Now reading: Chapter 1536 Max's Worries! from Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100, a Fantasy novel by ShinGotLost.

Lucia continued, "That drop of blood was then sent into the mortal realms. It was done deliberately. The Primordials could not directly descend into the mortal realms due to the restrictions of existence. By sending it there, the devil ensured that even in death, it could not be easily erased."

She let out a slow breath. "After that, all major forces of the Divine Realm beca involved. First rate forces, second rate forces, and even third rate forces sent their people to search for that drop of blood. It was not just about power. It was an order that ca from the Primordials themselves."

Her eyes turned toward Max again. "I had heard about all of this… but I never knew where that drop ended up."

A brief silence followed.

"And now you are telling ," she said quietly, "that it appeared on your planet."

Max nodded.

"It almost destroyed everything," he said, his voice calm but heavy with mory. "If things had gone slightly differently, my entire world would have been wiped out."

The air around them grew tense.

For the first ti, Lucia did not imdiately respond.

She frowned slightly, clearly rethinking everything she had said earlier. What Max described was not a small exception. It was a direct contradiction to the ideal order she had just explained.

After a few monts, she spoke again, her tone more serious than before. "If that is the case, then your concern is not unreasonable."

Max did not reply, but his silence was enough.

Lucia then looked toward the distance, her thoughts moving quickly as she considered the situation. "If you are truly worried about your world," she said, "then we can head to the location where the crack in space appeared and investigate it ourselves. At the very least, we can confirm where it leads and whether there is any risk involved."

Max's eyes sharpened slightly.

"That would be good," he said, nodding without hesitation.

He had no intention of letting another situation like that unfold again.

It had already happened once.

And he knew better than anyone how close his world had co to destruction because of it.

This ti, he would not leave anything to chance.

"Let us go et a friend of mine," Lucia said as she began walking again, her tone returning to a calm and practical rhythm after the heavy discussion they had just shared. "If we are planning to explore Orion properly, then we will need as much help as we can get."

She glanced back at Max and Isabella as she continued. "She knows this planet far better than most. In fact, she has spent a significant part of her ti here for reasons I never fully understood. If there is anyone who can guide us through Orion safely, it is her."

Max nodded slightly and followed without questioning her decision. Isabella also walked alongside them, her expression thoughtful as she processed everything that had been said so far.

The three of them moved through the camp once again, blending into the steady flow of cultivators who filled the area. The atmosphere remained tense, but now that they had a direction and a purpose, their steps felt more focused.

As they walked, Lucia suddenly spoke again, her curiosity resurfacing as she looked at Max from the corner of her eyes. "What happened to that drop of blood in the end?" she asked. "A drop of blood from a true devil is not sothing that can be easily destroyed. I doubt even the Primordials could erase it completely."

Max's expression did not change as he replied calmly, "I sealed it and sent it into the void. If everything went as planned, it should now be drifting sowhere in the void of the mortal realms."

Lucia nodded slowly, accepting his explanation without doubt. From her perspective, that was indeed the most reasonable course of action. Sothing like that could not be destroyed, so isolating it in the endless void was the safest possible solution.

"I see," she said. "That is probably the best you could have done."

However, there was one thing she did not know.

Only Max knew the full truth.

As they continued walking, Max's thoughts drifted inward for a brief mont.

The mory of that mont surfaced clearly in his mind.

When he had killed Mark, everything had changed. The golden crown had reached its peak corruption under the influence of the devil's blood. In order to restore Acaris and stabilize the situation, Max had no choice but to use the power of the crown itself.

It was during that process that he made his decision when he realized even with the power of the crown he couldn't destroy the drop of blood.

Because of this, he ultimately decided to seal it.

He had locked it deep within his Dinsion of Ti, isolating it completely from the outside world. With the assistance of the crown's power, he had suppressed its influence and used that suppression to cleanse the corruption within the crown itself.

It had been a dangerous gamble.

But it had worked.

Max's eyes remained calm as he walked, revealing nothing of this truth.

He understood one thing very clearly.

That drop of blood was not sothing that could be handled lightly.

Even now, sealed within his dinsion, it remained a potential threat.

At the sa ti, it was also an opportunity.

As for why he had not been affected by the corruption when others had nearly lost themselves, Max had already co to his own conclusion.

The connection between the golden crown and his identity as a Dinsional Keeper had allowed him to bypass the corruption to so extent. Instead of being consud by the devil's will, he had accessed the crown's power directly, suppressing the corruption rather than being overtaken by it.

It was a delicate balance.

One that could have easily ended in disaster.

Max did not speak of any of this.

So secrets were better left buried.

Ahead of them, Lucia slowed her steps slightly as they approached a quieter section of the camp, one that was far less crowded than the central area.

"We are close," she said.

Max lifted his gaze, his focus returning to the present.
