Upon hearing this, Nie Qiqi was about to say sothing, but before the words could leave her mouth, Liu Ergou interrupted her.
"Also, it's not just your attitude. The way you address is a problem too!" he continued. "What's with that? Calling by my full na, 'Liu Ergou, Liu Ergou'… you make it sound like I'm your mortal enemy! I'm teaching you the Taiyi 14 Needles, which makes half your master, you know! And you just call your master by his full na like that?"
Liu Ergou's words left Nie Qiqi completely speechless. Staring at him, she found him incredibly infuriating. I really want to go up there and slap him hard across the face!
But the thought of the Taiyi 14 Needles made her bite her tongue.
Nie Qiqi asked through clenched teeth, "Fine. Then what should I call you?"
"You want to call you 'Master'?"
"Let tell you, don't even think about it. I only have one master, and I will absolutely never call a second person 'Master.' Even if you go back on your word now and refuse to teach the Taiyi 14 Needles, my answer will still be the sa!"
Hearing this, Liu Ergou didn't press the issue. He simply looked at Nie Qiqi with a small smile.

"How about it? Isn't that a much more suitable title?"

Liu Ergou responded with a deadpan expression, "And how old are you?"
As soon as he asked her age, Nie Qiqi's spirits lifted. "I'm twenty!" she declared proudly.
Her declaration of being twenty earned an eye-roll from Liu Ergou.
"And here I thought you were thirty. That's nonsense. I'm definitely older than you. Call 'Brother'!" he said. "Also… I'd say you're probably a C-cup."
Nie Qiqi understood the first part of his comnt but was a bit confused by the latter. However, the mont she followed his gaze down to her own chest, she instantly understood.
"AAAGH! Liu Ergou! You shaless jerk! How can you be so disgusting, thinking about such perverted things first thing in the morning?!" she cried, quickly crossing her arms over her chest. "That does it! I'm fighting you right now!"
Then she pounced toward him.
Unfortunately, she hadn't taken more than two steps before he reached out and simply placed a hand on her head, stopping her in her tracks. Then, he tapped her head lightly.
"I believe I told you to call 'Brother.' And that I'm older than you," he said calmly. "Did you hear ?"
He let his hand fall, his tone becoming serious. "I'm warning you one last ti. If you don't call 'Brother,' I really won't teach you the Taiyi 14 Needles. My patience has limits. Don't think I'm so pushover."
His words imdiately deflated the feisty Nie Qiqi. She looked up at him with a pitiful expression. After two or three minutes of intense hesitation, she finally opened her mouth and whispered, "B... Brother..."
Although she managed to say it, her voice was barely louder than a mosquito's buzz. Hearing it, the corners of Liu Ergou's mouth couldn't help but curl into a smirk, but he pretended he hadn't heard anything.
"Hmm? What was that, Qiqi? I didn't quite catch what you called . Say it again, a little louder this ti."
Hearing him call her 'Qiqi,' her first instinct was to protest. On second thought, however, him always using her full na did feel a bit distant. 'Qiqi' was nicer. So, she decided not to dwell on it. Instead, she refocused on the issue at hand. She knew he must have heard her; he was just deliberately ssing with her. Although she wanted to call him out on it, she knew it would be pointless.
After a mont's hesitation, Nie Qiqi took a deep breath, raised her voice to a normal speaking volu, and called out again.
"Brother!"
This ti, her voice was loud enough for anyone who wasn't deaf to hear. To her dismay, Liu Ergou still shook his head.
"Nope! Still didn't hear you! Louder! You hear ?"
This ti, Nie Qiqi couldn't take it anymore. She took another deep breath and, using all her strength, bellowed at him.
"BROTHER!"
The shout was so powerful it seed to shake the very heavens, making Liu Ergou involuntarily dig a finger into his ear.
"Ouch! I heard you, I heard you! What are you yelling so loud for?" Liu Ergou grumbled, still digging at his ear. "Jeez, are all young people this energetic these days? All that pent-up energy…"
His comnt made Nie Qiqi freeze solid.
This... this man! He was truly, indescribably shaless! He was the one who said my voice was too soft, and now he's blaming for being too loud! Despicable! He's absolutely despicable!
At that mont, Nie Qiqi wanted nothing more than to pounce on Liu Ergou and sink her teeth into him. But rembering she was no match for him, she had to abandon the idea.
Before she could dwell on it, however, Liu Ergou suddenly pulled her down onto the sofa. Nie Qiqi landed right in his lap. Sitting there, she was visibly uncomfortable and tried to shift away.
Just then, Liu Ergou asked, "Qiqi, you brought breakfast, but have you eaten yet?"
Without thinking, Nie Qiqi blurted out, "I... The first thing I did after getting up was bring this to you. Of course I haven't eaten yet!"
Liu Ergou nodded. Then, he picked up a piece of breakfast from the table and held it to her lips. Staring at the food by her mouth, Nie Qiqi froze for a mont, unsure what he was doing. A wary look crept onto her face.
Seeing her cautious expression, Liu Ergou chuckled. "Why so guarded? I'm not going to eat you. You haven't eaten, right? We can eat together. Here, eat up. If you don't, I will!"
Nie Qiqi was stunned. She hadn't expected Liu Ergou to say sothing like that; it was utterly surprising. After a brief hesitation, she opened her mouth and took a bite of the food he held.
Seeing her eat the breakfast, Liu Ergou nodded, satisfied. Then he picked up the soy milk. "Want so?"
Having learned her lesson, Nie Qiqi nodded without a second thought.
