On the deepest floor of the labyrinth laid a near-spherical object that had a diater of a hundred or so ters. Its surface shimred like a polished crystal, but it appeared to be alive with shifting hues that seed to breathe and pulsate with an unbelievable amount of energy. Its aura was practically sacred.
At this mont, its sacred aura was disrupted as a calamitous aura encompassed it.
A small purple-robed figure appearing to be no more than eight years old descended and looked at this wonderful object with gleaming crimson-gold eyes. She appeared to be full of awe as she seed entranced, her pupils reflecting a glorious erald.
In fact, the outer layer of this object displayed a multitude of colors, each representing a Law of this realm. It was a blend of a rainbow and many other colors that would entrance anyone who saw it, as they would think of it as a gem of the world. She could also sense a fiery nature from it. However, the color of the erald was highly visible. Considering the realm was rich in wind energy, it was understandable but Calypsea didn't know such things.
She was simply srized, taking a few monts to admire the succulent dish.
At its heart, the realm core radiated an iridescent glow. It exuded a glorious brilliance, its light refracting through the nurous other energies and painting the hall in a spectrum of epheral hues.
Waves of energy pulsed outward, resonating with the labyrinth. A few defensive chanisms activated as they directly absorbed power from the realm core, but it was a pity that Calypsea's Apocalyptic Littlenova had already lted the formation discs. They couldn't fully activate and were instead wasting energy.
As Calypsea stood before the realm core, she could feel the heavy yet invigorating air that was charged with the vitality of an untold number of years. She didn't know how long this realm had existed but knew it could be hundreds of millions of years. After all, a Lower Realm's lifespan amounted to a billion years on average. Nurous factors could change that, but it was mostly a billion years.
As long as the Ethereal Lumina Tree remained standing, the realm core would not lose its vitality.
Calypsea licked her lips. Taking a deep breath of the aromatic scent in the air, she pounced on the Realm Core.
The mont she grabbed the Realm Core by hugging it, the crystalline surface began lting from the purple-black apocalyptic flas burning it.
"Aaa- num~ nmum~"
She opened her mouth and took a huge bite of it repeatedly, consuming the lted essence as though it were honey.
"Mhmm~"
She humd in delight as it went beyond what she had eaten in her life. Its taste was practically heavenly, leaving her reveling in paradise. She touched her cheek and heaved a satisfied sigh before taking another bite again.
She was very fast in consuming it. It was as though she was drinking a beverage as her flas easily lted the core. However, the Realm Core was quite big, being a hundred-ter diater spherical structure. If one stood before it, they might not even see it curve. That was how big it was.
It may take hours for Calypsea to eat it all.
However, she was in no hurry and didn't panic.
The surroundings instantly began engulfing in apocalyptic flas. It was not hers. It was the realm's own apocalyptic flas! They were directly spewed by the Realm Core itself as though it was poisoned!
"W-What is this!?"
Realm Master Thousand Windblades barely made it to the underground before a purple-black fla ca rushing at it as though it was ejected by a volcano.
He managed to dodge just in the nick of ti. That wisp of purple-black flas crashed into the thick underground wall, beginning to eat through it and spreading far and wide.
"…!"
His expression turned unsightly as he couldn't sense that spirit's aura on it.
From that, he instantly knew the destruction of the realm had begun.
"Stop!"
He scread and tried to descend, but the hall was full of apocalyptic purple-black flas. Stripped of his power, he couldn't do anything. He didn't dare to descend through this sea of apocalyptic flas for fear of being burned alive by this terrifying hot tempest.
He barely understood why this was happening.
He didn't know that with the destruction of the Realm Core having begun through being poisoned by the apocalyptic flas, Calypsea kickstarted the destruction of the realm.
Normally, even a Peak Empyrean wouldn't be able to move a Realm Core, much less harm it. If there was anything capable of harming a Realm Core, that energy should be one of destructive and apocalyptic nature.
Even Realm Master Thousand Windblades knew that Destruction Laws was nearly the only thing known to harm a Realm Core. But even then, the Realm Core itself had extre regenerative properties. One could forget about harming it even if the Ethereal Lumina Tree wasn't present. If they carved out a chunk, it would quickly recollect itself and heal.
If the Realm Core didn't et the end of its lifespan, then one could forget about harming or taking advantage of it in any way. It was practically invulnerable. Even if it was dying, it was difficult to take advantage of it.
That was why the Realm Concoction changed the perception of many Realm Masters. They began having second thoughts about how they should treat their realm since it was now finally seen as a resource.
"Stop! I'll give you anything! Just stop what you're doing, you vile spirit!"
Realm Master Thousand Windblades scread miserably as he pleaded. There were almost tears forming in his eyes as he felt unbearable pain. The connection he possessed with the Realm Core was continuously fading. The prowess it provided him now was rely one level higher when it should be three levels higher.
Now that he wasn't at the limit of the Third Layer, he could perform breakthroughs but doubted it would help since if he exceeded it and accidentally hard even a single plant life, he would be saying goodbye to this realm and be thrown out into the vast void.
"If you don't stop, I'll kill your friends!"
His eyes eventually turned bloodshot, and he looked above where he sensed that pink-robed man's aura. She finally caught up to them. However, he turned hesitant because that woman would now be more powerful than him.
Unless he made two continuous breakthroughs, he could forget about going toe to toe with her.

He instantly made a breakthrough as he unleashed the imnse power his body had withheld ever since he reached a bottleneck two million years ago. If it weren't for the Realm Core's additional prowess filling his body, he would've long made it to Level Nine Autarch Stage and ascended.
Now, his undulations soared. From the Level Six Autarch Stage, he stepped into the Level Seven Autarch Stage.
"Damn you!!!"
He roared into the skies and rushed above when abruptly, a vine smacked his body at lightning speed and sent him flying into the purple-black sea of flas.
"Mhmph~ That's what you get for making fly around."
Lereza took deep breaths as she tried to catch her breath. Chasing them wasn't easy at all. But as she saw the state of the city and sensed the strange black flas that didn't belong to Calypsea spread across the underground region, she couldn't help but think this was good as she smiled proudly.
Their Calypsea really could end realms just as they theorized. She was their natural bane ever since she was born!
