Davis quickly returned to the marketplace.
He saw Heaven’s Warriors from the other teams at the entrance, glancing at him, but he ignored them and walked straight into the marketplace and reached his unit.
"Welco back, master~"
Alinna welcod him, but it caused him to blink.
"You agree to enter my family?" Davis said, but he was montarily dumbfounded.
He had only invited her since she knew so secrets that he didn’t want to get out, but even if those secrets got out, it wasn’t a big thing since he would always make up so contingencies for it. He really didn’t expect this timid rabbit to join.
Utmost, he thought of scaring her and sealing her mories behind a paywall. She would need to return the debt to him in order to beco aware of these mories.
"Yes..." Alinna’s voice was soft, but her gaze was determined, "I am extrely thankful for your grace and benevolence."
Davis stared at her before he understood her aning.
He nodded, "With your prowess, you shouldn’t have co here. Outside, you might be a supre genius, but here, you are a part of the cannon fodder. The supre geniuses who ca here and successfully obtained resources are only growing stronger and stronger. As for you, you were defeated. It wouldn’t have been strange if you were killed, but you survived to this day and haven’t received much humiliation. You’re very lucky."
"But I see your ability to make decisions while cornered is also good. If you do well, you could even invite your parents to my empire. Of course, I won’t guarantee our survival, so it’s all in your hands. If you want to reconsider, the ti is now."
Davis gave her a chance.
However, Alinna responded with a sharp glare, "I don’t go back on my decisions. Please help beco stronger. I would like to co under Master Tanya’s tutelage. I heard from elder sister Shirley that she might even slash through them if they weren’t careful. I haven’t heard of such a strong sword cultivator."
"They could be exaggerating since Tanya’s their beloved sister..."
"Even so, I saw the pleasantness of this family. Even if it’s fake, it couldn’t be as fake as the people I t on this journey. I’m prepared to die."
"..." Davis saw her steely expression, turning impressed. He recalled her bandit encounter and realized that soone from her team could have betrayed her. It wasn’t sothing important since the betrayer also got done in by the bandits.
Davis knew this woman wasn’t to be underestimated.
She was the strongest disciple of her sect. She had made herself stronger while starting from a humble family that didn’t have much wealth, and she was still young. She had the drive and courage to co here alone in order to earn and grow stronger, so she wasn’t ordinary.
’Of course, she’s also a sword cultivator...’ Davis inwardly laughed since he had initially recognized her as a helpless, bunny girl.
The funny thing was that he was more familiar with her life and thoughts than so of his wives since he had accidentally stolen her identity. Since he knew she was a kind, brave and loyal woman, he knew the chances of her betraying was extrely less.
"Alright, you’ll start as a maid..." Davis commanded, giving her the final reason to reject.
However, Alinna nodded heavily, "Your wish is my command."
Davis nodded back, "You don’t need to stay here all the ti, but if you want to go out, have this talisman. It should help you counter those who want to harm you or possess you in order to take advantage of my family."
"..."
Alinna was montarily stunned before she pursed her lips dejectedly and accepted.
Of course, she should’ve known that rather than her being in danger, a Divergent and their family would always be the ones that is being hunted. She wryly smiled, thinking she got ahead of herself. A man who has beautiful wives wouldn’t be so hungry for soone who was defeated and suppressed to this level.
She bowed, thanking him again.
Davis walked past her and entered the hallway, where he saw a number of rooms to the left and the right. His eyes subconsciously searched for Shirley, but in the corner of his eyes, he caught sight of a blue-black robed woman standing near an open door.
She wore a white inner and a pure white skirt.
Her sapphire eyes were srizing while her white-blue hair adorned her head and cascaded down her shoulders. The color of her eyes was so faint that it almost looked like her pupils were white. On her forehead was the mark of an upward-facing blue crescent moon with a white outline, signifying her Emperor-Tier status.
She was none other than the Lunar Frostwing Phoenix.
[You don’t need to consider my feelings or anything for that matter. Just think of this as a dream, a dream that will end soon.]
These words flashed past his mind, and suddenly, as though possessed, he hurriedly walked towards her.
As soon as he appeared in front of her, Davis didn’t stop.
He grabbed her shoulders and pushed her into the room before he turned around and softly slamd her against the wall. He looked outside the door, wondering if Alinna was there or not, before gazing back at her.
"Is the open door an invitation?"
"..." Frostrose’s gaze shook, "Everyone has gone outside."
Her voice was both llow and seductive.
Davis’s heart pounded heavily. He no longer hesitated, pouncing at her lips and placing a hot kiss over her.
"Nadia, tell before they co back...!"
He inwardly echoed at Nadia while continuing to kiss Frostrose. His hands that held her shoulders went to her cheeks. He held her close, deeply relishing the taste of her lips as he kissed her with the utmost passion that his burning body could unleash.
Frostrose’s cheeks increasingly reddened. She didn’t expect Davis to co at her with this kind of intensity.
Her sapphire eyes gradually sank, and her lips turned more active. She let him do whatever he wanted. One of his hands soon went down to find her bosoms. She trembled ever so lightly when she felt his firm palm press over her bosom, jolting her awake, yet it only fueled to give herself more to him.
She raised her hands and wrapped her arms around his neck.
He slid past her lips and went for her neck, making Frostrose feel feverish. He kissed and licked her soft neck and pressed his thick, tenacious mber against her belly, making her feel hot and needy. Both of them felt like sothing was going to explode in their minds as they felt extrely-
"They’re back~"
At that mont, Nadia’s voice echoed.
Davis froze.
The next mont, the sound of the door opening at the entrance of the unit could be heard, and he hurriedly let her go. Frostrose also ran to the side, as if her feet were on fire.
Davis cleared the traces, straightened out his robe, and walked out, eting with Isabella and the others who were congratulating Alinna for joining them.
Frostrose also joined with a calm outlook. The woman looked as though nothing was suspicious, which impressed Davis.
"Nadia, no snacks or at for you for the next few days."
"Master, no~"
Davis inwardly punished Nadia for playing with him again. He told her to inform him when they were coming back, but she waited until they were at the front of the door. If he had known, he wouldn’t have been blue-balled like this!
Nonetheless, he quickly adopted a solemn expression and inford them about his mini-adventure outside that consisted of information about the Storm Divergent and Astral Cultivation. As he spoke, his eyes road over their bosoms.
Evidently, he was in a ’hungry’ state.
