"I... I understand. You should hurry and go!" Xu Yulan's voice was so soft that anyone else would surely have missed it.

Before Liu Ergou could reply, Zhang Man, still holding his arm, led him to a sports car. She then slid into the driver's seat, while Liu Ergou sat dizzily in the passenger seat.

Looking at Zhang Man seated beside him, Liu Ergou said with a hint of helplessness, "I was planning to rest today. I didn't expect you to drag all the way out here!"
Hearing his words, Zhang Man paused for a mont before flashing a sweet smile. "So what? You're here now, aren't you? What, you're not happy to see a beauty like ?"
Her comnt earned an eye roll from Liu Ergou. "Not really. I just want to rest."
His blunt refusal caught Zhang Man off guard, leaving her montarily speechless.
Liu Ergou, however, acted as if he hadn't noticed her reaction and casually asked, "Zhang Man, what's your deal, anyway? I heard that back in school, you were always chasing rich second-generation guys, trying to land a wealthy husband. But it turns out you're a rich woman yourself. What ga are you playing?"
His question snapped Zhang Man out of her daze. She answered breezily, "Oh, you just don't get it, Ergou! Let's just say I enjoy the thrill of the hunt. Understand?"
That one sentence left Liu Ergou speechless. It wasn't that he didn't understand; on the contrary, he understood all too well.
The kids of wealthy families sure play on a different level, he thought. I can't even compare.
Without waiting for Liu Ergou to respond, Zhang Man started the sports car. With a roar, it sped off toward her ho.
As she drove, Zhang Man chatted idly with Liu Ergou.
"Ergou, your dical skills are just incredible. However, she didn't say anything more and focused on driving.

Glancing at Liu Ergou, Zhang Man suddenly broke into a mysterious smile. Then, she took one hand off the steering wheel and began tugging at her neckline.
