Emily Taylor’s sobbing voice echoed from the voice recorder.
Upon hearing the recording, the family heads who had already been briefed on its content remained composed, but everyone else was stunned into silence, their faces frozen in disbelief.
Even Lily instinctively tightened her grip on Aidan Lucas’s hand.

Theodore Lucas deliberately said this for Aidan Lucas to hear.

Standing up, he strode directly toward Emily Taylor. “Mom, go back and take a seat. I’ll handle this.”
He didn’t believe a single word Theodore Lucas said, nor would he fall for his divisive tactics.
Emily Taylor cried uncontrollably, grasping his hands tightly. “Ethan, I never said those things. The recording he has must be a forgery…”
“I know, don’t worry.”
“Who said this recording is fake?” Theodore Lucas cut in, unwilling to tolerate their mother-son bond, “Emily Taylor, let tell you, there’s nowhere to hide when you’ve done sothing. Now, I’ll show you another piece of evidence I have!”
Without another word, Theodore Lucas took out his cell phone and played a video recording.
