-level concept of space. It had been simple—almost natural. The sphere the Void Monarch left behind had been sharp, complete, and resonant. His soul had responded imdiately to it. Everything aligned.

So why was the fifth level so different?

What changed?

He followed the thought backward.

Back to the Heavenly Lord Secret Domain. Back to the path of ti. Back to the mont he severed his existence from the flow of ti.

Then realization struck him.

"Different?" he whispered. "Right…"

His eyes sharpened.

"This body of mine is no longer bound by the flow of ti. When I comprehended the fourth-level concept of space, I had not severed ti yet. I was still connected to causality. My body was still flowing normally with the world."

Now, however, everything was different.

He had stepped out of ti.

His existence no longer followed the world's rhythm.

But that raised a troubling question.

"Why is the comprehension of space slowing down because of this?" Max frowned, confusion filling his mind.
