"Mother!"
Styx, Noctis, and Ragna ran out from their classes, out of the ti chamber. They pounced on Nadia, embracing her from all sides and crying their hearts out.
"I missed you so much~"

"Thankfully, you’re safe. Please don’t leave us again..."
"We won’t do anything bad... we promise"
The three of them shed tears, cried, and sniffled, causing Nadia to also tear up as she kept apologizing. She was both sad and happy to see that her children had grown. They now appeared like they were thirteen years old, certainly reached a height that could be considered a teenager, their features becoming more striking and defined.
Thinking back, she had been gone for four years already. She had left at the start of the third year of the Covenant, and it was now already the seventh year.
"Mhmm... I’ll stay... I’ll stay with you, my children, till your father leaves this place. There should be plenty of ti..."
"Mmm~"
Styx, Noctis, and Ragna kept nodding. Although they had grown and their father visited more tis than the others to keep them company, they still missed their mother badly. They had a strong bond with their mother since she was always with them since childhood, except in classes until she left. They were like three little puppies always following her around.
Ragna was particularly sensitive since he was like the third and spoiled child in their circle.
"Don’t cry..." Nadia’s eyes were moist, "Mother brought back souvenirs. They should enrich your cultivations."
"Oh...?"
Styx, Noctis, and Ragna looked at each other. Only then did they also realize that their mother’s familiar scent was also different. Then they realized that her hair and the symbol on her forehead had also undergone a change. To them, their mother coming back alive was more important, so they imdiately pounced without looking at her. Now that they looked at her again, they could sll that her scent had changed significantly.
"Mother, you have evolved?" Noctis’s brows raised.
Nadia nodded with pride.
She showed them her majestic form, causing the three of them to turn excited. Nadia then took them on a ride as she carried them all on her back, making the mansion echo with laughter and joy. Evelynn and the others ca out to see them, their smiles plastered on their faces.
Later, Nadia gave them the Nether Springs Essence, which would help them boost their cultivations faster and even increase their prowess since they were feys and not magical beasts.
Davis watched over from the skies.
He felt sights like these were what he lived for. As long as his family remained harmonious, he liked to think that his life’s mission was fulfilled and that he could depart with peace in his mind. However, he was an immortal. He didn’t have any plans on dying. If the end of the universe was the true end, then he planned on living until that day with all his family mbers.
"Now then... ti to head back to cultivation..."
Davis sighed.
At this point, he was really vexed to go back and do it again. But he had no choice but to do it if he were to seek to enter the Empyrean Stage. Otherwise, the only option left for him was to devour Myria’s soul. But that would just end up inviting a divine punishnt. Still, he wouldn’t even consider it, even if it were not for that.
"You’re going back?" Abruptly, Mingzhi appeared beside him.
"Hmm. The sooner I complete my cultivation sessions, the better."
"I hope so. The others are fine with it, but I’m really not. I miss you so much~ I feel like I would die of thirst!~"
Mingzhi grabbed his hand and embraced him as though she wouldn’t let go, causing Davis to smile.
"I’m grateful you miss . Can’t have it any other way."
"You rogue~ You have to say ’I also miss you’ there~"
Mingzhi pinched his arm lightly and then bit him softly, taking in his taste.
Davis laughed. His Mingzhi was always horny. She was the only one who was actively hunting for him whenever he would co out from closed-door cultivation, and he always felt satisfied and proud to be sought out like that. She also gassed him up as she knew exactly where and how to stroke his ego.
"Wait... Nadia just ca back. Are you not going to satisfy her?" Mingzhi raised her brows.
As far as she knew, Nadia was also weak to dual cultivation.
Davis paused. He heaved a sigh again, "Since she ca back, I can also feel the bloodline curse on her, likely due to our pact that has renewed itself on her becoming a Quasi-Mythical Tier Beast. The bloodline curse has been refortified after she underwent her evolution, and this ti, my premonition says the backlash will be even stronger. The restrictions also beca stronger. I couldn’t even kiss her... Likely, Nadia also knows this... otherwise, she would’ve licked my face clean..."
Mingzhi’s gaze wavered with a hint of sadness before her expression turned wrathful, "What the fuck is the problem with the heavens in suppressing the death-attributed wolf race? Why does Nadia have to suffer this way?"
"Don’t worry... I am also confident in fracturing the bloodline curse again using the Transitory Beast Taming Pact after I beco an Empyrean. This technique is truly wonderful. Ultimately, I think we wouldn’t be able to rid ourselves of this curse until Nadia becos a Paragon Magical Beast herself and clears so sort of tribulation, or it could be sothing else, too, sothing we aren’t aware of."
Davis said with so solemness. He fully had the intention to solve this bloodline curse, but he didn’t even know where to begin.
It could be a cluttered ss for all he knew.
After dealing with so matters, Davis returned to his seclusion chamber.
He looked at Myria and Everlight, who were already waiting for him, although they had just tended to the garden before coming here. He knew the sight of them walking through the garden’s lanes and making the flora grow faster on both sides was simply amazing. The children would also gather to watch them do it. They would be like fairies crossing a plethora of flowerbeds, the scene srizing and heavenly.
"Are you ready?" Myria asked in a soft voice.
"Yeah, let’s do this and get this over with as soon as possible..."
The blood drained from Davis’s face as he said in a grave tone.
