"Mom and Dad miss you. Co on ho," said Archie Sumrs from the other end of the line. As he spoke, he gestured for Louise Jordan to pinpoint Mika Sumrs’s exact location.
Louise Jordan nodded and gave Archie Sumrs an "OK" sign.
Mika Sumrs’s expression darkened. She guiltily searched for an excuse. "Archie, it’s not a good ti for to co back right now. How about I visit Mom and Dad another day?"
"Mika, are you hiding sothing from ? If you are, you have to tell . You need to rember that in this world, family is the only support you can rely on, the only ones who can help you."
"Archie, what could I possibly be hiding from you? Stop making wild guesses."
Archie Sumrs sighed. He knew that if Mika didn’t want to talk, he wouldn’t get anything out of her, no matter how much he pressed.
"Archie, I know you’re just looking out for , but I’m grown up now. I don’t want to trouble you anymore. I’ll handle my own affairs. I won’t be a burden to you."
"Silly girl..." ’How could she ever be a burden? If anything, he wished she would be.’
Mika Sumrs looked up at the oil painting on the wall, an indescribable bitterness welling up in her heart. "Archie, you’ll always be the best big brother to . That won’t change, no matter what happens... right?"
Hearing Mika’s words, Archie Sumrs felt his heart tighten. A flash of panic flickered in his eyes, but he quickly covered it with a calm smile and said in a deep voice, "Of course, silly girl. Why bring that up all of a sudden?"
"It’s nothing. I just wanted to be sure."
"Sure about what?"
"To be sure that my brother is still my brother."
Archie Sumrs’s handso brows furrowed tightly. "Of course I’m your brother. What on earth is going on in that little head of yours?"
"It’s nothing, really! Archie, let’s leave it at that. Bye." Mika Sumrs said with a laugh, trying to smooth things over.
Before Archie Sumrs could reply, she hung up.
She stared at the oil painting on the wall with a complex expression. ’It’s just a painting. It doesn’t have to an anything.’
’When she was little, kids would taunt her and bully her. She’d run ho to her mother, who always told her the sa thing: she had carried her brother for ten months and endured a difficult labor to bring him into the world. She, more than anyone, knew he was her son.’
’Anyone else could have their doubts, but she couldn’t. Mika Sumrs, oh, Mika Sumrs, what are you even thinking?’
’If he wasn’t her biological brother, why did she resemble him more and more as she grew up?’

In the office, Archie Sumrs watched Henry Archer and Lily Shaw standing in the doorway, the smile on his lips growing increasingly cold.
His patience had completely run out. He was in a hurry to find that foolish sister of his; he had no ti to waste on them.
"Have you made up your minds? Are you going to tell your president’s whereabouts?"
Henry Archer replied helplessly, "President Sumrs, our boss truly had an ergency and left on a last-minute business trip."
"I’ve heard that once, and I don’t want to hear it again. What I want to know is where he went, and why he left on a business trip without my approval!"
’What? Our boss needs *his* approval to go on a business trip?’ Henry Archer shot Archie Sumrs a disdainful look, deciding to ignore him.
’This is the LK Group, a Grayson Family enterprise. By what right does our boss need *his* approval?’
"Heh. It seems you’ve decided not to talk?" Archie Sumrs had, of course, noticed Henry Archer’s subtle act of defiance. The corner of his mouth curled up again as he spoke in an icy tone.
"President Sumrs, as I’ve already stated, we cannot disclose our boss’s whereabouts to anyone. Even as a shareholder, you don’t have the right to that information."
"Good. Very good. Excellent." Archie Sumrs rose slowly to his feet, a contemptuous smile on his face. He began to clap slowly as he walked toward Henry Archer. "You’re Henry Archer, correct? I’ll rember you."
No matter how ntally tough he was, Henry Archer couldn’t help but shiver at Archie Sumrs’s words. "I-I’m just following procedure. Keeping my superior’s whereabouts confidential is my job."
Archie Sumrs raised a handso eyebrow. "And what about you? The beautiful Miss Shaw, don’t tell you feel the sa way."
"I-I-I don’t know."
"I never like to make things difficult for a beautiful woman. The beautiful Miss Shaw, please give your president’s phone number. That shouldn’t be a problem, should it?"
"N-no problem..." Lily Shaw was completely captivated by Archie Sumrs, and she nodded with a blush.
