However, to Nie Qiqi's surprise, Liu Ergou didn't bring the soy milk to her lips. Instead, he started drinking it himself. Just like that, the tiny sliver of goodwill she had started to feel for him vanished without a trace.
Only a mont ago, when Liu Ergou had started feeding her breakfast, she had been thinking differently. Maybe he isn't such a bad person after all. He's actually quite decent, knowing I haven't eaten and being willing to share his food.

Just as Nie Qiqi was inwardly cursing him, Liu Ergou finished the soy milk and suddenly t her gaze, making her jump. She was about to say sothing, but he suddenly lowered his head and kissed her directly on the lips.

While she was still frozen in shock, Liu Ergou had already skillfully parted her lips. A mont later, a familiar, sweet taste flowed into her mouth. The next second, it hit her. He was feeding her soy milk… mouth-to-mouth.

The most important thing is you didn't even brush your teeth this morning! I take it back. You're not just shaless, you're genuinely disgusting! Unbearably so! AAAHHH!"
Nie Qiqi shrieked, on the verge of a total ltdown.
Seeing her on the verge of a breakdown, Liu Ergou couldn't help but burst into laughter. "HAHAHA!"
Enraged by his gleeful laughter, Nie Qiqi opened her mouth to bite him. Before she could, however, he caught her jaw in his large hand.
"Oho, trying to sneak attack , are we?" he chuckled. "Let tell you, the sa trick doesn't work on a Saint twice!" With that, he burst into hearty laughter again.
Watching him laugh so smugly, Nie Qiqi felt like she was about to explode with anger. But she was completely helpless against him and could only glare as he roared with laughter.
Fortunately, his laughter died down after a few monts. Then, with a suddenly serious expression, he picked up the breakfast and the soy milk again and began to feed her properly.

She nodded. "I'm full, but I feel terrible. I said I was bringing you breakfast, but I ended up eating it all."

Hearing this, Nie Qiqi imdiately said, "Oh, no problem! I'll go get you another breakfast right now! Wait here, I'll be back really soon!" She tried to get up from his lap to go get the food.
However, the mont she tried to sit up straight, he simply pulled her back into his embrace. Nie Qiqi was confused. He said he was hungry, so why won't he let go get him breakfast?

Seeing her confused expression, Liu Ergou chuckled and said sothing that baffled her completely. "I'm not stopping you. It's just… there's no ti."

He explained to the still-confused girl, "I an it literally. I'm too hungry to wait for you to go get breakfast. If I have to wait any longer, I'll starve to death!"
Hearing this, Nie Qiqi couldn't help but roll her eyes. "Wow, Liu Ergou, could you be any more dramatic? Who starves to death from eating breakfast a little late? Honestly, I'm so done with your lies. If you're going to lie, could you at least make it a believable one?"
