Tao Ran looked up and shouted to the class.
"The two top students, go to the eting."
Hearing this, Jiang Nian stood up from his seat. He didn’t agree with this label; what did they an by the top students?
He had already stopped being in the special class, so why pair him up with a top student?
Forget it, for the greater good.
Both of them held their assignnts, and one after the other, they walked out of the classroom. They happened to see people from other classrooms leaving as well.
In the dimly lit hallway, Yu Zhiyi and Jiang Nian kept a distance between each other.
Pitter-patter.
No, it was actually thud thud thud.
Jiang Nian wore sneakers that didn’t make much noise unless the ground was too dry, which would then create a sharp squeaking sound.
Yu Zhiyi was different; she liked to wear shoes that made a thudding sound when walking.
Perhaps she thought it was cute.
Although... she indeed had the right to act cute, Jiang Nian wasn’t swayed by it, so he quickened his pace.

The loud noise from Jiang Nian’s takeoff drew the attention of teachers on the sa floor, with several teachers peeking their heads out of classrooms.

When she got downstairs, she was clenching her teeth in fury.

Outside classroom 304, Jiang Nian lingered for half a minute only to find Song Xiyun was gone.
He was about to head down the stairs when he looked up to see Yu Zhiyi coming down, directly giving him a death stare— an iconic scene, but the other person was clearly quite angry.

"Why did you run just now in the hallway?"
Jiang Nian was startled and looked back at Yu Zhiyi.
"Which rule says you can’t run?"
"I..." Yu Zhiyi was at a loss for words, "The teacher didn’t catch you; he caught , so you owe one!"
"I’ll pay you back another day." Jiang Nian vaguely promised.
Yu Zhiyi originally thought Jiang Nian would argue with her, but unexpectedly, it was like punching a soft cushion, so she couldn’t say anything more.

Today she wore a white turtleneck sweater that accentuated her striking figure, topped with a khaki coat.

"Let’s take the elevator later, I know the administrative building well." Zhang Xiaofan walked at their side, appearing particularly eager.
"Students probably can’t use the elevator, right?" said Lv Xuan, a girl wearing a thin, light-colored down jacket.
Her face was delicate, her figure tall and slender, and her aura was like a lofty flower.

They were from the sa class, senior year, liberal arts Olympic competition class 2.
