The waitress who had led the charge in defending Mrs. Wellington felt so remorseful her face turned green.
Her cheeks felt like they were on fire, and she wished she could vanish into thin air.

Lulu’s answer instantly saved the humiliated waitress.

Just when the waitress felt a flicker of hope, she heard Lulu proudly say,

Lulu smiled sweetly, her aqua-blue peachy eyes full of pride and joy.
Unaware she was being provoked into talking, baby was boastfully introducing her Daddy, mother, and uncle.
The inquiring waitress’s heart skipped a beat.

The waitress conjured up an image of a stoic, coldly beautiful heartthrob in her mind, thinking that to have a husband like that and a brother like God David Redington,
That woman’s taste in n must be incredibly high-maintenance—having an affair with an old man?
No way, that’s absolutely not the case.
“So, have you three kids made up your minds?” It was at this mont that Redington’s magnetic voice floated over.
The heartthrob approached and wrapped his arms around the three little ones.
“I’ve decided; I want the chocolate flavor,” Abbie stated her long-coveted choice directly.
Lulu looked up at her uncle, “Lulu wants strawberry with macadamia nuts and pineapple.”
Such a greedy request from little Lulu, wanting a scoop of each flavor.
Ben glanced at Lulu.
It was the first ti he realized his sister had such peculiar tastes.
“No way, too much ice cream will give you a stomach ache. You can only choose one flavor,” Redington refused Lulu without a second thought.
Lulu felt aggrieved but didn’t dare disobey her uncle, puffing up her little face and saying, “Then… I’ll have strawberry.”
If only Daddy were here, he would definitely let Lulu enjoy lots of her favorite flavors.
It was Ben’s turn now, but he didn’t really have a favorite flavor.
He wasn’t really interested in sweets.
Ben blinked his dark, bright eyes and then looked over at Lily, who happened to be walking by.
“Mother, which flavor of ice cream do you like?”
Lily replied without much thought, “Hmm… mother likes vanilla.”
“Oh,” Ben nodded, “then I will have vanilla.”
If he didn’t have a favorite flavor, then he could just cultivate one.
Ben thought… starting today, his favorite ice cream flavor would be vanilla.
The waitress scooped one ball for each of the children into a waffle cone, and after Redington paid, the waitress who had confronted Lily earlier suddenly approached, blushing.
“Ma’am…” The waitress’s face was beet-red, and she was followed by the two others who had joined in the mocking and ridicule earlier.
The three of them bowed to Lily, apologizing, “We’ve asked your daughter, and it turns out you’re God David Redington’s sister and a married woman. We’re sorry… we misunderstood.”
The three tots were stunned, Redington too was taken aback, and even Lily showed a hint of surprise.
