Skye Brown poured out all the grievances in her heart in one breath.
After she finished, she hung up the phone, giving Dylan Wellington no chance, and even directly blacklisted his number.
Having done all this, she took several deep breaths before heading back to the restaurant.
Who would have thought that as soon as she entered, she’d see Molly Wellington eating noodles like a little kitten, holding up the empty noodle bowl to show her.
"Skye... Molly finished it all, the noodles Skye cooked are really delicious, Molly really likes them. Look... Was Molly well-behaved? Not a bit wasted, it’s all gone."
Molly Wellington held the noodle bowl she had emptied.
She had not only eaten all the tomatoes, fried eggs, and noodles, but even the noodle soup was completely gone— the entire bowl was empty, leaving only a faint, imperceptible sheen.
Skye stared in shock.
Her almond-shaped eyes couldn’t help but open wide, staring at the empty noodle bowl, exclaiming, "Molly... Did you eat this?"
They had ’lived together’ before, but had not realized Molly Wellington was such a gourmand.
"Yes, yes, it was delicious, burp..." Molly, feeling full, lazily rubbed her round belly.
She slid down from the dining chair and muttered, "That day Skye abandoned Molly, not caring, Molly wanted to find Skye... But Daddy wouldn’t allow it, so Molly had to stage a hunger strike with Daddy..."
Hunger, hunger strike?
Skye suddenly broke into a cold sweat; how were father and daughter alike, going on hunger strikes at any slight discontent?
Could this be inherited from the Wellington family’s ancestors?
"Silly Molly, going on a hunger strike is absolutely not allowed; it hurts your own body and makes the people who care about you worry. You can’t do this anymore, understand?" Skye felt for the little baby, encircling her into her arms softly comforting.
Molly tilted her head, sowhat understanding, nodding, but asked, "When Molly goes on a hunger strike, will Skye worry?"
"Of course, of course I’d worry."
Molly’s big eyes darted around and she asked again, "How about Daddy? Will Daddy worry?"
"Of course... Your Daddy is just a bit stubborn, but he definitely is the one who worries most about Molly." Although Dylan Wellington’s attitude towards her was distasteful, Skye instinctively protected Dylan’s good father image in front of Molly.
Furthermore, now was clearly a great opportunity to reveal her identity to Molly, for Molly to follow her.
But Skye said nothing.

Skye frowned, "How could you not find ? My phone has been on all along, and I definitely haven’t received your call."
"How could it be possible that you haven’t received any... We called you last night, Mr. Wellington answered. He coldly told us not to bother you two, Millie and Gracie were dumbfounded at the ti. Who’d have thought Mr. Wellington would answer so late at night, imdiately we didn’t dare to call again and disturb you two..."
Assistant Millie felt frustrated, Dylan Wellington’s voice last night was deep, icy, and unmistakably displeased.
She and Gracie were frightened, trembling all night until today, not daring to call Skye’s cell phone actively.
