Gogeta's mind went blank, the sheer montum of his thoughts derailed by a sudden, jarring shift in reality.

Only seconds ago, he had been locked in a death struggle with Beerus. He knew the stakes; if he hadn't reined in his power, if he had chosen to keep pushing against the God of Destruction's chaotic energy, the very fabric of the sector would have shattered like cheap glass.

But the world didn't break. It changed.

Gogeta swept his gaze across the horizon, his muscles coiled and wary. His heart hamred against his ribs, not from exhaustion, but from a rising tide of confusion and white-hot fury. This wasn't the battlefield he knew. The stars were gone. The familiar pressure of Universe 7 had vanished.

Why? What happened?

He knew from experience that spatial rifts played by different rules. In the future tiline, the distorted flow of ti within those cracks was the only reason he hadn't split back into Goku and Vegeta imdiately. He had planned for that. He figured if he could just tear a hole in space and dive in, he could go another three hundred rounds with Beerus without worrying about the fusion tir.

But this place was different. He could feel it in the soles of his feet and the air in his lungs. The dinsions here weren't fragile or thinning, they were impossibly dense. Solid. Absolute.

The realization hit him like a physical blow, and the frustration he'd been suppressed ignited. He stopped trying to make sense of the "how" and "why." If the world wanted to change the rules, he would just have to break the new ones.

He funneled every ounce of his simring rage into his palm. A spark ignited, blooming instantly into the iridescent, swirling core of a Soul Punisher. The light was blinding, a miniature star born in the darkness, casting long, jagged shadows across the infinite nothingness of the World of Void.

"Damn it, Beerus!" Gogeta roared, his voice echoing in the emptiness. "What the hell did you do?!"

Beerus stood several ters away, looking just as blindsided. For once, the Destroyer's signature smirk was gone, replaced by a look of genuine uncertainty.

As a God of Destruction, his mandate was simple: erase and annihilate. But folding space, instantaneous relocation, and transporting two entities of their caliber to a completely different realm? That was a trick that wasn't in his playbook.

"Tch! You're asking ?" Beerus snapped, his hackles rising. "Who the hell am I supposed to ask? I didn't do this!"

Despite his confusion, Beerus didn't drop his guard. His aura flared, purple energy surging around him like a tidal wave. He didn't know where they were, but his instincts, honed over millions of years, were screaming at him. This environnt was fundantally different from the universe they had just left.

Then, a flicker of recognition crossed his face. He tasted the air, sensing the distinct, sterile lack of life and matter.

Is this... the World of Void?

It was a realm outside the reach of the twelve universes, a place of nothingness. Beerus narrowed his eyes. There were very few beings capable of moving a God of Destruction against his will in the blink of an eye. In fact, he could only think of one group.

The Angels.

Deep within the reaches of Universe 7, the scars of the battle were still bleeding.

Whis and Vados stood at the epicenter of the fractured space, their staves glowing with a rhythmic, ethereal light. They worked in perfect synchronicity, weaving the fabric of reality back together, nding the jagged holes left by Gogeta and Beerus.

Whis exhaled a long, asured breath, leaning slightly on his staff. "My word... thank goodness you arrived when you did, Sister. If I had to manage a repair of this magnitude alone, I'm afraid I wouldn't have finished before the collapse beca permanent."

He paused, his brow furrowing as the imdiate crisis faded. He turned to Vados, a look of mild suspicion in his violet eyes. "Actually... why are you in my universe, Vados?"

Vados offered a dry, elegant chuckle, covering her mouth with a hand. "It's all thanks to Lord Champa, I'm afraid. He insisted on coming to Universe 7 for a 'stroll', which usually ans he's looking for sothing to eat."

A hint of weary helplessness softened her gaze. Then, her posture stiffened. In her rush to assist Whis with the spatial collapse, she had moved at a speed that left even a God of Destruction in the dust.

"Oh dear," she murmured, looking back the way she ca. "I seem to have left Lord Champa behind in the vacuum. I suppose I should go pick him up..."

The World of Void.

Gogeta was past the point of reason. With a guttural roar, he lunged, driving the Soul Punisher forward in a vicious arc aid straight for Beerus's face. The prismatic sphere hissed through the air, humming with enough concentrated energy to vaporize a solar system.

It was inches away. The radiance washed over Beerus's purple skin, close enough to singe.

Yet, it stopped.

No matter how hard Gogeta pushed, the attack refused to connect, held back by an invisible, absolute pressure.

A slow, chilling smile spread across Beerus's face. He didn't even use both hands; he simply braced against the assault with a casual palm, his voice dropping into a calm, terrifying register.

"I rember now," Beerus mused, his eyes glinting with newfound predatory intent. "The World of Void. A realm on the absolute edge of existence. A very, very distant place."

He leaned in closer, his whisper cutting through the roar of Gogeta's aura like a needle.

"So distant, in fact, that you can't feel Earth from here, can you?"

The words hit Gogeta harder than any physical blow. His heart skipped. He instinctively reached out with his senses, searching for the familiar, vibrant sparks of Gohan, Piccolo, and the others.

Nothing. There was only a cold, hollow silence.

"You're strong. I'll give you that much, you've actually impressed ," Beerus continued, his tone shifting from observation to command. "As for how we got here? I'd wager my attendant, Whis, had a hand in it. He's always had a flair for tidying up my sses."

Gogeta's grip on the Soul Punisher faltered for a fraction of a second. "Whis?"

"My teacher. My shadow," Beerus said dismissively. He suddenly relaxed his posture, dropping his hands to his sides in a display of supre arrogance. "But enough small talk. Now..."

He spread his arms wide, looking out at the infinite grey nothingness.

"...this is my battlefield."

Beerus knew this place. He had bled here before, traded blows with other Gods of Destruction upon this very stage. The World of Void wasn't just empty; it was reinforced by the laws of the multiverse itself. It was a canvas that could withstand the stroke of a God.

In the next heartbeat, Beerus stopped holding back.

The restraint he had maintained since the start of the fight snapped. A pillar of deep, obsidian-purple energy erupted from his core, surging outward with such violent force that the very air molecules were annihilated on contact. The Hakai energy rolled across the ground like a tidal wave, hungry and all-consuming, reaching out to swallow Gogeta whole.

The realization finally dawned on the fusion. Everything Beerus had hinted at was true. Back in Universe 7, the Destroyer had been fighting with a leash around his neck, terrified of shattering reality and drawing the lethal ire of the Grand Minister or Zen-Oh.

But here? Here, the leash was gone.

Beerus hadn't just been winning; he had been hiding the true depth of his divinity.

Gogeta grit his teeth, his pupils trembling as the sheer pressure of Beerus's unleashed Power of Destruction threatened to crush his lungs. But it wasn't just the power gap that terrified him. It was the clock.

He could feel the fusion beginning to fray at the edges. The energy consumption was too high. If he burned out now, if he split back into Goku and Vegeta, it was over. They would be two mortals stranded in a void with a God who finally had permission to go all out.

Earth would be defenseless. His family, his ho... gone.

Gogeta's expression hardened, his eyes burning with a desperate, frantic resolve. He only had one card left to play. It was a gamble that defied logic, a move that flew in the face of survival.

He had to break the unbreakable. He had to shatter the very foundation of the World of Void itself. Only by fracturing this space could he stall the tir and keep the fusion alive.
