Now reading: Chapter 1784 - 1785: Decision from Divine Beast Creator, a Eastern novel by Salted fish on a fishing rod.

The sudden appearance of this prison device made Feng Yuan wonder what exactly was hidden within the depths of the Lake Hurmasha, and as for the information here, he was unsure whether to hand it over to the archaeological team after recording it.

"Are you worried that they might accidentally trigger sothing here and cause big trouble?"

Veronia curiously looked at the conflicted expression on Feng Yuan’s face and asked. Hesitatingly nodding, Feng Yuan scratched his head and said

"The main issue is what this place is imprisoning. If it’s the Dragon Shadow, perhaps it’s not that dangerous. But if it’s suppressing sothing even more dangerous, isn’t that..."

"In the Mythical Era, there wasn’t anything stronger than the Divine Beings and Divine Beasts, but your concerns aren’t entirely baseless. However, the information here will naturally be reported, and I don’t think you can truly stop them."

Veronia laughed and said that even if Feng Yuan didn’t speak up, the staff mber would definitely report the information. Furthermore, the archaeological team wouldn’t ignore Feng Yuan’s opinion, he thought, nodding.

"That’s true. Since that’s the case, I’ll talk to them and advise them not to initiate investigations in this area casually. However... what exactly is this place used for?"

Turning to look at the enormous stone wheel, Feng Yuan was utterly puzzled. Agunas flicked its tail and said

"Perhaps it really is suppressing sothing, but the only strange thing is, could Kastantos’s technology achieve sothing even the Divine Beasts cannot?"

"Impossible. Their technology isn’t much different from Mitradite’s. Besides, this device, like Karlon, belongs to the derivative technology of the Rock Peak Treasury, and essentially, isn’t part of Kastantos’s top-notch weaponry. It may be able to contain Divine Beasts temporarily, but not for long periods."

Glaring at Agunas, Veronia said irritably. In any era, Divine Beasts were among the most powerful. Kastantos didn’t have the capability to use secondary technology to contain Divine Beast level beings for extended periods.

Xiao Ji walked up to the stele and curiously examined the inscriptions on it. These inscriptions weren’t from the Golden Feather Dynasty or Tianpan Nation. With just a glance, Veronia could confirm they were Kastantos’s unique inscriptions. Their purpose was similar to spells, used to operate the prison device.

Walking behind Xiao Ji, Feng Yuan patted it on the back and said

"What are you looking at?"

Xiao Ji pointed its wing at the inscriptions and made so sounds to Feng Yuan. Without needing translations from Agunas, Feng Yuan could guess what Xiao Ji was saying. Examining the inscriptions, Feng Yuan rubbed his chin and said

"These things seem to be used to maintain and realize the functionality of the prison? But why do the inscriptions for the portals look a bit off?"

Veronia wasn’t too surprised that Feng Yuan could understand Kastantos’s inscriptions, considering his abilities. Perhaps Feng Yuan learned these inscriptions through unknown and ungraspable ans, or maybe he simply guessed based on the energy flow depicted in the inscriptions.

However, when Veronia saw the functionality regarding entry and exit within these inscriptions, she paused and said

"This doesn’t seem like a prison. There are many problems with the inscriptions regarding imprisonnt, and there’s no restriction on entering or exiting. That ans even in a special space, one can move freely, so what exactly is this..."

"Wait, are you saying that the prison device doesn’t restrict anyone inside from leaving? Can this still be considered a prison?"

Agunas was startled and asked, bewildered. Feng Yuan, on the other hand, seed to have thought of sothing and rubbed his chin, saying

"Indeed, it cannot be considered a prison. But this isn’t right either. This thing is more of a different space rather than a prison. So, does this an the mysterious Dragon Shadow now resides in the alternate space created by this device?

But this also isn’t correct. If that’s the case, then what is the situation with the Kastantos ruins?"

If for so reason the entity doesn’t wish to leave, then the Kastantos ruins are apparently a better choice than the different space. No matter how it’s adjusted, the source of the different space is still the Kastantos prison device. Moreover, Feng Yuan suspects the reason for the entity staying here is probably the ruins.

But this cannot explain the purpose of the Golden Feather Dynasty in creating the different space. After so many years, whether the different space is still stable is uncertain. After all, the device’s level of perfection seemingly can’t be compared to the Rock Peak Treasury.

"As a dwelling place, this thing isn’t really qualified. But aside from this, are there other possibilities?"

Veronia looked at the steles, puzzled, while Feng Yuan thought of sothing and asked

"If these devices cannot bear the load, might there be a crystallization effect similar to Karlon’s?"

"Of course. Karlon was actually a special result caused by the energy leakage from a special space. If that’s the case, whether the different space still exists is unclear."

Nodding, Veronia said with an ambiguous expression. If the different space is the demand of the mysterious Dragon Shadow, why would it let the Golden Feather Dynasty build this device instead of the summit of the Sacred Mountain?

Though Veronia knows a lot about Kastantos, it has never seen the materials used in these things. Even for the Rock Peak Treasury built by the Golden Feather Dynasty, it cannot be sure if it was constructed using the sa materials as Kastantos because the destruction of the Mythical Era also led to the disappearance of many materials.

After making a round in the hall, Feng Yuan patted his belly and said helplessly

"For now, it’s hard to understand. I guess we have to wait for Lorraine Tower and the others to co to get specific information from the depths of Lake Hurmasha. As for here... do you think they can investigate this place?"

Seeing Feng Yuan looking at him, Agunas flicked its tail and said

"If it’s those experts, under the protection of Divine Beasts they should be able to do it. Otherwise, it’s best to wait until the investigation of Lake Hurmasha is over before coming."

Although it doesn’t particularly care about those humans, a lot of wild Spirit Beasts live around Jin Sha City, and most of their habitats are near Lake Hurmasha. If a major change occurs there, it might affect them.

If Agunas had not noticed how careful the archaeological experts were with these excavation works, it might even propose temporarily banning entry into this area. After all, this bizarre prison device isn’t just used to maintain the prison within Lake Hurmasha; both Agunas and Feng Yuan can sense the imnse energy contained within.

Even if the device fails and doesn’t trigger drastic changes within Lake Hurmasha, the high-intensity energy itself is enough to severely damage the environnt of Jin Sha City and the surrounding region.

"Forget it, I’ll record a video first. As for whom to send and how to investigate, it’s better to leave it to them to decide."

After thinking it over, Feng Yuan said, Agunas’s response was similar to his thoughts. Compared to Agunas, he trusted those experts wouldn’t act recklessly, since if sothing went wrong, they would be the first to suffer.

The further report from the Yellow Sand Well appeared in the hands of the archaeological experts, which gave them more headaches. Although there was quite a lot of information about the ruins, it would be dangerous if mishandled, as sending a team of experts to investigate?

They simply couldn’t spare enough manpower right now. Just dealing with the Rock Peak Treasury had them busy enough. After serious consideration, they decided to have the team leader take along a few well-known experts for a preliminary investigation and then seal off the area, waiting until the investigation of the Rock Peak Treasury was completed before proceeding.

After throwing the materials to the archaeological team, Feng Yuan left the Yellow Sand Well area. Veronia followed behind Feng Yuan and curiously said

"Did you actually just co out to play today?"

"What else?"

Rolling his eyes, Feng Yuan replied irritably. Looking at Xiao Ji leading the way ahead, Veronia said with a strange smile

"But today you provided them with two pieces of important information. Should I say you’re lucky, or..."

"I’m not so bored as to give myself work during relaxation ti. But this ti, it might be Xiao Ji’s luck at play."

Giving Xiao Ji leading the way a glance, Feng Yuan said irritably. While he could achieve certain purposes through manipulating luck, he was out to unwind. How could he possibly give himself trouble for no reason? Although Xiao Ji heard Veronia’s words, it didn’t make a sound because it still needed the other’s help for translation, chasing it away would not be good.

It’s not surprising to Feng Yuan that Xiao Ji led them once more to the special snack street. Aside from certain special restaurants, this is probably where Jin Sha City’s culinary delights are most concentrated.
