With the dust settling, Krillin and the survivors gathered the fallen, carrying the bodies of Android 18 and Trunks away from the scorched earth. As they vanished into the horizon, a bumbling reporter approached Mr. Satan, who stood amidst the rubble. Seeing no one else left to claim the victory, the world champion took a deep breath and took the credit for defeating the ultimate evil.

On the Lookout, Dende's healing light restored Gohan and Android 18. Krillin remained by 18's side, his feelings written clearly on his face, though the icy cyborg showed no interest and departed. Soon, the sky turned pitch black as they summoned Shenron. These new Dragon Balls, crafted by Dende, could grant three wishes. Their first priority was reviving the innocent lives snuffed out by Cell, followed by bringing Trunks back to life.

But when it ca to Son Goku, Shenron's eyes glowed a dull red. "I cannot revive the sa person twice."

Dende suggested traveling to Planet Nak to use their Dragon Balls, but suddenly, the familiar, cheerful voice of Son Goku echoed in their minds. He told them that Bulma was right—he was a magnet for trouble. He believed Earth would be safer if he stayed in the afterlife. His calm acceptance didn't shock his oldest friends; Goku had always been this way.

With one wish left, Krillin made a surprising request: to turn the Androids into humans. When Shenron admitted he lacked the power to alter their chanical biology, Krillin instead asked to have the bombs removed from their bodies.
