But then he suddenly realized that Shin's body was abnormally heavy, and he couldn't move him at all.
Kibito froze. The next mont, he felt an imnse amount of divine energy gathering around Shin.
Kibito was utterly baffled. This power was overwhelmingly strong. At that very mont, Gohan and Trunks also sensed sothing strange about Kaiōshin Shin.
To Kibito, this aura was incredibly powerful.
But to Trunks and Gohan, it was barely worth ntioning; it was perhaps not even comparable to one of their fingers in their normal state.
"Kaiōshin-sama?! Are you planning to take the field yourself?!" Kibito's eyes filled with admiration as he spoke.
anwhile, the Old Kaiōshin cast a sideways glance at Shin, curious to see what he was planning to do.
"Don't be ridiculous, Kaiōshin-sama! How could you possibly be a match for Beerus?! Calm down..." Kibito continued urgently.
Yet, in the next second, sothing unexpected happened.
Kaiōshin Shin suddenly raised a finger, pointing it straight at himself.
It was this action that made Trunks react instantly.

Was he trying to kill himself?!
Gohan had noticed it as well. In just a second, he rembered the conversation between the Grand Kaiōshin and Beerus from a few minutes earlier.
The lives of Kaiōshins are linked to those of the Gods of Destruction.
If one dies, the other will die as well.
Gohan understood imdiately. His figure flickered, and, in an instant, he appeared beside Kaiōshin Shin.
"Stop! Kaiōshin-sama! Don't do this!"
Gohan grabbed Kaiōshin Shin's finger in one swift motion. He was so fast that Shin was completely caught off guard; he didn't even realize when he had been restrained.
"Gohan San! Let go of ! If I die, Beerus will disappear too!" Kaiōshin Shin's righteous declaration shocked everyone present at that mont.
Kibito, in particular, was so moved that he was wiping away tears and snot at the sa ti.
"Waaah… Kaiōshin-sama, I always thought you were a cowardly, useless god who hid in the background, bossing others around and being utterly pathetic. But today, you've truly changed how I see you. I was wrong, Kaiōshin-sama, you're a good god! Who would have thought you'd make such a great decision for the safety of the universe!"
"I, Kibito, hereby offer you my sincerest apology, Kaiōshin-sama!" As he spoke, Kibito bowed deeply, his voice choked with sobs.
Hearing Kibito's outlandish remarks, Trunks felt conflicted. Everything Kibito said was technically true, but Trunks hadn't expected him to be this blunt.
If Kaiōshin Shin really died at this point, Trunks would almost feel guilty about it.
Shaking off the distraction, Trunks turned his gaze back to Kaiōshin Shin. Shin's expression darkened slightly. He hadn't expected to be seen as such a god by Kibito, described with so many negative terms.
But none of that mattered anymore.
Soon, it would all be a mory.
He had already made up his mind to commit suicide that day.
"Let go of ! Gohan San!" Kaiōshin Shin continued to shout.
"I won't let go!" Gohan barked back.
But just then, an aged yet domineering voice rang out from behind Kaiōshin Shin.
"Ridiculous! Utter foolishness! Do you really think dying will solve everything?" The Old Kaiōshin stepped forward and gave Shin a firm tap on the head.
He then continued scolding him, "And another thing, have you forgotten that there's more than one Kaiōshin here? You should rember that the one who originally ford the binding with Lord Beerus was !"
"Unless both of us die at the sa ti, Lord Beerus won't disappear. If you want to die, I won't stop you, but I have no intention of dying."
"And when I say 'die,' I don't an sothing as simple as floating around with a halo over your head. The last few tis I 'died' and had a halo were due to my special ability."
"If you really want the God of Destruction to die, then you'd have to truly kill both and you."
Kaiōshin Shin was left completely speechless. The old ancestor's words were absolutely correct.
"But… Beerus has already destroyed so many star systems! I…"
