After a pause, she twirled in front of Chen Xiao and asked, "Is the dress pretty?"
"It’s definitely pretty," Chen Xiao said with a straight face. "The dress makes your butt look smaller."
"Go to hell!" Xu Yanran punched him hard on the arm. "What do you know? This young lady has what’s called a peach butt! Sothing plenty of people would kill for."
"Too much muscle isn’t always a good thing. A man could get... clamped in half," Chen Xiao teased.
Xu Yanran gritted her teeth. "Then why don’t you co and find out if I can clamp *you* in half?"
Bantering back and forth, they got into the car. Xu Yanran drove directly to a large local departnt store and imdiately began a shopping spree. Clothes, a watch, a belt... she got him a complete set. Then, she swiped her card with a flourish.

The couple was dumbfounded. Who brings their best guy friend to a blind date? Isn’t that just asking for trouble?

Xu Yanran ignored her and said to Xu Kang, "Brother, let’s go in."

"Wait, wait, wait—" Liu Ya quickly stopped her. "Why leave? You’re already here! Just go in! Once he’s standing next to Young Master Xiao, he’ll realize what he really is.
