Chapter 1341: Chapter 1338: Aidan Lucas Tells Himself, He Has No Regrets (Extra 3)
After being pushed away by Aidan Lucas, Lily tried several tis to speak and explain herself.
But Aidan Lucas gave her no chance to talk, interrupting her every ti with a cold tone.
Twenty minutes flew by in an instant, and she watched the man she longed for suddenly close his eyes.
Wiping away her tears imdiately, Lily climbed onto the sofa to sit properly.
She rembered that the second personality had said that their mories do not intermingle.
She was unwilling to let that person treat her earnest waiting as a joke to be scoffed at.

“What’s the matter, I thought after being apart for four years, the second you saw each other, sparks would fly and you’d be uncontrollable. But I see not even a piece of clothing has been removed.”
Aidan Lucas seed to be mocking as he tugged at the corner of his lips, but his hand hidden in his sleeve was trembling slightly.
He didn’t know to what extent Professor Marlowe’s hypnosis had worked.
If the first personality hadn’t been fully hypnotized, if the first thing he saw upon opening his eyes was Lily with disheveled clothes,
then even the second personality might not know what actions it would take at that ti.
Lily heard the sarcasm in Aidan Lucas’s words, but now she had no energy left to argue with him.

“You…” Aidan Lucas’s movents slowed down, as he almost forgot that she was injured.
Moreover, she was carrying in her belly the child he’d long awaited.
“Forget it, even if you don’t tell about you and him, I’ll find a way to know,” said Aidan Lucas as he picked up the silent Lily and carried her back into the bedroom.
A short ti later, the man returned to the study room and locked the door behind him.
He had to know what exactly had happened between Lily and that man.
Aidan Lucas took out the small dicine bottle he had prepared earlier.
This was specially formulated by Professor Marlowe to help him retrieve the mories lost while the first personality was in control of his body.
Aidan Lucas sat on the sofa and swallowed a pill without hesitation.
In less than a mont, he drifted off to sleep.
In his dream, he saw himself coldly questioning Lily.
He saw the woman’s face turn paler and paler.
She tried to co forward to apologize, only to be pushed away by his indifferent wave.
Watching her collapse to the floor, Aidan Lucas wished he could punch the version of himself in the dream.
How could he… how could he be so cruel and unfeeling to Lily…
Even if she loved soone else, he shouldn’t have pushed her away or let her get hurt.
His Lily was so afraid of pain, and even when he was angry, he had never laid a hand on her.

The dream ended abruptly.
Aidan Lucas suddenly opened his eyes, seeing his usually frosty eyes still holding the remnants of a startled quiver.
He finally realized that all of what had just happened was not a dream.
That was the bitter outco he had facilitated with his own hands.
Wasn’t that the result he had wanted?
To let Lily know that even if the first personality returned, they could never go back to how things were.
The man she longed for would never forgive her.
The man to whom she had given all her love had long since not wanted her anymore.

Aidan Lucas forced himself to ignore the strangeness in his heart, stabilizing his emotions before returning to the bedroom.
