Seeing Gran enter that strange state of enlightennt again, Beerus and Whis no longer kept watch by the lakeside. Instead, they headed back toward the Old Kai's location.
Under the great tree, Shin was teasing Broly while the Old Kai quietly observed him from the side.
"Lord Old Kai, no need to think further. Gran and I have already co up with a solution," Whis said as he floated over with a soft smile.
"What?"
The Old Kai brightened instantly. "Mr. Whis, what thod did you co up with?"
"The Super Wish Orbs."
"Ah? But didn't we say not to rely on external power?"
The Old Kai frowned again.
Beerus sat down on a nearby chair, reached for one of the divine fruits on the table, took a bite, and said lazily:
"We were all thinking in the wrong direction. He isn't Gran. So what if he uses external help? So what if there are flaws afterward?"
"..."
The Old Kai finally understood what Whis and Beerus ant — and for a mont, he had no words.
He sighed. "Fine, do whatever you want."
He had always disliked using external forces, especially ones that went against the natural order.
But they weren't wrong. Even Odys lacked the potential to truly 'transcend.'
If flaws remained, then so be it.
"Then when the ti cos, we'll simply borrow the Super Wish Orbs from Lord Champa."
At those words, the Old Kai shot a sideways glance at Beerus. "Though I'm afraid Lord Champa won't lend them."
"He dare refuse?"
The divine fruit in Beerus' hand instantly disintegrated into specks of light.

What surprised Asin even more — these Saiyans had joined the Galactic Patrol.
The developnt felt strange even to Beerus. After Whis conducted an investigation, the answer ca out:
It was Gran acting in secret.
And the motive was obvious — Gran was doing it for rus, to raise Universe Seven's human-level rating.
Whis didn't mind.
If Gran wanted to freeload off his younger brother's abilities, so be it. rus had been a bit too rebellious lately anyway.
Let the kid take on more responsibility — maybe it would stop him from obsessing over "justice" all day.
Beerus, anwhile, felt sentintal.
His candidate was finally growing up — starting to care about Universe Seven.
When the topic ended, the gods continued chatting, all while keeping a close eye on Gran.
They were simply waiting for the mont he grasped Destruction.

Gran suddenly understood sothing.
He bent down and picked up a tiny pebble.
This movent imdiately drew the attention of the gods beneath the great tree.
"Only two days… You're telling he's already close?" Beerus whispered, excitent tightening his voice.
"Judging from his state, even if he falls short, it won't be by much," Whis said, rising from his chair.
The Old Kai and Shin also stood up, afraid to speak lest they disturb Gran by the lake.
Tension filled everyone's expression.
Once he grasped what 'Destruction' truly was, he could formally begin cultivating the Rule of Destruction.
Only with mastery of the Rule of Destruction would Gran beco a true candidate for God of Destruction.
Little Broly stayed obediently quiet as well, munching steadily at the table.
Peace settled over the Sacred World of the Kai.
Half a day passed.

An explosion sounded from the lakeside.
Gran looked at the shattered dust in his hand.
"No. Not yet."
"Still missing sothing."
He picked up another pebble.
For the next half day, explosions continued to echo across the Sacred World of the Kai.
At first they ca one after another
Later, only one explosion sounded each hour.
Finally, as the third day was drawing to a close
Gran pressed all five fingers together, gripping the pebble tightly.

This ti, instead of an explosion, a powerful energy fluctuation rippled outward.
The violent surge swept across the entire realm, rustling leaves and bending tree branches.
Did he… succeed?
Gran hesitated.
Slowly, he opened his palm.
No dust.
Nothing.
Which ant…
He had mastered what Destruction truly was.
The Omni-King's Palace.
"Grand Priest, that kid has successfully comprehended Destruction."
"Mm. Three days to grasp the essence of Destruction… His talent remains terrifying."
"Grand Priest, that child with the sa constitution as Odys… do you think he can overco his defects?"
"Perhaps."
"Fine. Then show the other universes. Have any of the other candidates grasped Destruction yet?"
"Understood."

"Hmph. Useless, the lot of them."
Universe Seven, Sacred World of the Kai.
"Good!!"
Seeing Gran finally grasp true Destruction, Beerus roared with excitent as he sprinted over.
"Excellent!!"
"Hahahaha! Gran, you're still a monster! That's what I expect from you!"
Beerus reached Gran and began pounding his shoulder enthusiastically.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
The raw force made the entire Sacred World of the Kai tremble, earning a dramatic eye roll from the Old Kai.
Only Shin worried about Gran's shoulder.
Being slapped by the strongest God of Destruction — wouldn't Gran's bones crack?
"Lord Beerus, please… a little gentler."
Gran massaged his shoulder helplessly.
"Hahahaha! Our Universe Seven's precious treasure! You're incredible!!"
Suddenly, the Old Kai rushed in too and began slapping Gran's other shoulder with equal enthusiasm.
Gran: "..."
After the commotion, everyone returned to the great tree.
Broly was still eating.
Beerus plopped into his seat at the table and urgently asked:
"How does the power of Destruction feel?"
