“Ugh…” Simon Taylor winced in pain as his right hand throbbed, forcing him to let go of Charles Taylor.

Aidan Lucas spat out a single word coldly, “Get out.”

Her daughter’s feelings for her son were sothing Tara Hammond had always been aware of.

Upon hearing this, the dim light in Evelyn Lucas’s slightly disappointed eyes suddenly reignited.

Tara Hammond then picked up the phone to inform Theodore Lucas about the latest intel obtained through surveillance, urging him to send people to seize Professor Marlowe.

She didn’t notice that the study room door had, at so point, a small gap open.

Standing there with a tray of fruits, Tania Scott felt a chill run through her entire body.

Tears rolled uncontrollably down her cheeks, but she didn’t dare loosen the hand clamped tightly over her mouth.
