"W-what are you doing?" Mika asked in surprise, pulling Kiki closer as she backed away.
Tristan Grayson’s eyes narrowed as he said in a dangerously cool voice, "Just looking for a little fun..."
Seeing him like this, Mika quickly shook her head. "No, thanks. I need to stay here and watch TV with Kiki. You can go find your fun by yourself." After the past two days with Tristan, she was already reaching her limit...
However, a roguish smirk played on Tristan Grayson’s lips. He softened his voice and said to Kiki, "Kiki, be a good boy. Mommy and Daddy have so business to take care of. Can you watch TV by yourself for a bit, okay?"
"Okay." Kiki tilted his head, glanced at Mika, and nodded.
Hearing this, Mika felt like crying. She hugged Kiki tightly and grumbled, "Kiki, Mommy needs you! You can’t side with Daddy!"
"I’m not getting involved in you grown-ups’ business." Kiki squird out of Mika’s arms, scooted his little butt over on the sofa, crossed his arms, and tilted his chin up disdainfully.
’This ti, I’m not taking sides!’
"Ah—" Before Mika could even process Kiki’s attitude, Tristan had already swept her forcefully off the sofa and into his arms.
She instinctively wrapped her arms around Tristan’s neck, her face flushing as she cried out, "Tristan..."
"Hm?"
"I don’t think watching TV is boring..."
The smile on Tristan’s lips deepened. "But there are things much more fun than watching TV."
"I like watching TV."
"You can watch after we’re done." ... By the ti he finished speaking, Tristan had already carried her upstairs. Once inside their room, he tossed Mika onto the bed.
He turned to lock the door, and by the ti he faced her again, the woman had already sat up on the bed.
Gazing at the alluring woman on the bed, he reached up and began to unbutton his shirt.
Mika’s heart hamred in her chest. She casually tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and smiled as she shuffled backward. "Tristan, can’t we wait until tonight?"
Tristan tossed his shirt aside and started unbuckling his belt as he advanced on the bed.
Mika’s eyes were fixed on Tristan’s physique, and she couldn’t help but swallow hard. Her heart began to race even faster.
’The older I get, the weaker my resistance gets...’
She had to admit, when it ca to Tristan, she, Mika Sumrs, seed to forget the very aning of the word "no." The mont she laid eyes on him, her heart was completely captivated...
"Do you like the view?" Seeing Mika staring at him, unblinking, Tristan sat on the edge of the bed and leaned in close to her.
Mika snapped out of her daze, blushing as she stamred, "Ah! O-oh, it’s... decent..."
Decent? Tristan’s brow furrowed in displeasure. "Then who’s better looking, or Silas Kent?"
The mont she heard Silas Kent’s na, Mika’s expression froze. It only took a few seconds for her to recover. ’He must have heard all the rumors flying around the company,’ she thought. She looked at Tristan and asked seriously, "If I told you that absolutely nothing happened between and Silas Kent, would you believe ?"
Tristan clearly hadn’t expected her to bring this up. He had only been asking who she found more attractive, him or Silas. He hadn’t ant anything else by it.
But hearing her ask him so directly, he was genuinely touched. Without a second thought, he answered, "I believe you."
"Why?" Mika demanded, her eyes welling up.
"Because if you’re the one saying it, I’ll always believe it."
Tristan’s words moved Mika to tears. She launched herself at him, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck as she said through her sobs, "Tristan, I never did anything to betray you. Body and soul, I’m yours. I’ve always been yours."
