"Tsk! I’m going to give this damn ga a poor review!"

While running with Annie, Feng Yuan complained discontentedly, while Najia softly humd on Yang Hongzhi’s shoulder. The song fortified Xiao Ji and the others, providing continuous power recovery. However, no matter how strong Najia’s abilities were, they couldn’t fully restore all battle consumptions.

Behind them, the Man-Eating Bear King was shattered once again. But, just like before, it reford within a short ti in the azure glimrs of light.

Feng Yuan hadn’t expected this place to be so troubleso, leaving no room for choice. Although he could forcibly erase the Man-Eating Bear King conceptually, doing so might impact the real-world Tashimar Fantasy Circus series story, so he had to give up.

Moreover, he wasn’t sure whether doing so would cause adverse events. After all, being left with no choice likely ant that the only way forward was to follow the escape route to reach the Muddy River.

Xiao Ji and the others’ attacks could only pause the Man-Eating Bear King temporarily, stopping it was difficult. Even if they created an impassable natural barrier, the Man-Eating Bear King would mysteriously refresh behind them. Xiao Hui planned to carry everyone, but the narrow escape path restricted its movents.

Though capable of launching assaults standing still, Xiao Hui had to proceed in its smaller form while running with everyone.

Luckily, while the Man-Eating Bear King couldn’t be killed, it posed no danger to the group. After running for quite so ti, Feng Yuan, feeling tired, spread his dark wings to advance by flying alongside Annie.

"What on earth is this place..."

At Maomu Academy, everyone remained tensely focused on the forest below. While the sky-covering trees blocked their view, the commotion from the Man-Eating Bear King allowed them to deduce what was happening below. After all, the trees being felled by the Man-Eating Bear King couldn’t conceal its enormous body.

Although the distance made it hard to discern clearly, everyone was aware that the gigantic black bear was likely immortal. Otherwise, Feng Yuan’s group wouldn’t have changed course, and at this point, the investigating students matched the appearance of the Man-Eating Bear King with the storyline.

Nobody expected that after the spatial alteration, they would end up in the opening area of the entire Tashimar Fantasy Circus series. The endless void crossing the forest not far from where Feng Yuan and his party encountered the Man-Eating Bear King further proved that in this area, the only way to advance was to follow the storyline.

The entire forest followed a space-saving design, only creating parts associated with the story. Only the forest where they once encountered Maomu Second Middle School seed odd.

Because pushing forward from the relevant storyline reveals that location predates the starting point, aning after the story begins, only areas related to the plot are created, but before the storyline, a complete domain seems to have been crafted.

This seed odd. They couldn’t understand what exactly the purpose of such design was.

After understanding the plot, they could also deduce where Feng Yuan and his group aid to go — surely towards the Tashimar Fantasy Circus. However, there appeared to be nurous troubleso zones to traverse first. Captain Yang yearned to take action himself, for the commotion below signified sothing more than a trivial matter; yet...

Without the protection of Divine Beasts, he would only add chaos by going, feeling an unsated bitterness, knowing those supposedly ant to protect were yet...

"How long is this path?"

Flying along, Feng Yuan occasionally threw attacks at the pursuing Man-Eating Bear King. Although Xiao Ji and the rest had grown weary from continuous battles, their growing familiarity with the combat style allowed them to block it more efficiently.

Yet, if rest remained elusive, problems might still arise. Of course, this scenario changed if Veronia intervened. However, asking Veronia would be tough even for Feng Yuan unless it was willing.

"It seems we’ve arrived~"

Suddenly, their view broadened, revealing rushing waters crashing against rocks with loud roars. Stunned by the flash-flood-like river, Feng Yuan asked,

"Is this the Muddy River?"

"Should be, though I’m unsure how we’ll cross~"

Veronia nodded, casting a glance at the disappearing Man-Eating Bear King, as Annie began her routine introduction. Annie’s tips matched Feng Yuan’s team’s knowledge — apart from the fact that the Muddy River was larger and more turbulent than expected, there seed nothing particularly special.

"Do you think it’s dangerous to fly over directly?"

Feng Yuan asked Veronia, who snorted lightly and replied,

"You can try. I doubt this place would leave such an obvious hole."

"Tsk! Xiao Ji, don’t ss around! I’ll try it."

Seeing Xiao Ji wanting to attempt, Feng Yuan stopped it, knowing they’d just had a major battle. If there were more dangerous defenses above the Muddy River, Xiao Ji’s reckless attempt could easily backfire.

With a wave of his hand, nine small shields circled around him, Feng Yuan flew towards the sky above the Muddy River. Just as he reached over the river, a sense of danger flashed by. He abruptly dodged sideways, narrowly avoiding a fast-moving water arrow shot past where he had been.

Though avoiding a direct hit, Feng Yuan still sensed the powerful force of that water arrow. Turning towards where it ca from, he saw a bizarre-looking silvery fish erge from the water, eerily turning towards him.

The silvery fish completely ignored the rapid currents, even the flood striking it felt like smashing onto a rock in the river.

More silvery fish began surfacing then, prompting Feng Yuan to quickly retreat. As he withdrew from above the river, the group of silvery fish simultaneously disappeared back beneath the surface.

"This thing is quite formidable."

Surveying the restored state of the Muddy River, Feng Yuan scratched his head and remarked. Seeing Xiao Ji eager to try, Feng Yuan quickly grabbed it, saying,

"Don’t act rashly; you can’t withstand that thing’s attack."

Despite not being hit himself, Feng Yuan could estimate the power of the water arrow. At a Legendary Level of attack strength, if a group attacked, even Veronia would end up in a ss if caught off guard.

"So how do we cross the river now? Are we supposed to leap across using the rocks?"

Yang Hongzhi questioned Feng Yuan, keenly aware they needed to cross this river. Flying across was no longer viable, even Yang Hongzhi, without firsthand experience, deduced from the water arrow’s resulting strength that it possessed at least Legendary Level power.

"The original story suggests making a raft for crossing. But do you think using a raft here is feasible?"

Veronia spoke up, being the only one familiar with the original material, with matters like these falling under its explanation. However, upon hearing this, Feng Yuan furrowed his brows. Passing this flood-prone Muddy River using a raft?

Setting aside whether the raft would even hold up, the sheer current speed suggested they might get swept away imdiately upon launch.

Yet without the raft, he wasn’t confident any alternative ans of crossing wouldn’t backfire. Because he’d already discerned one fact: this tricky place followed rigid rules. Operating outside its pre-set guidelines often caused issues.

Like Annie, whose interactions, though clumsy at first, at least provided so feedback. But after a few reckless attempts, Annie stopped responding to their dialogue, seemingly transforming into an emotionless narrator.

Feng Yuan didn’t know if their actions caused this effect, but he believed it highly probable. Simply put, should they cross the river ostentatiously again, maybe they could muscle their way through, but such heavy-handedness could exacerbate this buggy "ga" with more severe issues.

He hadn’t forgotten how fragile the Abnormal Space was, that any error they induced might start collapsing it. That could beco a significant problem.
