After listening to the lady, Tristan Grayson was silent for a few seconds. "Egg fried rice," he said.
"Alright, why don’t you have a seat? It’ll be ready in just a minute. Oh, by the way, sir, do you need to get one to go for your girlfriend?"
"To go? No need." ’I don’t even know where that woman has gone. Why would I be so kind as to pack her a al?’
The lady didn’t notice that Tristan Grayson’s expression had soured. She continued smiling, "You two lovebirds are really sothing else. Having a little spat? That young lady waited here for you for almost an hour during the day, but you never ca back. And now you’re here by yourself... you must be waiting for her, right? I’m telling you, a pretty girlfriend like yours, you have to keep a close eye on her. Otherwise, soone’s going to snatch her away soday. Don’t believe ? This afternoon, I was mopping the floor, and I saw it myself. A man just as handso as you are picked her up from across the street."
The lady was quite the righteous sort and felt it was her duty to give this handso young man a helping hand.
Tristan Grayson’s already foul mood took a nosedive. After hearing what the lady said, he was furious enough to kill that woman.

He pulled out his wallet, drew out a thousand-yuan bill, and pressed it into the lady’s hand. "I just rembered I have sothing to take care of. This is for the al. I won’t be eating." With that, Tristan Grayson turned and walked away.
The lady stared at the thousand-yuan bill in her hand as if it were burning her. She rushed out after him, shouting, "Hey! I haven’t even started cooking! You don’t have to pay! And even if you did, it’s not nearly this much!"
Tristan Grayson didn’t have ti to stand there and argue with her about the cost of the al. He was already back in his car.
Just then, his phone rang. He glanced at the screen—it was Sheldon Rhodes. He swiped to answer. "Hello?"
"Sir, we’ve found her. Mr. Archie Sumrs took her to the villa."
"Alright. Understood." He hung up, turned the car around, and headed for the villa on the outskirts of the city.
In the living room, Mika Sumrs sat anxiously beside Una Sullivan. It was almost 11 PM, but her parents showed no signs of heading to bed.
She couldn’t leave even if she wanted to. She’d shot her brother aningful looks several tis, but he pretended not to see them, continuing his discussion about the TV show with their dad.
She sighed, giving up on the idea of leaving. ’Besides,’ she thought, ’Tristan Grayson probably won’t be ho anyway. He’d never even notice I was gone.’
’I an, I was standing right behind him today, and he looked straight through as if I were invisible, like thin air. So how would he possibly know if I didn’t co ho for one night?’
She gave a bitter laugh, hugging a throw pillow and leaning against her mother.
Una Sullivan smiled, stroking her daughter’s hair. "So you’ve t your sister-in-law," she said softly. "What do you think of her?"
"Mhm, I t her," Mika nodded, smiling at her mom’s words. "She’s beautiful, and a great match for my brother."
"Mhm, I think so too. And Mika, that sister-in-law of yours is actually a year younger than you." More importantly, she was carrying Una’s precious grandchild, so naturally, Una couldn’t have been more satisfied. Eleanor Bishop was also the one who had brought the old couple from their hotown to Tridell, so Una Sullivan had a particularly favorable impression of her. In the small city they ca from, most daughters-in-law were unwilling to live with their in-laws.
Hearing this, Mika Sumrs sat up in surprise. "Really?" ’She’s actually younger than I am?’
