Moving back a little in ti, just as the slight sound of Qiu'er falling to the ground was heard, Kong Mingan, who was leaning in close, paused almost imperceptibly. His gaze shifted slightly, seemingly glancing toward the door. Kong Mingan: "*—
I forgot to turn off Qiu'er's permissions...
Seeing that Qiu'er did not co running over quickly, Kong Mingan's gaze flickered as he thought for a mont. Then, looking at the young girl close at hand, he was about to speak: "Gu Yue, just now..."
Before he could finish, Gu Yue, beneath him, seed to sense his distraction and frowned in dissatisfaction. Her black eyes, originally hazy and tearful, opened a sliver. She reached out her arms, wrapping them sowhat overbearingly around his neck, and pulled down slightly. Then, taking the initiative to tilt her head up, she used her lips to block his unfinished words. Kong Mingan: "Mmh...?"
In a brief interval, Gu Yue's breathing was unsteady as she spoke dizzily, "...Continue."
Her voice carried a sense of urgency, along with a hint of being lost in the mont.
Having said that, she kissed him again recklessly, as if trying to reclaim all of his attention.
Gu Yue: What are you mumbling about? Feed first.
Kong Mingan lowered his eyes, looking at the Dragon King Young Miss who had her eyes closed and the corners of her eyes flushed red. Clearly, not long ago, she had been gritting her teeth and keeping her eyes shut, refusing to make a sound in protest against him, yet now she was being excessively proactive. His gaze was montarily helpless. Just who was eating whom? How is it that as we eat, you've developed a taste for it and beco addicted first?
He sighed softly in his heart. Qiu'er's matter would be set aside for now. As for the present... he should properly deal with the Dragon King Young Miss in his arms...
Thinking this, his hand once again stroked the Dragon King Young Miss's waistline, the sensation of dragon scales alternating with fair skin hitting him once more.
On the other side, in Qiu'er's room—
Qiu'er leaned her back against the closed door and slowly slid down onto the carpet. She hugged her knees tightly, burying her face deep within them. Her body was still trembling slightly, and her brilliant golden hair slipped from her shoulders, covering her ears and neck, which were so red they almost seed to be smoking. In her mind, those soul-stirring scenes replayed uncontrollably, freezing and zooming in—Big Sister Lord's expression, so different from her usual coldness, and that guy's focused and effortless posture... every detail was terrifyingly clear. "They... actually... really... are..." she repeated unconsciously, her voice muffled against her knees, filled with deep disbelief and confusion. Clearly, when she left last night, the atmosphere between the two was so tense, looking as if they might break out into a fight at any mont! Why had things developed to this point after just one night?!
Just what happened during the ti she was away?!
Qiu'er tried hard to recall every detail of last night, attempting to find a clue, but she ca up with nothing. However, a certain detail she had overlooked suddenly surfaced at this mont. Big Sister Lord's expression at the ti, rather than being resistant or forced, was more like...
"Big Sister Lord seed... not to resist at all, and even... enjoyed it?" Qiu'er murmured to herself, her voice carrying a trace of trance-like state and bitterness that she hadn't noticed herself. This realization made her heart tighten inexplicably. Those scenes kept flashing back, filling her mind. She wanted to suppress them but felt lost, only able to bury her face deeper, as if that could shut out the images flashing before her eyes that made her heart skip a beat. After an unknown amount of ti, Qiu'er took several deep breaths, barely calming down. She stood up and walked sowhat unsteadily to the bedside, lying down on her side and tightly hugging a soft pillow. Before long, she lay flat again, one hand gripping the pillow. Her eyes, usually bright and proud red, were now staring blankly at the ceiling, hollow and lifeless, her mind still a ss. Ti passed slowly, and after an unknown period, at a certain mont, a knock suddenly sounded at the door. "Knock, knock."
Qiu'er snapped back to her senses, her body trembling slightly as she nearly jumped off the bed. She hurriedly sat up, patted her still-burning cheeks, and took a deep breath, trying to make her voice sound more normal before cautiously asking, "...Who is it?"
"Qiu'er, it's ." Bi Ji's gentle voice ca from outside the door.
Bi Ji?
Qiu'er breathed a sigh of relief, but then beca a bit nervous. She quickly got out of bed, walked to the door, tidied her expression and slightly ssy dress once more, and then opened the door. Outside, Bi Ji was wearing an erald-colored long dress, her temperant gentle as she looked at her with a smile, though deep within her gaze was an imperceptible trace of concern and inquiry. "Bi Ji," Qiu'er called out, stepping aside to let her in. "Why are you here? Is... sothing the matter?"
Bi Ji walked into the room and sat on the sofa, her gaze falling softly on Qiu'er. Instead of answering imdiately, she scrutinized her carefully for a mont before speaking softly, "Qiu'er, I've co because I want to talk with you."
"Talk?" Qiu'er sat down across from her, her heart pounding. "Yes." Bi Ji nodded, her tone still gentle, but her topic was direct. "Let's talk about the matters between you and that President Kong, as well as... the matters regarding the Lord."
Qiu'er's body froze instantly, and the heartbeat she had just barely cald accelerated uncontrollably once more. What did Bi Ji know?
Bi Ji looked at Qiu'er and caught her fleeting stiffness and the panic in her eyes, instantly understanding in her heart. It seed she had co to the right place; this child indeed had sothing weighing on her mind.
After a mont of silence, Bi Ji thought for a bit and spoke slowly, her voice carrying a comforting tone, "Qiu'er, the relationship between the Lord and that President Kong seems to be... quite unusual?"
Qiu'er pursed her lips and didn't answer, her fingers only unconsciously twisting together. But to Bi Ji, this silent reaction was already an answer. Bi Ji sighed inwardly; as expected. She weighed her words and continued softly, "Qiu'er, the Lord is of noble status and possesses great strength. If she were interested in President Kong and took the... initiative, I'm afraid few in this world could resist her. You don't need to feel sad because of this, or feel that you are inferior..."
"No, wait!" Qiu'er looked up and interrupted Bi Ji's words, her red eyes wide with a hint of confusion. "Bi Ji, what are you talking about? What do you an the Lord is together with that guy? What... the Lord taking the initiative?"
Bi Ji was stunned by her question. Looking at Qiu'er's reaction, why did it seem like it wasn't the sa thing she had understood?
"Qiu'er, aren't you feeling down because the Lord and President Kong might be together?" Bi Ji asked tentatively.
"I..." Qiu'er was at a loss for words, her face turning even redder. The reasons for her being down were more complex, but that was indeed a part of it. However, Bi Ji's way of putting it...
Qiu'er paused for a mont. She caught the keyword in Bi Ji's words: initiative?
Could it be... last night, no, even from the very beginning, from a long, long ti ago when that contract started...
Was everything actually Big Sister Lord's initiative?
